c) Legen Sie 3x AA Batterien (polrichtig) entsprechend der Prägung im Batteriefach ein.

d) Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder. Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

Fernbedienung

a) Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach.

b) Entfernen Sie ggf. den Kontaktunterbrecher (Kunststoffblättchen).

c) Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder. Die Fernbedienung ist nun betriebsbereit.

2. Verbindungsaufbau mit der Fernbedienung

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme sowie nach jedem Batteriewechsel muss die Fernbedienung mit dem Decken-Alarm

(erneut) verbunden werden.

a) Drücken Sie hierzu mithilfe eines spitzen Gegenstandes die Taste auf der Rückseite der Alarmein-LEARN

heit.

b) Nun beginnt die Status-LED auf der Vorderseite zu blinken.

c) Drücken Sie nun die oder -Taste auf der Fernbedienung.ARM DISARM

d) Bei einem erfolgreichen Verbindungsaufbau ertönt ein kurzer Piepton.

3. Anbringen der Deckenhalterung

Hinweis: Prüfen Sie vor der Montage die Eignung der Montagestelle sowie des verwendeten Montagematerials.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine elektrischen, Wasser-, Gas- oder sonstigen Leitungen an der Montagestelle

vorhanden sind. Eventuell kann für die Montage anderes Montagezubehör benötigt werden. Nachdem Sie die

gewünschte Position der Alarmeinheit definiert und bestimmt haben, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:

a) Zeichnen Sie die Löcher in der Decke mithilfe der Aussparungen in der Halterung an.

b) Bohren Sie nun die Löcher an den angezeichneten Stellen.

c) Verwenden Sie anschließend die mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübel für die Montage der Halterung an der

Decke.

Befestigung der Alarmeinheit in der Deckenhalterung

Die Deckenhalterung besitzt eine Markierung ( ). Setzen Sie hier mit der Aussparung der Alarmeinheit an und

drehen Sie diese anschließend nach rechts (mit dem Uhrzeigersinn). Nun rastet die Alarmeinheit in der Halterung

ein.

Entfernen der Alarmeinheit

Um die Alarmeinheit zu entfernen, drücken Sie zuerst den Clip (etwas rechts von der -Markierung) nach

hinten. Nun können Sie die Alarmeinheit ohne einen Widerstand nach links (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) drehen

und entfernen.

6. Grundfunktionen

Aktivierung/Deaktivierung des Alarms

Aktiveren: Drücken Sie hierfür die Taste auf der FernbedienungARM

Auswahl der Alarmtöne

Dieses Produkt verfügt über zwei unterschiedliche Alarmtöne, welche über den seitlichen Schieberegler auf der

Fernbedienung ausgewählt werden können:

ALARM CHIME = lauter abschreckender Alarmton / = Ton einer Türklingel

ALARM-Modus:

Nach Aktivierung dieses Modus mit der Taste startet eine Einschaltverzögerung von 45 Sekunden. Die ARM

Status-LED blinkt hierbei auf. Nach Ablaufen der 45 Sekunden ertönt ein kurzer Piepton, welcher die erfolgreiche

Aktivierung des Alarmmodus signalisiert. Bei einem aktivierten Alarmmodus wird erst 30 Sekunden nach Erken-

nung einer Bewegung ein Alarmton ausgelöst. Der Alarm stoppt nach 30 Sekunden Wiedergabe und wird erst bei

einer erneuten Bewegung sofort wieder ausgelöst. Die Deaktivierung über die Taste kann auch während DISARM

der Alarmverzögerung erfolgen, sodass der Alarm trotz Bewegung nicht ausgelöst wird.

CHIME-Modus:

Bei Aktivierung dieses Modus mit der Taste startet sofort nach Registrierung einer Bewegung ein Alarmton ARM

(Türklingelton). Nach der Alarmauslösung erfolgt eine kurze Verzögerung von einigen Sekunden, bevor ein er-

neuter Alarm durch Bewegung ausgelöst wird. Dies verhindert, dass der Alarm ununterbrochen ertönt, wenn sich

jemand im Erkennungsbereich aufhält.

Funktionstest

Um die ordnungsgemäße Funktion der Alarmeinheit zu überprüfen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

1. Aktivieren Sie den Modus auf der Fernbedienung. (seitlicher Schieberegler).CHIME

2. Schalten Sie nun die Alarmeinheit scharf. (Taste auf der Fernbedienung).ARM

3. Bewegen Sie sich innerhalb des Erkennungsbereichs, um den Alarm auszulösen.

Ertönt hierbei trotz idealer Umgebungsumstände kein Ton, wechseln Sie bitte wie oben beschrieben die Batterien

aus. Wenn jedoch ein Signal ertönt, funktioniert die Alarmeinheit ohne Probleme und kann weiter verwendet

werden. (Wechseln Sie ggf. nun wieder auf die gewünschte Einstellung).

Dieses Produkt registriert Bewegungen innerhalb eines Erken-

nungsbereichs und löst nach deren Erkennung einen Alarm aus.

Daher eignet sich dieses Produkt ideal für die Anbringung in Häusern, Garagen oder z.B. dem Geräteschuppen.

Wichtig! Die Verwendung dieses Produkts bietet Ihnen keinen unmittelbaren Schutz oder Sicherheit vor Ein-

brüchen oder Angriffen. Jedoch werden durch das Auslösen des Alarms mögliche Eindringlinge oder Angreifer

abgeschreckt, sowie Personen in unmittelbarer Umgebung alarmiert.

5. Inbetriebnahme

Es wird empfohlen den späteren Montageort vorab mithilfe eines Funktionstests zu überprüfen. (Weitere Erläute-

rungen im jeweiligen Abschnitt). Dies soll spätere Komplikationen vermeiden.

Montage & Montageort

Dieses Produkt ist speziell für die Montage an der Decke

entwickelt worden. Jedoch ist es bedingt auch möglich

die Alarmeinheit an einer Wand zu montieren. Hierbei

kann es aber vorkommen, dass sich die Eigenschaften

und die Alarmgenauigkeit unter Umständen verändern.

Beachten Sie hierfür zusätzlich die Angabe für den Er-

fassungsbereich.

Der maximale Erfassungsbereich des Infrarot-Sensors

in der Alarmeinheit beträgt 360° horizontal sowie ca.

100° vertikal. Beachten Sie aber, dass dies immer

von den Umgebungsumständen wie z.B. Hindernissen

oder Sonneneinstrahlung abhängig ist und diese daher

eventuell geringer sein kann.

Anmerkungen zur Montage

• Dieses Produkt ist speziell für die Montage an der Decke entwickelt worden!

• Dieses Produkt ist ausschließlich für die Nutzung im Innenbereich geeignet. Durch die Montage im Außenbe-

reich kann bei anschließenden Defekten keine Haftung übernommen werden.

• Prüfen Sie vor der Installation die Eignung der Montagestelle sowie des verwendeten Montagematerials.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine elektrische, Wasser-, Gas- oder sonstige Leitungen an der Montagestelle

vorhanden sind.

• Montieren Sie die Alarmeinheit nicht in der direkten Nähe von Öfen, Klimageräten oder anderen Systemen

• Wählen Sie die Montagestelle so aus, dass im späteren Erfassungsbereich sehr wenige bis keine Hindernisse

stehen. (z.B. Möbel oder Schränke)

• Eventuell kann für die Montage anderes Montagezubehör benötigt werden.

• Beachten Sie, dass die Kommunikation zwischen der Fernbedienung und der Alarmeinheit via Infrarot arbeitet.

Mauern, Wände oder Schränke, welche zwischen beiden stehen können die Kommunikation behindern.

• Für eine optimale Funktion und ein Ausschöpfen des maximalen Erkennungsbereichs beträgt die ideale

Deckenhöhe 2 bis maximal 4 m.

4. Intended use

This product registers movements within a detection range and

triggers an alarm after their detection. This product is therefore

ideally suited for installing on houses, garages, tool sheds and such like.

useful information about using this product. Please read all the operating instructions carefully.

General safety & maintenance instructions

• This product is intended for private, non-commercial household use.

• This product is an electronic product, and is not meant to be handled by children! Please keep it out of the

reach of children.

• Protect the product from dampness, water, rain, snow or drizzle. Only use this product in dry environments,

unless specifically indicated.

• Do not drop the product or expose it to strong vibrations.

• Do not insert any object into any openings or connections on the product.

• Do not disassemble the product. The device contains no parts that can be serviced by the user. Incorrect as-

sembly may result in electric shock or malfunction.

• Clean this product with a slightly damp, lintfree cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. Make sure

no water gets into the product when it is being cleaned.

Once you have defined and decided on the desired position for the alarm unit, please proceed as follows:

a) Mark the holes on the ceiling using the recesses in the bracket.

b) Drill the holes at the points indicated.

c) Then use the screws and dowel supplied for mounting the bracket to the ceiling.

Fixing the alarm unit in the ceiling bracket

The ceiling bracket has a ( ) marking. Using the recess in the alarm unit, turn it to the right (clockwise direc-

tion). The alarm unit will lock into place in the bracket.

Removing the alarm unit

To remove the alarm unit first press the clip (a little to the right of the -marking) backwards. Now you can turn

the alarm unit to the left (anticlockwise) without any resistance and remove it.

6. Basic functions

Activating / Deactivating the alarm

Selection of alarm sounds

This product has two different alarm sounds which can be selected using the side slider on the remote control:

ALARM CHIME = loud deterring alarm sound / = sound of a doorbell

ALARM mode:

A start-up delay of 45 seconds commences after activating this mode with the button. The status LED flashes ARM

during this time. There is a short beep after the 45 seconds have elapsed. This indicates that the alarm mode has

been successfully activated. When the alarm mode is activated, an alarm is triggered 30 seconds after a movement

is detected. The alarm stops after ringing for 30 seconds and is only triggered again as soon as a new movement is

detected. Deactivation can also be carried out during the alarm delay using the button so that the alarm DISARM

will not be triggered even if there is movement

CHIME mode:

When this mode is activated with the button, an alarm (doorbell sound) starts as soon as a movement is ARM

registered. After the alarm is triggered, there is a short delay of a few seconds before a new alarm is triggered by

a movement. This prevents the alarm from ringing continuously when someone is in the detection area.

Function test

To check that the alarm unit is working properly, proceed as follows:

1. Activate the mode on the remote control. (side slider)CHIME

2. Switch the alarm unit to active. ( button on the remote control)ARM

3. Move within the detection area to trigger the alarm.

If no alarm sounds despite ideal surrounding circumstances replace the batteries as described above. If a signal

does sound however the alarm unit is working properly and can continue to be used. (Change back to the desired

setting if necessary.)

Première installation

1.Insertion des piles

Alarme

a) Tournez le support de l’alarme comme décrit dans le point retrait de l’alarme.

b) Ouvrez le compartiment des piles.

c) Insérez 3 piles AA (selon la polarité) selon les indications du compartiment de piles.

d) Refermez maintenant le compartiment des piles. L’appareil est maintenant prêt à l’emploi.

Télécommande

a) Ouvrez le compartiment des piles.

b) Retirez si nécessaire la languette coupe-contact. (Languette en plastique).

c) Refermez maintenant le compartiment des piles. La télécommande est prête à l’emploi.

2. Connexion avec la télécommande

Lors d’une première installation tout comme à chaque changement de piles, la télécommande doit être (à nou-

veau) réinitialisée avec le couvercle de l’alarme.

a) Appuyez à l’aide d’un objet pointu sur la touche placée à l’arrière de l’alarme.LEARN

b) Maintenant l’indicateur LED sur le devant se met à clignoter.

c) Appuyez ensuite sur la touche ou de la télécommande.ARM DISARM

Un BIP bref retentit en cas de connexion réussie.

3. Fixation du support plafond

Indication:

Vérifiez avant toute installation l’adéquation de l’emplacement de montage ainsi que le matériel de montage

utilisé.

Assurez- vous de l’absence de câbles électriques, de conduite d’eau ou de gaz ou d’autres conduites autres à

proximité de l’emplacement d’installation. D’autres accessoires seront peut être nécessaires pour l’installation.

Après avoir défini et déterminé la position idéale pour l’alarme, procédez comme suit:

a) Dessinez les trous dans le plafond en utilisant les fentes sur le support.

b) Percez ensuite les trous aux endroits indiqués.

c) Utilisez enfin les vis et chevilles incluses pour installer la fixation au plafond.

Il y a un repère sur le support plafond ( ). Insérez ensuite l’alarme dans les fentes et tourner vers la droite (dans

le sens des aiguilles d’une montre).

L’alarme est maintenant fixée au plafond.

Retrait de l’alarme

Pour retirer l’alarme, appuyez sur le clip (un peu à droite du repère ) à l’arrière. Vous pouvez ensuite tourner

l’alarme sans résistance vers la gauche (dans le sens inverse des aiguilles) et ensuite la retirer.

6. Fonctions de base

Activation / désactivation de l’alarme

Choix de la tonalité de l’alarme

Ce produit possède deux tonalités d’alarme différentes qui peuvent être sélectionnées sur le curseur placé sur le

côté sur la télécommande.

ALARM CHIME = forte alarme de dissuasion / = sonnette

Mode alarme:

Après l’activation de ce mode avec la touche , une période de temporisation de 45 secondes commence. ARM

L’indicateur LED se met à clignoter. Un BIP bref retentit après ces 45 secondes et signale que l’activation du

mode alarme a été réalisée avec succès. Un signal d’alarme ne retentit que 30 secondes après la détection d’un

mouvement lorsque le mode alarme est activé. Le signal sonore s’arrête après 30 secondes et ne sera à nouveau

déclenché que par un autre mouvement. La désactivation par la touche DISARM peut aussi être effectuée pendant

la temporisation si bien que l’alarme ne se déclenche pas malgré les mouvements.

Mode CHIME:

Un signal d’alarme (sonnette) se déclenche dès l’enregistrement d’un mouvement lorsque ce mode est activé avec

la touche . Après le déclenchement de l’alarme, il y a une courte pause de quelques secondes avant qu’une ARM

nouvelle alarme causée par les mouvements ne retentisse. Cela évite que l’alarme sonne de manière ininterrom-

pue lorsqu’une personne se tient dans la zone de couverture.

Test de fonctionnement

Pour tester le bon fonctionnement de l’alarme, procédez comme suit:

1. Activez le mode sur la télécommande. (Curseur sur le côté)CHIME

2. Réglez l’alarme au maximum. ( Touche de la télécommande)ARM

3. Faites des mouvements à l’intérieur de la zone de couverture afin de déclencher l’alarme.

Si aucune sonnerie ne retentit malgré un environnement idéal, veuillez remplacer les piles comme décrit ci-dessus.

Si un signal retentit, l’alarme fonctionne sans problème et peut continuer à être utilisée. (Si nécessaire, choisissez

à nouveau le réglage désiré)

5. Start up

It is recommended that you check the intended mounting location beforehand using the function test. (See the

respective section for further information). This is to prevent later complications.

Assembly & mounting location

This product has been especially developed for mounting on a ceiling. However, it is also possible to mount the

alarm unit on a wall. In this case however, the properties and accuracy of the alarm may change under certain

circumstances. In this regard, take note also of the information on the detection area.

Illustration 2:

The maximum detection range of the infrared sensor in the alarm unit is 360° horizontal and approx. 100° ver-

tical. Please note however, that this always depends on the surrounding circumstances like obstacles or exposure

to the sun for instance and may therefore possibly be lower.

Notes on assembling

• This product has been especially designed for mounting on a ceiling!

• This product is intended for indoor use only. No liability will be accepted for defects arising from its exterior

installation.

• Check the suitability of the mounting site and the mounting materials before installing. Make sure that no elec-

trical cables, water and gas pipes or other cables are present at the mounting location.

• Do not mount the alarm unit in the direct vicinity of ovens, air conditioning devices or other systems of this

kind.

• Select a location area where very few or no obstacles are present in the intended detection area (e.g., furniture

or cupboards).

• Other mounting accessories may be required for the installation.

• Note that communication between the remote control and the alarm unit is via infrared. Walls, partitions or

cupboards that stand between them could interfere with communication.

• The ideal ceiling height for optimal functioning and utilisation of the detection range is 2 m up to a maximum of 4 m.

First installation

1. Inserting the batteries:

Alarm unit

a) Rotate the ceiling alarm out of its bracket as described in the section Removing the alarm unit.

b) Open the battery compartment.

c) Insert 3x AA batteries (correct polarity) as per the imprint in the battery compartment.

d) Close the battery compartment again. The device is now ready to operate.

Remote control

a) Open the battery compartment.

b) Remove the contact breaker (plastic sheet) if necessary.

c) Close the battery compartment again. The remote control is now ready to operate.

The remote control must be connected with the ceiling alarm the first time it is started up and again each time

the batteries are replaced.

a) To do this, press the button on the back of the alarm unit with a pointed object. LEARN

4. Usage prévu

Ce produit enregistre les mouvements dans une zone de détec-

tion et déclenche l’alarme en cas de reconnaissance. Par consé-

5. Installation

Il est recommandé de vérifier la future installation en effectuant un essai de fonctionnement. (De plus amples

Assemblage & pose

Ce produit a spécialement été conçu pour être installé au plafond. Cependant il est aussi possible de l’installer sur

un mur. Il se peut cependant que les propriétés et la précision de l’alarme se modifient selon les circonstances.

Veuillez noter l’indication suivante concernant la zone de couverture.

La zone de couverture du capteur infrarouge de l’alarme est de 360° à l’horizontale et d’environ 100° à la

verticale.

Veuillez cependant noter que ce dernier dépend de l’environnement comme p.ex. les obstacles ou la luminosité et

que leur influence doit éventuellement être réduite.

• Veuillez noter que la communication entre la télécommande et l’alarme s’effectue par infrarouge. La commu-

• Pour des performances optimales et une exploitation au maximum de la zone de couverture, la hauteur du

2. Come instaurare il collegamento con il telecomando

Al momento della prima messa in servizio e ogni volta che si sostituiscono le batterie, è necessario procedere

(nuovamente) a stabilire il collegamento tra telecomando e allarme da soffitto.

a) Utilizzando un oggetto appuntito, premere il tasto posto sul retroLEARN

dell’unità di allarme.

b) Il LED di stato presente sulla parte frontale dell’apparecchio inizierà a lampeggiare.

c) Premere il tasto / sul telecomando.ARM DISARM

d) Se il collegamento è andato a buon fine, si udirà un breve segnale acustico.

3. Installazione della staffa di montaggio a soffitto

Indicazioni

Prima di procedere all’installazione, assicurarsi di trovare il punto ottimale per il montaggio e di utilizzare il

materiale di montaggio idoneo. Accertarsi che nei pressi del punto di montaggio non siano presenti condutture

elettriche, idriche, del gas o di altro tipo. Potrebbero rendersi necessari accessori di montaggio supplementari.

Dopo aver stabilito la posizione ottimale per l’unità di allarme, procedere come segue:

a) Seguendo il contorno delle rientranze presenti sulla staffa, disegnare sul soffitto i punti in cui saranno

praticati i fori di montaggio.

b) Praticare i fori nei punti indicati usando un trapano.

c) Infine usare le viti e i tasselli inclusi nella fornitura per installare la staffa sul soffitto.

Sulla staffa di montaggio è presente un contrassegno ( ). Posizionare la rientranza dell’unità di allarme sul con-

trassegno, quindi ruotare l’unità verso destra (in senso orario) finché non si innesta nella staffa.

Rimozione dell’unità di allarme

Per rimuovere l’unità di allarme, premere verso il basso la clip posta sulla destra del contrassegno . Ora è pos-

sibile ruotare l’unità di allarme verso sinistra (in senso antiorario) senza incontrare resistenza e quindi sganciarla

per rimuoverla dalla staffa.

Selezione degli allarmi acustici

È possibile selezionare due diversi tipi di segnale acustico mediante il cursore laterale del telecomando:

ALARM CHIME = segnale d’allarme ad alto volume, per scoraggiare eventuali intrusi / = suono di un campanello

Modalità ALARM:

quando si imposta questa modalità mediante il tasto , si avvia un ritardo di attivazione di 45 secondi, mentre ARM

il LED di stato lampeggia. Al termine dei 45 secondi si udirà un breve segnale acustico, che comunica l’attivazione

della modalità di allarme. Con la modalità di allarme attiva, viene emesso un segnale acustico d’allarme dopo 30

secondi dal rilevamento di un qualsiasi movimento. Il segnale acustico si interrompe automaticamente dopo 30

secondi e si riattiva nel momento in cui l’apparecchio rileva nuovamente un movimento. La modalità di allarme

può essere disattivata mediante il tasto anche durante il ritardo dell’allarme, in modo che l’allarme non DISARM

scatti in caso di rilevamento di un movimento.

Modalità CHIME:

quando si imposta questa modalità mediante il tasto , al rilevamento di un movimento viene emesso un ARM

segnale acustico (campanello). All’attivazione dell’allarme segue un intervallo di ritardo di alcuni secondi, così che

l’allarme non scatti istantaneamente al rilevamento di un nuovo movimento da parte del sensore. In questo modo

si evita che l’allarme suoni ininterrottamente nel caso in cui qualcuno sosti nel campo di rilevamento.

Test di funzionamento

Per verificare regolarmente il corretto funzionamento dell’unità di allarme, procedere come segue:

1. Attivare la modalità sul telecomando (cursore laterale).CHIME

2. Attivare l’unità di allarme (tasto sul telecomando)ARM

3. Entrare nel campo di rilevamento per far scattare l’allarme.

Nel caso in cui non si senta alcun segnale acustico nonostante le condizioni esterne siano ottimali, è necessario

cambiare le batterie come su descritto. Se invece si sente un segnale acustico, l’unità di allarme funziona corretta-

mente ed è possibile continuare a utilizzarla (eventualmente tornare all’impostazione desiderata).

5. Puesta en funcionamiento

Instalación y lugar de montaje

Indicaciones para el montaje

Indicazioni generali di sicurezza e manutenzione

• Questo apparecchio è progettato per l’uso privato in ambito domestico e non per l’uso commerciale.

• Si tratta di un prodotto elettronico, non adatto all’utilizzo da parte dei bambini! Si consiglia quindi di conservarlo

4. Uso previsto

L’apparecchio attiva un allarme nel momento in cui registra dei

movimenti all’interno di un campo di rilevamento preimpostato,

per questo è particolarmente indicato per l’installazione in abita-

zioni, garage o, ad esempio, rimesse per attrezzi.

Importante!

Questo prodotto non costituisce di per sé una garanzia di protezione o difesa da furti o aggressioni. Tuttavia,

l’attivazione dell’allarme non solo spaventa l’eventuale intruso o aggressore, ma attira anche l’attenzione delle

persone che si trovano nelle vicinanze.

5. Messa in servizio

Si consiglia di verificare preventivamente l’idoneità del luogo di montaggio mediante un test funzionale (ulteriori

dettagli nella sezione correlata) per evitare complicazioni future.

Montaggio e luogo di montaggio

L’apparecchio è stato progettato appositamente per il montaggio a soffitto.

In alcuni casi è possibile installare l’unità di allarme sulla parete ma, in determinate circostanze, ciò potrebbe

incidere negativamente sulle caratteristiche del dispositivo e sulla precisione dell’allarme. A tal proposito, attenersi

anche alle indicazioni relative al campo di rilevamento.

zontale e ca. 100° in verticale.

In ogni caso bisogna tenere presente che la capacità di rilevamento è influenzata dalle condizioni circostanti e può

risultare inferiore, ad esempio, a causa delle radiazioni solari o per la presenza di ostacoli.

Installazione iniziale

1. Inserimento delle batterie

Unità di allarme

a) Svitare il dispositivo per estrarlo dal supporto da soffitto, come descritto al punto Rimozione dell’unità di

allarme.

b) Aprire il vano batterie.

c) Inserire nel vano 3 batterie AA, facendo attenzione a rispettare la corretta polarità (osservare i simboli

presenti nel vano).

d) Richiudere il vano batterie. L’apparecchio è già pronto per l’uso.
