ELECTRIC KETTLE

Dear Buyer!

We congratulate you on having

bought the device under trade

name “Saturn”. We are sure that

our devices will become safe and

reliable assistance in your house-

keeping.

Avoid extreme temperature

changes. Rapid temperature

change (e.g. when the unit is

moved from freezing temperature

to a warm room) may cause con-

densation inside the unit and a

malfunction when it is switched

on.

In this case leave the unit at room

temperature for at least 1.5 hours

before switching it on.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic

safety precautions should always be

taken, including the following:

1. Read all instructions.

2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use

handles or knobs.

3. To protect against ﬁre, electric

shock and injury to persons DO NOT

IMMERSE CORD, PLUG, OR POWER

BASE UNIT in water or other liquids.

4. Close supervision is necessary when

any appliance is used by or near chil-

dren.

5. Unplug from outlet when not in use

and before cleaning. Allow to cool be-

fore putting on or taking oﬀ parts, and

before cleaning the appliance.

6. Do not operate any appliance with a

damaged cord or plug, or after the

appliance malfunctions, or has been

damaged in any manner. Return ap-

pliance to the nearest authorized ser-

vice facility for examination, repair, or

adjustment.

7. Do not use outdoors.

8. Do not let the cord hang over the

edge of a table or counter, or touch

hot surfaces.

9. Do not place on or near a hot gas

or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

10. Always fill the kettle first, then set

the appliance onto the power base,

and ﬁnally plug cord into outlet. To

disconnect, remove kettle from power

base, then remove plug from wall out-

let.

11. Do not use this appliance for other

than intended use.

12. Always make sure that lid is closed

during operation. Scalding may occur

when lid is open during operation.

13. Extreme caution must be used

when moving the kettle containing hot

water.

14. This appliance is not intended for

use by person (including children) with

reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities, or lack of experience and

knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction con-

cerning use of the appliance by a per-

son responsible for their safety.

15. Children should be supervised to

ensure that they do not play with the

appliance.

16. FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.

17. Service life – 2 years.

PLEASE DON'T!

• Never boil water while the lid is

open. The kettle will not shut oﬀ and

boiling water may splash out of the

kettle. This can cause severe injuries.

• Never try to remove the lid.

• When opening the lid, handle it gen-

tly and do not try to push it beyond its

normal resistance. If you break the

lid, the kettle will not work properly.

• Never ﬁll kettle with anything but

water.

• Do not add instant soups or any

other soluble to the kettle.

• Do not use the kettle to thaw food of

any kind.

• Do not use the kettle to make sauc-

es or to melt cheese, butter or any

other items.

• Never immerse the kettle in any

liquid. Never put kettle or base in the

dishwasher.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST

TIME

Read all Important Safeguards and

Operating Instructions before using

this kettle.

Discard the ﬁrst ﬁlling of boiling water

to remove any dust and residues from

the manufacturing process.

TO BOIL WATER

1. Remove kettle from base.

2. Open the lid until it stands vertical-

ly. DO NOT BEND LID FURTHER

3. Fill with the desired amount of fresh

cold water. The kettle has minimum

and maximum markings. Never under-

ﬁll or overﬁll the kettle.

CAUTION / DANGEROUS: Never ﬁll

above the MAX line. If you ﬁll above

the max line, boiling water will push

out of the pouring spout. This can

cause severe injuries and burns.

4. Close lid.

5. Place kettle on power base.

6. Plug cord into wall outlet.

7. Gently push the On switch upwards.

The blue Indicator Light will turn on

and the kettle begins to heat the wa-

ter.

8. When the water comes to a boil the

kettle will turn oﬀ automatically, the

on-switch will jump down and the light

will shut oﬀ.

9. Lift kettle from base and pour water

out slowly.

10. Replace kettle.

11. If you want to bring the remaining

water to a boil again, repeat step 7.

HELPFUL HINTS:

• Never try to boil water with the lid

open.

• Do not leave water standing in the

kettle. Discard unused water.

• If the kettle is "ON" without water,

the kettle will automatically turn oﬀ

(the blue indicator light will turn oﬀ,

but the switch will NOT jump back).

Slide the switch downward to the

complete OFF position.

• If you remove the kettle during

heating – before Auto Shut-Oﬀ – the

blue indicator light will turn oﬀ but the

switch will stay in the ON position. If

you place the kettle back on the power

base, the light will turn on again, indi-

cating that heating continues. You can

always slide the switch downward to

the complete OFF position.

CLEANING

• Always unplug cord of power base

before cleaning.

• Make sure kettle is cold.

• Clean the exterior surface with a

clean, damp, soft cloth.

• Never use abrasive cleaners or

scouring agents.

• Rinse out kettle and wipe dry with a

soft, lint-free cloth.

Attention:

• Over time the stainless steel cover

of the heating element inside the bot-

tom of the kettle may change color

slightly. This is caused by the intense

heat of the heating element.

• If your water has a high iron content

brownish stains may appear on the

stainless steel element (this is also

known as "boiler scale"). These stains

can be wiped away with a cloth and a

mild abrasive. Rinse kettle thoroughly

with fresh water.

DECALCIFICATION

Hard water can leave calcium spots

inside the kettle. Use a commercial

descaling agent and follow the instruc-

tions that come with the agent.

ем изделия торговой марки

“Saturn”. Мы уверены, что наши

изделия будут верными и

надежными помощниками в Ва-

шем домашнем хозяйстве.

Не подвергайте устройство рез-

ким перепадам температур. Рез-

кая смена температуры (напри-

мер, внесение устройства с мо-

роза в теплое помещение) может

вызвать конденсацию влаги

внутри устройства и нарушить

его работоспособность при

включении. Устройство должно

отстояться в теплом помещении

не менее 1,5 часов.

Ввод устройства в эксплуатацию

после транспортировки произво-

дить не ранее, чем через 1,5 ча-

са после внесения его в помеще-

ние.

ОСНОВНЫЕ МЕРЫ ПРЕДОСТО-

РОЖНОСТИ

При использовании данного устрой-

ства необходимо соблюдать следу-

ющие меры предосторожности:

1. Прочитайте инструкцию.

2. Не касайтесь горячих поверхно-

стей. Используйте ручки.

3. Во избежание пожара, поражения

электрическим током не погружайте

шнур, вилку в воду или другую жид-

кость.

4. Будьте особенно внимательны,

используя чайник возле детей.

5. Перед чисткой и длительным хра-

нением отключайте устройство от

розетки.

Прежде чем разбирать, дайте

устройству остыть.

6. Не эксплуатируйте чайник с по-

врежденным шнуром питания или в

случае неисправности: возвратите в

ближайший сервисный центр для

ремонта или настройки.

7. Не используйте электрочайник

вне помещения.

8. Шнур питания не должен свисать

со стола, касаться острых краев или

горячих поверхностей.

9. Не размещайте электрочайник

вблизи или на горячей газовой или

электрической горелке или в нагре-

той печи.

10. Сначала наполняйте чайник во-

дой, ставьте его на базу питания и

потом включайте вилку в розетку.

Чтобы отключить чайник, снимите

его с базы и отключите вилку от

сети.

11. Используйте устройство только

по назначению.

12. Крышка чайника всегда должна

быть закрыта. Если во время работы

чайник открыта крышка, вы можете

получить ожоги.

13. Будьте внимательны при перено-

се чайника с горячей водой.

14. Это устройство не предназначе-

но для использования лицами

(включая детей) с ограниченными

физическими, сенсорными или ум-

ственными способностями, а также

лицами, не имеющими опыта и зна-

ний, если они не находятся под

наблюдением или не получили ин-

струкции по использованию устрой-

ства от лица, ответственного за их

безопасность.

15. Необходимо внимательно сле-

дить за электрочайником, если он

используется возле детей.

16. ТОЛЬКО ДЛЯ БЫТОВОГО ИС-

ПОЛЬЗОВАНИЯ.

ЗАПРЕЩЕНО

– Не включайте электрочайник с

открытой крышкой.

– Чайник может не выключиться и

вода разбрызгиваться из чайника.

Это может привести к травмам.

– Открывайте крышку, легко нажав

на кнопку.

– Если повреждена крышка, чайник

не будет нормально работать.

– Наливайте в чайник только воду.

– Не наливайте в чайник супы и

другие продукты.

– Не используйте электрочайник для

разогрева продуктов.

– Чайник нельзя использовать для

приготовления соусов или разогрева

сыра или других продуктов.

– Не погружайте чайник в воду или

другую жидкость. Не мойте чайник

или базу в посудомоечной машине.

ПЕРЕД ПЕРВЫМ

ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕМ

Прочитайте указания по безопасно-

сти и эксплуатации перед использо-

ванием электрочайника.

После первого кипячения слейте

воду с чайника.

КИПЯЧЕНИЕ ВОДЫ

1. Снимите чайник с базы.

2. Установите крышку в вертикаль-

ное положение. НЕ ОТКИДЫВАЙТЕ

КРЫШКУ ЧАЙНИКА НАЗАД!

3. Налейте в чайник необходимое

количество холодной воды. На шка-

ле уровня воды есть маркировка

максимального и минимального

уровня воды. Не наливайте меньше

или больше минимального и макси-

мального уровня воды.

Внимание!

Не наливайте воды выше отметки

MAX. Если налить воду выше макси-

мальной отметки, во время кипения

вода будет выливаться через носик

чайника. Это может стать причиной

получения травм и ожогов.

4. Закройте крышку.

5. Поставьте чайник на круглую базу

питания.

6. Включите вилку шнура питания в

розетку.

7. Нажмите кнопку Включения (On)

вниз. Загорится синий индикатор

работы чайника – чайник начнет

нагревать воду.

8. После закипания чайник автома-

тически выключится, переключатель

перейдет в положение «Выкл.» и

индикатор работы исчезнет.

9. Снимите чайник с базы питания и

налейте воду с чайника.

10. Поставьте чайник на базу.

11. Если нужно повторно закипятить

воду, повторите шаг 7.

СОВЕТЫ ПО ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЮ

ЧАЙНИКА

Не включайте чайник с откры-

той крышкой.

Не оставляйте воду в чайнике.

Сливайте остатки воды.
