ELECTRIC KETTLE

Dear Buyer!

We congratulate you on having

bought the device under trade

name “Saturn”. We are sure that

our devices will become faithful

and reliable assistance in your

housekeeping.

Avoid extreme temperature

changes. Rapid temperature

change (e.g. when the unit is

moved from freezing temperature

to a warm room) may cause con-

densation inside the unit and a

malfunction when it is switched

on. In this case leave the unit at

room temperature for at least 1.5

hours before switching it on.If the

unit has been in transit, leave it

indoors for at least 1.5 hours be-

fore starting operation.

Before using the appliance, the user

should read the following instruc-

tions carefully.

Connection to the mains supply

The appliance should only be connected

to an earthed socket installed in accord-

ance with the regulations. Make sure

that the supply voltage corresponds with

the voltage marked on the rating label.

Important safety instructions

● Before the appliance is used, the main

unit as well as any attachment fitted

should be checked thoroughly for any

defects. Should the appliance, for in-

stance, have been dropped onto a hard

surface, it must not be used any longer:

even invisible damage may have ad-

verse effects on the operational safety

of the appliance.

● This appliance is not intended for use

by any person (including children) with

reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities, or lacking experience and

knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning the

use of the appliance by a person re-

sponsible for their safety.

● Children should be supervised to en-

sure that they do not play with the ap-

pliance.

● Do not leave the water kettle unat-

tended during operation. Use only pure

water when filling the container to the

desired level, observing the Min. and

Max. markings.

● Overfilling the container may cause

danger from boiling water being forced

out. Also beware of the danger of scald-

ing from hot steam being emitted.

Therefore, do not touch any parts of the

appliance except the handle during use.

● The housing becomes hot during use.

Caution! During the boiling process and

when pouring out hot water, the lid must

be kept closed at all times.

● The kettle may only be operated with

the base provided with the appliance.

● The appliance must be used only on a

heat-resistant, level surface.

● Do not allow the appliance or its pow-

er cord to come into contact with open

flames or any hot surfaces such as hot-

plates.

● Do not let the power cord hang free,

and keep the cord well away from hot

parts of the housing.

● Always remove the plug from the wall

socket,

- in case of any malfunction,

- after use,

- during cleaning of the appliance.

● No responsibility is accepted if damage

results from improper use, or if these

instructions are not complied with.

● This kettle is intended for domestic

use only and not for commercial applica-

tions.

● In order to comply with safety regula-

tions and to avoid hazards, repairs of

electrical appliances must be carried out

by qualified personnel, including the

replacement of the power cord. If re-

pairs are needed, please send the appli-

ance to one of our customer service

departments. The address can be found

in the appendix to this manual.

Thermal safety cut-out

The preset thermal safety cut-out pro-

tects the heating element from over-

heating should the appliance be errone-

ously switched on without any water, or

if the heating element is calcified. Once

the safety cut-out has switched off the

kettle, it must be allowed to cool down

sufficiently, or must be descaled before

it is switched on again.

Before using for the first time

● For reasons of hygiene, discard the

first three filling of water.

Boiling water

-Never remove the water con-

tainer from the base (or replace

it) while the appliance is

switched on.

-Remove the water container

from its base.

- Release and open the lid, and

fill the container with water to

the desired level, observing the

Min. and Max. markings.

- Before closing the lid and plac-

ing the container back on its

base, ensure that the appliance

has not yet been switched on.

- Insert the plug into a suitable

wall socket and press the

On/Off switch.

- The boiling process begins. Af-

ter reaching the boiling point,

the appliance is automatically

switched off by the integral

steam cut-off device.

- If you want to interrupt the

boiling process, set the On/Off

switch to its Off position. To

pour hot water, remove the

container from its base.

-To prevent hot steam from be-

ing emitted, ensure that the lid

remains closed while pouring

out the water.

Descaling

Depending on the water quality in your

area, lime deposits may build up on the

heating element. It is advisable to re-

move any such deposits at regular inter-

vals. A mixture of 0.5 litres of water to

two tablespoons of vinegar essence is

suitable.

- Pour the descaler in.

- Switch the appliance on and let

the solution reach boiling point.

- Leave it to take effect for a

short period.

- To clean the container after de-

scaling, rinse thoroughly with

clean water.

- Do not pour descalers down

enamel-coated sinks.

General cleaning and care

● Before cleaning the appliance, ensure

it is disconnected from the power supply

and has cooled down completely.

● To avoid the risk of electric shock, do

not clean the kettle and the base with

water and do not immerse them in wa-

ter. Do not clean under running water.

● For cleaning, a slightly damp, lint-free

cloth may be used.

● Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning

solutions, and do not use hard brushes

for cleaning.

Disposal

Do not dispose of old or defective appli-

ances in domestic garbage; this should

only be done through public collection

points.

Remarks

The instructions for cordless kettles shall

state that the kettle is only to be used

with the stand provided.

household and similar applications such

as:

-- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices

and other working environments;

-- farm houses;

-- by clients in hotels, motels and other

residential type environments;

-- bed and breakfast type environments.

Уверены, что наши изделия будут

верными и надежными помощни-

ками в Вашем домашнем хозяй-

стве.

Не подвергайте устройство резким

перепадам температур. Резкая

смена температуры (например,

внесение устройства с мороза в

теплое помещение) может вы-

звать конденсацию влаги внутри

устройства и нарушить его работо-

способность при включении.

Устройство должно отстояться в

теплом помещении не менее 1,5

часов. Ввод устройства в эксплуа-

тацию после транспортировки

производить не ранее, чем через

1,5 часа после внесения его в по-

мещение.

Перед началом работы внима-

тельно прочитайте инструкцию по

эксплуатации.

Подключение к электросети

Устройство следует подключать к за-

земленной розетке. Убедитесь, что

напряжение в сети соответствует

напряжению, указанному на завод-

ской табличке прибора.

Инструкции по безопасному ис-

пользованию:

● Перед использованием устройства

внимательно проверьте, нет ли в нем

дефектов или следов брака. Если

электрочайник упал на пол или дру-

гую твердую поверхность, его больше

нельзя эксплуатировать: даже неви-

димые повреждения могут повлиять на

нормальную работу устройства.

● Это устройство не предн азначено

для использования лицами с ограни-

ченными физическими, сенсорными

или умственными способностями, а

также лицами, не имеющими опыта и

знаний, если они не находятся под

наблюдением или не получили ин-

струкции по использованию устрой-

ства от лица, ответственного за их

безопасность. Не рекомендуется ис-

пользовать прибор детям в возрасте

до 14 лет.

● Дети должны находиться под пр и-

смотром для уверенности в том, что

они не играют с устройством.

● Н е оставляйте электрочайник без

присмотра. Наливайте воду в преде-

лах минимальной (Min.) и максималь-

ной (Max) отметок.

● Переливание воды может стать

причиной выплескивания воды во

время кипения. Также существует

опасность получения ожогов от

пара.

Во время использования не касайтесь

никаких частей электрочайника, кро-

ме ручки.

Во время кипячения воды корпус

сильно нагревается.

Внимание: в процессе кипячения или

при наливании воды крышка должна

быть всегда закрыта!

● Устройство должно испол ьзоваться

только с базой.

● Ставьте электрочайник на терм о-

стойкую ровную поверхность.

● Следите, чтобы устройство или

шнур питания не касались открытого

огня или горячих поверхностей.

● Следите, чтобы шнур пит ания не

свисал со стола. Располагайте его

вдали от горячего корпуса электро-

чайника.

● Отключайте шнур из розетки:

- в случае неисправностей;

- после использования;

- во время очистки устройства.

● Производитель не несет ответствен-

ности, если повреждение прибора ста-

ло следствием ненадлежащего исполь-

зования или несоблюдения инструк-

ции по эксплуатации.

● Электрочайник предназначен тол ь-

ко для бытового использования – не

для коммерческих или промышленных

целей.

● С целью соответствия тр ебованиям

безопасности и обеспечения надежной

работы прибора ремонт электрочайни-

ка, а также замену шнура питания

должен проводить только квалифици-

рованный персонал. При необходимо-

сти ремонта обратитесь в авторизиро-

ванный сервисный центр.

Защита от перегрева

Электрочайник оборудован защитой от

перегрева, предотвращающей пере-

грев нагревательного элемента, если

устройство включено без воды или на

нем образовалась накипь. При сраба-

тывании защиты от перегрева дайте

чайнику остыть или очистите его от

накипи. Только затем повторно вклю-

чайте электрочайник.

Перед первым использованием

● Если Вы используете чайник впе р-

вые, рекомендуется дважды закипя-

тить полный чайник воды и слить ее.

Протрите поверхность чайника влаж-

ной тканью.

Кипячение воды

● Не снимайте корпус с базы питания

при включенном приборе.

- Снимите электрочайник с базы

питания.

- Откройте крышку, наполните чай-

ник водой до необходимого уровня,

обращая внимание на шкалу уровня

воды.

- Перед тем, как закрыть крышку и

поставить чайник на базу питания,

убедитесь, что он не включен.

- Вставьте вилку в розетку и

нажмите переключатель вкл./выкл.

- Чайник начнет кипятить воду. Как

только вода закипит, электрочайник

автоматически выключится.

- Если необходимо выключить чай-

ник до закипания, нажмите переклю-
