NEW FEATURE! This scale features our convenient step-on operation. Once

initialised the scale can be operated by simply stepping straight on the platform – no

more waiting!

PREPARING YOUR SCALE 1. Open the battery compartment on the scale underside.

2. Remove isolating tab from beneath the battery (if ﬁtted) or insert batteries

observing the polarity signs (+ and -) inside the battery compartment. 3. Close

the battery compartment. 4. Select kg, st or lb weight mode by the switch on the

underside of the scale. 5. For use on carpet attach enclosed carpet feet. 6. Position

scale on a ﬁrm ﬂat surface.

INITIALISING YOUR SCALE 1. Press the platform centre and remove your foot.

2. ‘0.0’ will be displayed. 3. The scale will switch o and is now ready for use.

This initialisation process must be repeated if the scale is moved.

At all other times step straight on the scale.

OPERATING YOUR SCALE 1. Step on and stand very still while the scale computes

your weight. 2. Your weight is displayed. 3. Step o. Your weight will be displayed

for a few seconds. 4. The scale will switch o.

ADVICE FOR USE AND CARE Always weigh yourself on the same scale placed on

the same ﬂoor surface. Do not compare weight readings from one scale to another

as some dierences will exist due to manufacturing tolerances. • Placing your scale

on a hard, even ﬂoor will ensure the greatest accuracy and repeatability. • Weigh

yourself at the same time each day, before meals and without footwear. First thing in

the morning is a good time. • Your scale rounds up or down to the nearest increment.

If you weigh yourself twice and get two dierent readings, your weight lies between

the two. • Clean your scale with a damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaning agents.

• Do not allow your scale to become saturated with water as this can damage the

electronics. • Treat your scale with care - it is a precision instrument. Do not drop it

or jump on it. • Caution: the platform may become slippery when wet.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE If you experience any diculty in the use of your scale:

• Check the battery is correctly ﬁtted. • Check that you have selected your

preference of stones/pounds, kilograms or pounds. • Check that the scale is on a ﬂat,

level ﬂoor and not touching against a wall. • Repeat the ‘Initialisation’ procedure

every time the scale is moved. • If when you use the scale there is no display at all

or if ‘Lo’ is displayed - try a new battery. • If ‘O-Ld’ is displayed the scale has been

overloaded.

GUARANTEE This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or

replace the product, or any part of this product, free of charge if within 15 years of

the date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through defective workmanship

or materials. This guarantee covers working parts that aect the function of the

scale. It does not cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear and tear or

damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking apart the scale or its

components will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be supported by

proof of purchase and be returned carriage paid to Salter (or local Salter appointed

agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing the scale so that it is not

damaged while in transit. This undertaking is in addition to a consumer’s statutory

PRÉPARATION DE L’APPAREIL 1. Ouvrir le compartiment batterie situé au dos de

l’appareil. 2. Retirez la languette isolante de sous les piles (si elles sont installées)

ou insérez les piles en respectant les polarités (+ et -) indiquées à l’intérieur du

compartiment des piles. 3. Fermer le compartiment batterie. 4. Sélectionner le

mode de calcul du poids (kg, st ou lb) à l’aide du bouton à la base de l’appareil.

5. Pour une utilisation sur revêtement moquette, ﬁxer les pieds pour tapis. 6. Placer

le pèse-personne sur une surface plane et stable.

MISE EN ROUTE DE L’APPAREIL1. Appuyez sur le centre du plateau avec votre

pied puis retirez-le. 2. ‘0.0’ s’ache. 3. L’appareil est mis hors tension et prêt à

fonctionner.

Ce processus d’initialisation doit être répété en cas de déplacement de

l’appareil. Sinon, il sut de monter sur le plateau.

UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL 1. Montez sur le plateau et attendez sans bouger que

5 NLNIEUWE FUNCTIE Deze weegschaal beschikt over onze handige opstapbediening. Zodra de weegschaal is opgestart, hoeft u er alleen nog maar op te stappen. Wachten behoort tot het verleden. DE WEEGSCHAAL KLAARMAKEN 1. Open het batterijvak aan de onderkant van de weegschaal. Verwijder de isolatietab van onder de batterij (indien aangebracht) 2. of voer batterijen in zoals aangegeven met de polariteitstekens (+ en -) in de batterijhouder. Sluit het batterijvak. Selecteer de gewichtweergave “kg”, 3. 4. “st” of “lb” met de schakelaar aan de onderkant van de weegschaal. Wordt de 5. weegschaal op vloerbedekking geplaatst, breng dan de bijgesloten voeten aan. 6. Zet de weegschaal op een stevige, vlakke ondergrond. DE WEEGSCHAAL OPSTARTEN 1. Duw met uw voet op het midden van het platform en haal uw voet weer weg. In het display verschijnt ‘ De weegschaal wordt 2. 0’. 3.

uitgeschakeld en kan nu worden gebruikt. Dit opstartproces moet iedere keer wanneer de weegschaal is verplaatst, worden herhaald. Werd de weegschaal niet verplaatst, dan kunt u er gewoon op stappen. DE WEEGSCHAAL GEBRUIKEN 1. Stap op de weegschaal en blijf heel stil staan terwijl de weegschaal uw gewicht berekent. Uw gewicht wordt in het display 2. getoond. Stap van de weegschaal af. Het gewicht wordt nog enkele seconden 3. weergegeven. De weegschaal wordt uitgeschakeld. 4. WAARSCHUWINGSWEERGAVEO-Ld Gewicht hoger dan maximumcapaciteit. Lo Batterij vervangen. Err Instabiel gewicht. Blijf stil op de weegschaal staan. ADVIES VOOR GEBRUIK EN ONDERHOUD Zet bij het wegen dezelfde weegschaal altijd op dezelfde plaats op de vloer. Vergelijk geen meetwaarden van verschillende weegschalen, aangezien er door productietoleranties verschillen zullen bestaan.

• Plaats de weegschaal op een harde, vlakke vloer voor de grootste nauwkeurigheid en herhaalbaarheid van de meting. • Weeg uzelf iedere dag op hetzelfde tijdstip, voor maaltijden en zonder schoenen. Direct na het opstaan is een goede tijd.

• De weegschaal rondt naar de eerstvolgende stap naar boven of beneden af. Als u zich twee keer weegt en er twee keer een ander gewicht wordt aangegeven, dan ligt uw gewicht tussen deze beide waarden in. • Reinig de weegschaal met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen chemische reinigingsmiddelen. • Er mag geen water in de weegschaal dringen, omdat hierdoor de electronica beschadigd kan raken. • Behandel de weegschaal voorzichtig; het is een precisie-instrument. Laat het niet vallen en spring er niet op. • Pas op: De weegschaal kan glad worden als hij vochtig is. PROBLEMEN OPLOSSEN Indien u problemen met het gebruik van de weegschaal ondervindt: Controleer of de batterij correct is aangebracht. • Controleer of u de gewenste weergave hebt geselecteerd (kilo, st/lb, lb) • Controleer of de weegschaal op een platte ondergrond staat en geen muren raakt.

• Herhaal de “opstartprocedure” iedere keer wanneer de weegschaal wordt verplaatst. • Wanneer u de weegschaal gebruikt en er wordt niets of ‘ ’ in het display aangegeven, plaats dan een nieuwe Lobatterij. • Wanneer ‘ ’ wordt weergegeven, werd de weegschaal te zwaar belast. O-LdUITLEG OVER AEEA Deze markering geeft aan dat dit product binnen de EU niet met ander huisvuil mag worden weggeworpen. Om eventuele schade aan het milieu of de menselijke gezondheid door het ongecontroleerd wegwerpen van afval te voorkomen, dient dit apparaat op verantwoorde wijze gerecycled te worden om duurzaam hergebruik van materiaalbronnen te bevorderen. Wilt u het gebruikte apparaat retourneren, gebruik dan de retour- en ophaalsystemen of neem contact op met de winkelier waar het product gekocht is. GARANTIE Dit product is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Salter zal het product, of een onderdeel van dit product, gratis repareren of vervangen mits binnen 15 jaar na de aankoopdatum kan worden aangetoond dat het product defect is geraakt vanwege tekortschietend vakmanschap of gebrekkige materialen. Deze garantie heeft betrekking op werkende onderdelen die van invloed zijn op de werking van de weegschaal. De garantie heeft geen betrekking op cosmetische aantastingen veroorzaakt door slijtage of beschadigingen die per ongeluk of door verkeerd gebruik zijn ontstaan. Worden de weegschaal of onderdelen ervan geopend of gedemonteerd, dan komt de garantie te vervallen.

Claims die onder de garantie worden ingediend, moeten vergezeld gaan van een aankoopbewijs en op kosten van de verzender worden geretourneerd aan Salter (of de plaatselijke Salter-agent indien buiten het Verenigd Koninkrijk). De weegschaal dient zodanig te worden verpakt dat deze tijdens het transport niet beschadigd kan raken.
