Unit Type P26 Setup Guide
Thank you for purchasing the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wireless Bridge Unit Type P26 (herein-
after called this product).
For safe and correct use, be sure to read the “Read This First” before using this product.
This Setup Guide explains how to setup and use this product in a wireless network.

Parts and Functions
FRONT
Push switch Press and hold the push switch Starts this product in Conguration Mode:
for 5 sec while this product is active.
Congures this product using Smart Wireless Setup: Press and hold the
push switch for 10 sec while this product is active.
Resets this product to factory default settings: Press and hold the push
switch while turning on this product. Release the switch when the WLAN LED
turns green and then to red.
Link LED (Green/
Orange)
ON (Green): Linked in wired LAN(1000BASE-T).
BLINK (Green): Receiving packets in wired LAN(1000BASE-T).
ON (Orange): Linked in wired LAN (100BASE-TX/10BASE-T).
BLINK (Orange): Receiving packets in wired LAN (100BASE-TX/10BASE-T).
OFF: Wired LAN is not connected.

MAC AddressMAC Address of this product. For the MAC address to use for wireless
LAN connection, the MAC address of the device connected to a LAN port
of this product will be used (MAC address transparent feature).
Wall-mounting holesUse these to mount this product to a wall (prepare two commercially
available screws).
•Space between the left and right wall-mounting holes: 90 mm
•Distance from the wall to the bottom of the screw head: 2 mm or more
•Screw size (recommended)

When mounting this product to a wall, install it at a height of 2 m or below.
Select a screw length that matches the material and thickness of the wall.
Ricoh accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the product falling or other
secured properly after mounting so that it will not fall due to the weight of
the product main unit or cables.
Configuration Method 1 - Setup Using Configuration Mode
When your wireless router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), please start from Configuration Method 2 - Easy Configuration Using Smart Wireless Setup on the back.
Step 1 Start this product in Configuration Mode

Connect this product to the PC using the LAN cable that came
with this product.

Connect the AC adapter to this product, and the AC
adapter's plug to an electrical outlet.

When the POWER LED turns green and the WLAN LED turns on or blinks, press and hold the push switch on the front of this product.
In 5 seconds, the WLAN LED and STATUS LED will start to blink green together. Release the push switch then.
This product will start running in the Configuration Mode and be ready to configure from the PC that has been connected to this product via
a LAN cable.
*If wireless LAN is enabled on your PC, please disable it.

Step 2 Setup

The Web browser is started and the password configuration page
of this product is displayed.
Enter the password to set for this product and click .Submit
*Recommended Web browsers: Microsoft Edge / Safari.
*The login password configuration page is displayed only when this product is
configured for the first time.
* If the Web page is not displayed, enter “http://ricoh” in the address bar of the Web
browser and press the key.Enter
* If the Web page is still not displayed after entering “http://ricoh”, you need to check the
IP address of the PC connected to this product.
If a static IP address is configured to the PC, enter the PC’s address after adding 1 to
its last digit and press key.Enter

Enter the login password you have configured and click
Login.

The Web page of this product is displayed.

Click Easy Configuration at the top of the page.
Select the destination network from Wireless Network List and
enter the WEP Key or Shared Key for Network Key.
Click when finished.Submit
* If the destination network is not displayed in the , click Wireless Network List
Detailed Configuration at the top of the page.
In the page displayed, enter the wireless settings of the network that you wish to
connect this product to, and click the button.Submit
Refer to the HELP for details on each setting.

When the confirmation message is displayed, click
Restart to restart this product.
The configuration has now been completed.
Step3 Connect this product to the MFP/printer you wish to use wirelessly

Turn off the MFP/printer that you wish to use wirelessly and
connect it to this product using the LAN cable.

Connect the AC adapter to this product, and the AC adapter's plug to
an electrical outlet.

Turn on the MFP/printer connected to this product.
* Some MFPs/printers require additional network settings. In such
cases, refer to the manual that came with the MFP/printer.
* When turning on this product and the MFP/printer, be sure to turn on
this product first. Do not press the push switch then.
* This product does not have a power switch, so turn the power on/
off by plugging and unplugging the AC adapter into/from the power
outlet.
