WARNINGS

yLithium-ion batteries must be used and charged properly.

Improper use can result in serious injury, fi re, or death.

yNOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS. Do not

use this product in explosive atmospheres, near  ammable

liquids, or where explosion proof or intrinsically safe

lighting is required.

yDO NOT use this product in the proximity of vehicles or

equipment when there is a risk of  ammable liquids coming

into contact with the  ashlight.

yLight can become hot while on. To prevent damage

DO NOT cover or place next to any potentially  ammable

materials while in use.

yDo not leave the battery in direct sunlight or use or store

the battery inside cars in hot weather.

yDo not expose the battery to water or salt water, or allow

the battery to get wet.

yDo not store the battery with metallic objects that may

cause a short circuit.

yImmediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery

emits an unusual smell, feels hot, changes color, changes

shape or appears abnormal in any way.

yKeep out of the reach of children.

INITIAL USE

Fully charge the USB-588XL before the fi rst use, or if the

battery is new or has been unused for several months. The

maximum charge time required is approximately 6 hours.

CHARGING THE LIGHT

The USB Charging Port is inside of the rotating sleeve

located below the head of the light.

Open Rotating Sleeve

yExpose the USB Charging Port by twisting the sleeve

and rotating it to the left.

yContinue rotating the sleeve and slide it downward on

the handle.

Plug into USB port to charge

The light ships with a USB-C Charging Cable. It can be

charged using any of the following methods:

yUSB Port on a computer (NOTE: Charging times vary

depending on the computer)

yUSB port in vehicles

yUSB Vehicle charger for cigarette lighter port (not

included)

yUSB Compliant AC to DC USB wall charger similar to

ones used with most Cell Phones (not included)

The typical charge time is approximately 3 hours. Actual

time may vary depending on the remaining charge in the

battery and method of charging. Ambient temperature can

also effect charging time.

The charge indicator light located directly above the

charging port will turn red while the charging and green when

fully charged.

Close Rotating Sleeve

yCover the USB Charging Port by twisting the sleeve and

rotating it to the right.

yContinue rotating the sleeve and slide it upward on the

handle.

WARNING: When the Rotating Sleeve is open, the light is

no longer IP-X7 Waterproof

OPERATION

LIGHTING MODES:

Flashlight Modes - Tail Cap Switch

Momentary – Lightly press and hold, release to turn off

Constant On – Full press until it clicks. Press and click

to turn off

Select Brightness Level – Press and hold and the light

will cycle from high to medium to low and back at a rate

of approximately one mode per second. Relase to select

desired mode.

Floodlight Mode - Body Switch

Constant On – Full press until it clicks. Press and click

to turn off

Dual-Light Mode

Both the  ashlight and  oodlight can be turned on at the

same time. Pressing either switch will turn both lights off.

Battery Status Indicator

The light located on top of the bezel indicates when it is

time to replace the batteries:

Green - Normal operation

Red - Low power, battery capacity at or below 30%

CR-123 BATTERY CARRIER

The CR123 battery carrier converts the USB-588XL

from rechargeable Lithium-ion to non-rechargeable Lithium

battery operation.

Load two CR-123 Lithium batteries with the positive

terminals pointing in the direction of the arrow. NOTE: The

 ashlight cannot be charged with the CR-123 CARRIER

installed.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free

from defects in workmanship and materials for the original

purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes

the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries,

chargers, switches, electronics and included accessories are

warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase.

Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents,

misuse, abuse, faulty installation and lightning damage are

excluded.

We will repair or replace this product should we determine

it to be defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or

implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fi tness

for a particular purpose.

yNE PAS utiliser ce produit à proximité de véhicules ou

équipements quand il y a risque de liquides in ammables

entrant en contact avec la lampe de poche.

yLa lumière peut être chaude lorsqu’elle est allumée. Pour

éviter tout dommage NE PAS couvrir ou placer à proximité

de matériaux potentiellement in ammables pendant qu’elle

est allumée.

yCesser immédiatement d’utiliser la batterie si elle émet

une odeur inhabituelle, semble chaude, change de couleur

ou de forme ou paraît anormal.

yGarder hors de la portée des enfants.

UTILISATION INITIALE

Chargez la USB-588XL à bloc avant la première

utilisation ou si la batterie est neuve ou n’a pas été utilisée

depuis plusieurs mois. La durée maximale de charge requise

est d’environ 4 heures.

CHARGEMENT DE LA LAMPE

Le port USB pour le chargement se trouve à l’intérieur de

l’anneau rotatif situé sous la tête de la lampe.

Ouvrir l’anneau rotatif

yExposer le port USB pour le chargement en appuyant sur

l’anneau et en le tournant vers la gauche.

yContinuer à tourner l’anneau et le faire glisser vers le bas

du manche de la lampe.

Brancher le câble dans le port USB pour charger la lampe

La lampe est équipée d’un port USB-C et d’un câble

USB-C pour le chargement. Elle peut être chargée selon les

méthodes suivantes :

yPort USB sur un ordinateur (Remarque : le temps de

chargement varie selon l’ordinateur)

yPort USB dans les véhicules

yChargeur USB pour port allume-cigare (non compris)

yChargeur mural USB conforme à la norme CA/CC USB

semblable à celui utilisé pour la plupart des téléphones

cellulaires (non compris)

La durée de charge habituelle est d’environ 3 heures. La

durée de charge peut varier selon la charge restante dans

la batterie et les méthodes de chargement. La température

ambiante peut également affecter la durée de charge.

Le voyant lumineux de charge, situé directement au-

dessus du port de charge, passera au rouge lorsque la

lampe est en chargement et au vert lorsque la lampe est

complètement chargée.

Fermer l’anneau rotatif

yCouvrir le port USB pour le chargement en appuyant sur

l’anneau et en le tournant vers la droite.

yContinuer à tourner l’anneau et le faire glisser vers le

haut du manche de la lampe.

EST OUVERT, LA LAMPE N’EST PLUS ÉTANCHE
