SAFETY LIGHT / FLASHLIGHT. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

Please read these instructions before using your safety light / ashlight. Be sure to

charge the work light before the rst use.

yCAUTION: Do not use this work light in explosive atmospheres, near ammable

liquids, or where explosion-proof lamps are required. Do not immerse in water.

yCAUTION: For light duty work only.

CHARGING

INITIAL USE

Fully charge the safety light / ashlight before the rst use. If the battery is new or has

been unused for several months, several charge and discharge cycles may be needed

to reach full battery capacity. Each charge cycle will extend the operation time until

maximum capacity is achieved. The charge time for maximum capacity is approximately

8 hours.

WARNING: Do not fully deplete the battery. Doing so will result in permanent

damage to the battery and it will not accept a charge.

REGULAR USE

yUse only the supplied AC or DC charging adapter.

yFor best performance, charge the safety light / ashlight when the LED’s start to dim.

yConnect the AC power adapter to the light. The red indicator will light.

yThe red light indicates the safety light / ashlight is being charged. The red light

remains on until the battery is fully charged. At full charge, the light turns off. The total

time to full charge varies depending on the remaining charge in the battery pack.

yKeep the safety light / ashlight plugged into the charger to maintain a trickle charge.

TIPS TO EXTEND BATTERY LIFE

yThe safety light / ashlight Lithium-ion internal battery does not have any recharge

memory effect. Charging the safety light / ashlight often helps extend its useful life.

yA new safety light / ashlight or one that has not been used for a long period of time

may not accept a full charge initially. This is normal and does not indicate a problem.

As the battery pack capacity increases the charge time shortens.

yCharge the unit after each use.

yStore the safety light / ashlight at room temperature.

OPERATION

TURNING THE SAFETY LIGHT / FLASHLIGHT ON/OFF

All models have two body switches that control the ashlight and the safety light.

The ashlight and safety light functions can be operated independently and together.

MODES

yThe upper switch controls the ashlight. Lightly press the switch for momentary

ashlight operation. For constant on, press the switch until it clicks. Press again for off.

yThe lower switch controls the safety light. Press for constant (non-ashing) safety

light. Press again to activate alternating strobe. Press again for off.

CLEANING

yDisconnect the light from the power source

yWipe with a clean dry soft cloth

yDo not use any solvent or abrasive cleaners

WARRANTY

1 YEAR WARRANTY

Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship

and materials to the original purchaser for 1 year from the date of purchase, and includes

the LEDs, housing, lenses, electronics, switches, rechargeable batteries and chargers.

Bulbs (other than LEDs) are covered for 90 days from the date of purchase.

We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the

only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or tness for

a particular purpose.

yATTENTION : Ne pas utiliser cette lampe de travail dans des atmosphères

explosives, près des liquides inammables, ou des emplacements où des lampes

antidéagrantes sont requises. Ne pas immerger dans l’eau.

CHARGEMENT

UTILISATION INITIALE

Charger complètement la lampe de sécurité/ lampe de poche avant la première

utilisation. Pour atteindre un rendement maximal, utiliser la lampe jusqu’à ce que la pile

soit complètement déchargée et puis recharger. Chaque cycle de charge prolongera la

durée de fonctionnement jusqu’à ce que la capacité maximale soit atteinte. Le temps de

charge pour une puissance maximale est d’environ 8 heures.

AVERTISSEMENT: Ne pas entièrement appauvrissent la batterie. Si vous

le faites, vous risquez d’endommager la batterie et il ne sera pas accepter une

charge.

UTILISATION RÉGULIÈRE

yUtiliser uniquement l’adaptateur c.a. ou c.c. fourni.

yPour un meilleur rendement, charger la lampe de sécurité/ lampe de poche lorsque

l’ampoule DEL commence à faiblir.

yBrancher l’adaptateur c.a. à la lampe. Le voyant lumineux rouge s’allumera.

yLa lumière rouge indique que la lampe de sécurité/ lampe de poche est en mode

chargement. Le voyant lumineux reste allumé jusqu’à ce que la pile soit complètement

chargée. Lorsque le chargement est complété, le voyant rouge s’éteint. Le temps total

de chargement varie selon la charge restante dans le bloc-piles.

yGarder la lampe de sécurité/ lampe de poche branchée dans le chargeur pour

maintenir un cycle de charge d’entretien.

CONSEILS POUR PROLONGER LA DURÉE DE VIE DES PILES

yLa batterie interne au lithium-ion de la lampe de sécurité/ lampe de poche n’a pas

de mémoire de recharge. Charger la lampe de sécurité/ lampe de poche souvent aide

à prolonger sa durée de vie.

yUne nouvelle lampe de sécurité/ lampe de poche ou une qui n’a pas été utilisée

pendant une longue période de temps peut ne pas accepter initialement une charge
