Inserting the batteries B(image )

1. Open the battery compartment A5.

2. Place the batteries.

3. Close A5.

Setting the time and date

1. Press and hold the start button A

7 and the memory button A6 simultaneously for two

seconds.

The time format starts to blink. The product is now in time format adjustment mode.

4If no button is pressed for 60 seconds, the product exits time and date adjustment mode.

2. Press A6 to change the time format.

3. Press A7 to conrm.

The product is now in year adjustment mode.

4. Press A6 to adjust the number.

5. Press A7 to conrm.

The product is now in month adjustment mode.

6. Repeat steps 4 – 5 to set the month, date, hour and minutes.

Connecting the cu

1. Insert the rubber air tube A3 into the air tube connector A4.

4The connector must be completely inserted to prevent air leakage during blood pressure

measurements.

Applying the cu

1. Place the cu A2around a bare upper arm.

4A2 must be placed 1-2 cm above the elbow joint.

2. Choose an arm to measure on. Always measure on the same arm.

4If A2 is applied on the left arm, A3 must be on the inside of the arm, aligned with the

middle nger.

4If A2 is applied on the right arm, A3 must be at the side of the elbow.

4A2 should be tight but comfortable. It should be possible to insert a nger between the

arm and A2.

Body posture during measurement

Sitting down

1. Sit down.

2. Put your feet at on the oor.

3. Place your hand on a at surface with the palm up.

4Do not rest your arm on A3. This may restrict the airow to A

4. Position your arm so A2 is at the same height as your heart.

5. Sit calmly for 5 minutes before starting the blood pressure measurement.

Lying down

1. Lie on your back.

2. Place your arm straight along your side with the palm up.

3. Position your arm so A2 is at the same height as your heart.

4. Lie calmly for 5 minutes before starting the blood pressure measurement.

Measuring blood pressure

1. Press A7.

6. Press A6 to show the most recent measurements.

7. Press A6 repeatedly to show the previous measurements.

8. Press A7 to switch o the display manually.

Deleting measurements from the memory

1. When the display shows a measurement, press and hold A

6 for three seconds to delete

all measurements in the current memory bank.

Technical alarm

If the measured blood pressure is outside the rated range, the display shows ‘Hi’ or ‘Lo’ as

technical alarm.

1. Check if the measurement was performed correctly.

2. If the measurement was performed correctly, consult your physician.

Open het batterijcompartiment A5. 2. Plaats de batterijen. 3. Sluit A5. De tijd en datum instellen 1. Houd de startknop A7 en de geheugenknop A6 tegelijkertijd twee seconden lang ingedrukt. Het tijdformaat begint te knipperen. Het product staat nu in de tijdinstelmodus. 4Als er 60 seconden lang geen toets wordt ingedrukt, verlaat het product de tijd- en datuminstelmodus. 2. Druk op A6 om het tijdformaat te veranderen. 3. Druk op A7 om te bevestigen. Het product staat nu in de jaarinstelmodus. 4. Druk op A6 om het getal aan te passen. 5. Druk op A7 om te bevestigen. Het product staat nu in de maandinstelmodus. 6. Herhaal de stappen 4 – 5 om de maand, de datum, het uur en de minuten in te stellen. De manchet aansluiten 1. Steek de rubberen luchtslang A3 in de luchtslangverbinding A4. 4De verbinding moet volledig zijn ingestoken om luchtlekkage tijdens bloeddrukmetingen te voorkomen.

De manchet aanbrengen 1. Plaats de manchet A2 om een blote bovenarm. 4A2 moet 1-2 cm boven het ellebooggewricht worden geplaatst. 2. Kies een arm om op te meten. Meet altijd op dezelfde arm.

4Als A2 op de linkerarm wordt aangebracht, moet A3 aan de binnenkant van de arm worden aangebracht, op één lijn met de middelvinger. 4Als A2 op de rechterarm wordt aangebracht, moet A3 aan de zijkant van de elleboog worden aangebracht. 4A2 moet strak maar comfortabel zitten. Het moet mogelijk zijn om een vinger tussen de arm en A2 te stoppen. Lichaamshouding tijdens de metingZittend 1. Ga zitten. 2. Zet uw voeten plat op de grond. 3. Plaats uw hand op een vlakke ondergrond met de palm naar boven. 4Laat uw arm niet rusten op A3. Dit kan de luchtstroom naar A2 beperken. 4. Plaats uw arm zodat A2 zich op dezelfde hoogte bevindt als uw hart. 5. Blijf 5 minuten rustig zitten voordat u begint met het meten van de bloeddruk. Liggend 1. Ga op uw rug liggen. 2. Leg uw arm recht langs uw zij met de palm naar boven. 3. Plaats uw arm zodat A2 zich op dezelfde hoogte bevindt als uw hart. 4.

Blijf 5 minuten rustig liggen voordat u begint met het meten van de bloeddruk. De bloeddruk meten 1. Druk op A7. 4Alle symbolen - A8 tot Ay - worden op het display weergegeven. Als niet alle symbolen zichtbaar zijn, neem dan contact op met het servicecentrum. De huidige geheugengroep begint te knipperen op de plaats van At. 4Geheugengroepen kunnen worden gebruikt om metingen voor meerdere personen op hetzelfde apparaat op te slaan. 2. Druk op A6 om van geheugengroep te wisselen. 3. Druk op A7 om te bevestigen. 4De geheugengroep wordt ook automatisch bevestigd na 5 seconden inactiviteit. Het display toont de meest recente metingen. Als er geen metingen in de geheugengroep zijn opgeslagen, toont het display nullen. Het product begint te zoeken naar de nuldruk. A2 wordt opgepompt tot er voldoende druk is opgebouwd voor een meting.

A2 laat langzaam lucht vrij terwijl de meting wordt uitgevoerd. De resultaten worden op het display weergegeven. 4De metingen worden automatisch opgeslagen. 4. Druk op A7 om het display handmatig uit te zetten.

4Het display zal automatisch uitschakelen nadat deze 1 minuut niet gebruikt is. Metingen uit het geheugen lezen 1. Druk op A6. De huidige geheugengroep wordt weergegeven op de plaats van At. 2. Druk op A7 om van geheugengroep te wisselen. 3. Druk op A6 om te bevestigen. 4De geheugengroep wordt ook automatisch bevestigd na 5 seconden inactiviteit. Het display toont de gemiddelde waarden van alle metingen in de huidige geheugengroep. Als er geen metingen in de geheugengroep zijn opgeslagen, toont het display nullen. 4. Druk op A6 om de gemiddelde waarden van de laatste drie metingen in de huidige geheugengroep weer te geven. 5. Druk op A6 om het aantal metingen in de huidige geheugengroep weer te geven. 6. Druk op A6 om de meest recente metingen te tonen. 7. Druk herhaaldelijk op A6 om de vorige metingen te tonen. 8. Druk op A7 om het display handmatig uit te zetten.

4Het display zal automatisch uitschakelen nadat deze 1 minuut niet gebruikt is. Metingen uit het geheugen wissen 1. Wanneer het display een meting toont, houd A6 drie seconden lang ingedrukt om alle metingen in de huidige geheugenbank te wissen. Technisch alarmAls de gemeten bloeddruk buiten het nominale bereik valt, toont het display 'Hi' of 'Lo' als technisch alarm. 1. Controleer of de meting correct werd uitgevoerd. 2. Als de meting correct werd uitgevoerd, raadpleeg dan uw arts.
