2-Wire Transmission Set for Audio Signals
These instructions are intended for installers with the
corresponding technical knowledge in audio technol-
ogy. Please read the instructions carefully prior to instal-
lation and keep them for later use.
1 Applications
This passive transmission set allows transmission of audio sig-
nals via twisted telephone cables or CAT 5 network cables.
The maximum length of the connection cable is 1000 m.
2 Important Notes
The transmission set corresponds to all relevant directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with .
• The transmission set is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water, splash water and high air humid-
ity. The admissible ambient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.
• For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use water or
chemicals.
• No guarantee claims for the transmission set and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the transmission set is used for other
purposes than originally intended or if it is not correctly
connected.
If the transmission set is to be put out of oper-
ation definitively, dispose of the transmission set
in accordance with local regulations.
3 Connection
Connect the transmission units to the transmission cable and
to the audio units according to the figure (example for con-
nection with a preamplifier and a power amplifier). The pair
of wires of the audio transmission line should be twisted to
ensure a higher resistance to interference.

2-Draht-Übertragungsset für Audiosignale
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit Fach-
kenntnissen in der Audiotechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die An-
leitung vor der Installation gründlich durch und heben
Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Mit diesem passiven Übertragungsset lassen sich Audio-
signale über verdrillte Telefonleitungen oder CAT-5-Netz-
werkkabel leiten. Die Länge des Verbindungskabels kann
max. 1000 m betragen.
2 Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Übertragungsset entspricht allen relevanten Richt-
linien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
• Verwenden Sie das Übertragungsset nur im Innenbereich
und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser sowie vor
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit. Der zulässige Einsatztemperatur-
bereich beträgt 0 – 40 °C.
• Verwenden Sie zum Säubern nur ein trockenes, weiches
Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.
• Wird das Übertragungsset zweckentfremdet oder nicht
richtig angeschlossen, kann keine Haftung für daraus resul-
tierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie
für das Übertragungsset übernommen werden.
Soll das Übertragungsset endgültig aus dem Be-
trieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie es gemäß
den örtlichen Vorschriften.
3 Anschluss
Die Übertragungseinheiten entsprechend der Abbildung (Bei-
spiel mit einem Vorverstärker und einem Leistungsverstärker)
an das Übertragungskabel und an die Audiogeräte anschlie-
ßen. Das Aderpaar der Audioübertragungs leitung sollte ver-
drillt sein, um eine höhere Störfestigkeit zu erreichen.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs avec des connais-
sances techniques en audio. Veuillez lire la présente
notice avec attention avant l’installation et conservez-la
pour pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Avec ce set de transmission passif, les signaux audio peuvent
être transmis via des câbles téléphone torsadés ou des câbles
réseau CAT 5. La longueur maximale du câble de connexion
est de 1000 m.
2 Conseils importants
Le set de transmission répond à toutes les directives néces-
saires de l’Union européenne et porte donc le symbole .
• Le set de transmission n’est conçu que pour une utilisation
en intérieur. Protégez-le des éclaboussures, de tout type de
projections d’eau et d’une humidité d’air élevée. La plage
de température ambiante admissible est de 0 – 40 °C.
• Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un tissu sec et doux,
en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
• Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages
corporels ou matériels résultants si le set de transmission
est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été
conçu ou si il n’est pas correctement branché ; en outre, la
garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque le set de transmission est définitivement
retiré du service, éliminez-le conformément aux
directives locales.
3 Branchement
Reliez les unités de transmission en fonction du schéma
(exemple avec un préamplificateur et un amplificateur de
puissance) au câble de transmission et aux appareils audio.
La paire de conducteurs de la ligne de transmission audio
devrait être torsadée pour atteindre une meilleure résistance
aux interférences.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori con relative
conoscenze nella tecnica audio. Vi preghiamo di leggere
attentamente le presenti istruzioni prima dell’installa-
zione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d'impiego
Con questo set passivo di trasmissione è possibile traspor-
tare segnali audio attraverso cavi telefonici twistati oppure
attraverso cavi per network CAT 5. La lunghezza del cavo di
collegamento può essere di 1000 m max.
2 Note importanti
Il set di trasmissione è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
• Usare il set di trasmissione solo all’interno di locali e pro-
teggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi d’acqua,
nonché da alta umidità dell’aria. La temperatura d’eserci-
zio ammessa è 0 – 40 °C.
• Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto; non
impiegare in nessun caso acqua o prodotti chimici.
• Nel caso d’uso improprio o di collegamenti sbagliati del set
di trasmissione, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e non si
assume nessuna garanzia per il set di trasmissione.
Se il set di trasmissione deve essere messo defini-
tivamente fuori servizio, smaltire il set di trasmis-
sione in conformità con le normative locali
3 Collegamento
Collegare le unità di trasmissione con il cavo di trasmissione
e con gli apparecchi audio come illustrato (esempio con un
preamplificatore e un amplificatore di potenza). La coppia di
fili del cavo di trasmissione audio dovrebbe essere twistata
per raggiungere una maggiore resistenza alle interferenze.
