Horn Speaker

These instructions are intended for installers with

sufﬁcient knowledge in 100 V technology for PA appli-

cations. Please read the instructions carefully prior to

installation and keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

These high-efﬁciency speakers are designed for PA systems.

The models IT-… are ideally suited for PA systems that work

with 100 V technology and the models NR-33KS and UHC-30

for audio systems that are operated with 8 Ω speakers. Due to

their weatherproof cabinets, the speakers are also suitable for

outdoor applications (protection of housing IP 66).

2 Important Notes

The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU

and is therefore marked with .

• Protect the speaker against very high or low temperatures

(admissible ambient temperature range: –20 °C to +50 °C).

• For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp;

never use chemicals or aggressive detergents.

• No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability for

any resulting personal damage or material damage will be

accepted if the speaker is used for other purposes than

originally intended, if it is not expertly installed or if it is

overloaded.

If the speaker is to be put out of operation

deﬁnitively, take it to a local recycling plant for

a disposal which is not harmful to the environ-

ment.

3 Mounting

Use the mounting bracket to fasten the speaker in an expert

manner at a suitable place. To adjust the speaker, release

the two lateral screws, position the speaker as desired, then

retighten the screws.

4 Electrical Connection

WARNING For models IT-…, there is a hazard of contact

with a voltage of up to 100 V at the connec-

tion cable during operation. Installation must

be made by skilled personnel only!

For the models IT-…, observe the load of the PA ampliﬁer

by the speakers. An overload may damage the ampliﬁer!

The total power of all speakers connected must not exceed

the ampliﬁer power.

1) Prior to connecting the speaker, switch off the ampliﬁer to

which the speaker is to be connected!

2) For the models IT-…, use a screwdriver to adjust the de-

sired power rating with the rotary switch on the rear side.

3) Connect the speaker to the speaker output of the ampli-

ﬁer. When connecting several speakers, make sure that all

speakers have the same polarity (black core = negative

pole) and that the ampliﬁer is not overloaded.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possédant des

connaissances sufﬁsantes en technique de sonorisation

ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la présente notice avec atten-

tion avant l‘installation et conservez-la pour pouvoir

vous y reporter ultérieurement.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Ces haut-parleurs avec un rendement élevé sont conçus

pour une utilisation dans des installations de sonorisation.

Les modèles IT-… sont spécialement conﬁgurés pour les

installations de Public Adress fonctionnant en ligne 100 V,

les modèles NR-33KS et UHC-30 pour les installations audio

fonctionnant avec des haut-parleurs 8 Ω. Ces haut-parleurs

peuvent être utilisés en extérieur grâce à leurs boîtiers résis-

tants aux intempéries (protection de boîtier IP 66).

2 Conseils importants d’utilisation

Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de

l’Union Européenne et porte donc le symbole .

• Protégez le haut-parleur d’une grande chaleur ou d’un

grand froid (plage de température de fonctionnement

autorisée : –20 °C à +50 °C).

• Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon doux,

sec ou légèrement humide, n’utilisez jamais de produits

chimiques ou de détergents agressifs.

• Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages

matériels ou corporels résultants si le haut-parleur est uti-

lisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été conçu,

s’il n’est pas correctement installé ou s’il y a surcharge ; en

outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

Lorsque le haut-parleur est déﬁnitivement retiré

du service, vous devez le déposer dans une usine

de recyclage adaptée pour contribuer à son élimi-

nation non polluante.

3 Montage

Avec l’étrier de montage, fixez correctement le haut-parleur à

l’endroit voulu. Pour l’orienter, desserrez les deux vis latérales,

inclinez le haut-parleur à votre convenance et revissez les vis.

4 Branchement électrique

SEMENT

Sur les modèles IT-…, une tension de contact

dangereuse jusqu’à 100 V est présente au

câble de branchement pendant le fonction-

nement. Seul un personnel qualiﬁé peut ef-

fectuer l’installation !

Sur les modèles IT-…, faites attention à la charge de l’am-

pliﬁcateur PA par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut

endommager l’ampliﬁcateur. La somme des puissances de

l’ensemble des enceintes reliées ne doit pas dépasser la

puissance de l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Avant le branchement, éteignez l’ampliﬁcateur auquel le

haut-parleur doit être relié !

2) Sur les modèles IT-…, réglez la puissance nominale sou-

haitée avec le sélecteur sur la face arrière. Utilisez pour ce

faire un tournevis.

3) Reliez le haut-parleur à la sortie haut-parleur de l’ampli-

ﬁcateur. Si vous branchez plusieurs haut-parleurs, veillez

à ce que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même polarité

(conducteur noir = pôle moins) et que l’ampliﬁcateur ne

soit pas en surcharge. Tout droit de modiﬁcation réservé.

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit Fach-

kenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschallungstechnik. Bitte

lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Installation gründlich

durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Diese Lautsprecher mit hohem Wirkungsgrad sind für den

Einsatz in Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert. Die Modelle IT-…

sind speziell für ELA-Anlagen ausgelegt, die mit 100-V-Tech-

nik arbeiten und die Modelle NR-33KS und UHC-30 speziell

für Audioanlagen, die mit 8-Ω-Lautsprechern betrieben wer-

den. Durch die wetterfesten Gehäuse sind die Lautsprecher

auch im Außenbereich einsetzbar (Gehäuseschutzart IP 66).

2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch

Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der

EU und und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.

• Schützen Sie den Lautsprecher vor großer Hitze und Kälte

(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich –20 °C bis 50 °C).

• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes oder

leicht angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Che-

mikalien oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel.

• Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fachgerecht

installiert oder überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus

resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Ga-

rantie für den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem Betrieb

genommen werden, übergeben Sie ihn zur um-

weltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recy-

clingbetrieb.

3 Montage

Den Lautsprecher mit dem Montagebügel an geeigneter Stelle

fachgerecht befestigen. Um ihn auszurichten, die zwei seit-

lichen Schrauben lockern, den Lautsprecher wie gewünscht

schwenken und die Schrauben wieder festdrehen.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss

WARNUNG Bei den Modellen IT-… liegt im Betrieb be-

rührungsgefährliche Spannung bis 100 V an

der Anschlussleitung an. Die Installation darf

nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen!

Achten Sie bei den Modellen IT-… auf die Belastung des

ELA-Verstärkers durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung

kann den Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leis-

tungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Ver-

stärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.

1) Vor dem Anschluss den Verstärker, an den der Lautsprecher

angeschlossen werden soll, ausschalten!

2) Bei den Modellen IT-… die gewünschte Nennleistung mit

dem Drehschalter auf der Rückseite einstellen. Dazu einen

Schraubendreher zur Hilfe nehmen.

3) Den Lautsprecher an den Lautsprecherausgang des Ver-

stärkers anschließen. Beim Anschluss von mehreren Laut-

sprechern darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich

gepolt werden (schwarze Ader = Minuspol) und dass der

Verstärker nicht überlastet wird. Änderungen vorbehalten.

Głośnik tubowy

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalatorów po-

siadających wiedzę w zakresie systemów PA pracują-

cych w technice 100 V. Przed rozpoczęciem użytkowania

proszę zapoznać się z instrukcją, a następnie zachować

ją do wglądu.

1 Zastosowanie

Głośniki IT-20, IT-30, IT-35, NR-33KS oraz UHC-30, charak-

teryzujące się wysoką skutecznością akustyczną, znajdują

zastosowanie w systemach radiowęzłowych. Modele IT-… są

przeznaczone do zastosowania w systemach radiowęzłowych

pracujących na liniach 100 V, natomiast modele NR-33KS i

UHC-30 do systemów audio pracujących z głośnikami 8 Ω.

Obudowa wykonana z tworzywa odpornego na działanie

czynników atmosferycznych umożliwia zastosowanie głośni-

ków na zewnątrz (szczelność obudowy IP 66).

2 Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania

Ponieważ urządzenie spełnia wymogi norm obowiązujących

w Unii Europejskiej, jest oznaczone symbolem .

• Urządzenie należy chronić przed działaniem bardzo wyso-

kich oraz bardzo niskich temperatur (dopuszczalna tempe-

ratura otoczenia –20 °C do +50 °C).

• Do czyszczenia urządzenia należy używać suchej, miękkiej

tkaniny; nie wolno stosować wody ani środków czyszczą-

cych.

• Producent ani dostawca nie ponoszą odpowiedzialności za

wynikłe szkody (uszkodzenie sprzętu lub obrażenia użyt-

kownika), jeśli urządzenie jest używane niezgodnie z prze-

znaczeniem, lub jeśli zostało nieprawidłowo zainstalowane

bądź nastąpiło jego przeciążenie.

Jeśli urządzenie p2-ma zostać ostatecznie wycofane

z użycia, należy przekazać je do punktu utylizacji

odpadów, aby uniknąć zanieczyszczenia środo-

wiska.

3 Montaż urządzenia

Za pomocą uchwytu montażowego należy przymocować gło-

śnik w żądanym miejscu. Aby ustawić głośnik w optymalnej

pozycji, należy poluzować obie śruby boczne, następnie wy-

brać odpowiednie położenie głośnika i dokręcić śruby.

4 Podłączenie urządzenia

UWAGA

(dotyczy modeli IT-…) podczas pracy urzą-

dzenia na przyłączu linii występuje napięcie

osiągające do 100 V, które stanowi poten-

cjalne zagrożenie dla zdrowia lub życia. Pod-

łączenie urządzenia należy zlecić specjaliście!

(dotyczy modeli IT-…) Szczególną uwagę należy zwrócić na

odpowiedni dobór mocy głośnika do mocy wzmacniacza.

Niedopasowanie mocowe może spowodować przeciążenie

wzmacniacza i w konsekwencji jego uszkodzenie. Sumaryczna

moc głosników, nie może przekraczać mocy wzmacniacza.

1) Przed rozpoczęciem podłączania głośnika należy wyłączyć

wzmacniacz, do którego p2-ma być podłączony głośnik!

2) Dotyczy modeli IT-…: należy ustawić żądaną wartość mocy

znamionowej głośnika za pomocą regulatora, znajdującego

się w tylnej części urządzenia (przy użyciu śrubokrętu).

3) Należy podłączyć głośnik do wyjścia głośnikowego we

wzmacniaczu. Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników, należy

upewnić się, czy wszystkie głośniki mają odpowiednią biegu-

nowość (czarny rdzeń = biegun ujemny) i czy wzmacniacz nie

został przeciążony. Z zastrzeżeniem do możliwych zmian.

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instaladores con un

conocimiento suﬁciente sobre la tecnología de 100 V en

aplicaciones para megafonía. Lea atentamente estas

instrucciones antes de la instalación y guárdelas para

usos posteriores.

1 Aplicaciones

Estos altavoces de gran eﬁciencia están diseñados para

sistemas de megafonía. Los modelos IT-… son ideales para

sistemas de megafonía que funcionen con una tecnología de

100 V y los modelos NR-33KS y UHC-30 para sistemas audio

utilizados con altavoces de 8 Ω. Gracias a sus recintos resis-

tentes a la intemperie, los altavoces también están indicados

para usos en exterior (protección de la carcasa IP 66).

2 Notas Importantes

El altavoz corresponde a todas las directivas relevantes de la

UE y por ello está marcado con .

• Proteja el altavoz de las temperaturas extremadamente altas

o bajas (temperatura de ambiente admisible –20 °C a 50 °C).

• Utilice sólo un paño suave, seco o ligeramente húmedo,

para la limpieza; no utilice nunca ni productos químicos ni

detergentes agresivos.

• No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad alguna por

cualquier daño personal o material resultante si el altavoz

se utiliza para otros ﬁnes diferentes a los originalmente

concebidos, si no se instala correctamente o si se sobre-

carga.

Si va a poner el altavoz deﬁnitivamente fuera de

servicio, llévelo a la planta de reciclaje más cer-

cana para que su eliminación no sea perjudicial

para el medioambiente.

3 Montaje

Utilice el soporte de montaje para sujetar el altavoz de

manera experta en un lugar adecuado. Para ajustar el alta-

voz, sue lte los dos tornillos laterales, coloque el altavoz como

desee, luego vuelva a apretar los tornillos.

4 Conexión eléctrica

ADVERTENCIA Para los modelos IT-…, existe un riesgo de

contacto con un voltaje de hasta 100 V en

el cable de conexión durante el funciona-

miento. ¡Sólo un técnico debe realizar la

instalación!

Para los modelos IT-…, preste atención a la carga del am-

pliﬁcador de megafonía con los altavoces. ¡Una sobrecarga

podría dañar el ampliﬁcador! La carga total de todos los

altavoces conectados no puede exceder la potencia del

ampliﬁcador.

1) ¡Antes de conectar el altavoz, apague el ampliﬁcador al

que el altavoz tiene que ser conectado!

2) Para los modelos IT-…, utilice un destornillador para ajus-

tar la potenica nominal deseada con el interruptor rotato-

rio en la parte trasera.

3) Conecte el altavoz a la salida de altavoz del ampliﬁcador.

Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese de que todos

los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad (conductor negro

= polo negativo) y que el ampliﬁcador no está sobrecar-

gado. Sujeto a modiﬁcaciones técnicas.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che pos-

siedono delle conoscenze speciﬁche sufﬁcienti della

tecnica di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di leg-

gerle attentamente prima dell‘installazione e di conser-

varle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questi altoparlanti ad alto rendimento sono stati realizzati

per l’impiego in impianti di sonorizzazione. I modelli IT-…

sono previsti in modo particolare per gli impianti PA che la-

vorano con uscita audio 100 V, e i modelli NR-33KS e UHC-30

per gli impianti audio che usano altoparlanti di 8 Ω. Grazie

ai contenitori resistenti alle intemperie, gli altoparlanti pos-

sono essere usati anche all’esterno (grado di protezione del

contenitore IP 66).

2 Avvertenze importanti per l’uso

Questi altoparlanti sono conformi a tutte le direttive rilevanti

dell’UE e pertanto portano la sigla .

• Proteggere l’altoparlante dal forte calore e dal freddo (tem-

peratura d’impiego ammessa fra –20 °C e 50 °C).

• Per la pulizia usare solo un panno asciutto o leggermente

inumidito, morbido; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti

chimici o detergenti aggressivi.

• Nel caso d’uso improprio, di installazione non a regola

d’arte o di sovraccarico dell’altoparlante, non si assume

nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali

a persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per

l’altoparlante.

Se si desidera eliminare l’altoparlante deﬁnitiva-

mente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’isti-

tuzione locale per il riciclaggio.

3 Montaggio

Avvitare l’altoparlante a regola d’arte in un punto adatto, ser-

vendosi della staffa di montaggio. Per orientarlo allentare le

due viti laterali, girare l’altoparlante e stringere nuovamente

le viti.

4 Collegamento elettrico

AVVERTIMENTO

Nei modelli IT-…, il cavo di collegamento

presenta durante il funzionamento una

tensione pericolosa ﬁno a 100 V. L’instal-

lazione dev’essere eseguita solo da una

persona esperta!

Nei modelli IT-…, tener presente anche la potenza dell’am-

pliﬁcatore rispetto agli altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico può

danneggiare l’ampliﬁcatore! La somma delle potenze di

tutti gli altoparlanti collegati non deve superare la potenza

dell’ampliﬁcatore.

1) Prima di eseguire il collegamento, spegnere completa-

mente l’ampliﬁcatore al quale va collegato l’altoparlante!

2) Nei modelli IT-…, impostare la potenza nominale desiderata

con la manopola posta sul retro, servendosi di un cacciavite.

3) Collegare l’altoparlante con l’uscita altoparlanti dell’am-

pliﬁcatore. Nel caso di collegamento di più altoparlanti

fare attenzione all’identica polarità di tutti gli altoparlanti

(conduttore nero = negativo) e di non sovraccaricare l’am-

pliﬁcatore. Con riserva di modiﬁche tecniche.
