1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Dieses Schwanenhalsmikrofon ist speziell für den

Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert sowie für wei-

tere Anwendungen, bei denen ein feststehendes

Mikrofon für Durchsagen, Vorträge oder sonstige

Sprachübertragung benötigt wird.

Die zum Betrieb erforderliche Speisespan-

nung erhält das Mikrofon über das angeschlos-

sene Audiogerät, d.h. der Mikrofoneingang am

Audiogerät muss über eine Phantomspeisung

(9– 48V) verfügen.

2Hinweise für den sicheren

Gebrauch

Das Mikrofon entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien

der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

GSetzen Sie das Mikrofon nur im Innenbereich

ein und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritz-

wasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu -

lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0– 40°C).

GVerwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trocke-

nes, weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder

Wasser.

GWird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, falsch an-

geschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert,

kann keine Garantie für das Mikrofon und keine

Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder

Personenschäden übernommen werden.

3 Inbetriebnahme

1)Das Mikrofon auf einen symmetrischen XLR-

Mikrofoneingang des Audiogerätes (z.B.

Mischpult, Verstärker) aufstecken. Der Mikro-

foneingang muss mit einer Phan tomspeisung

von 9– 48Vausgestattet sein, anderenfalls

ist kein Mikrofonbetrieb möglich.

2)Den Schwanenhals des Mikrofons wie ge-

wünscht ausrichten.

3)Sobald die Betriebsspannung am Mikrofon an-

liegt, leuchtet der rote Ring und das Mikrofon

ist funktionsbereit.

Soll das Mikrofon endgültig aus dem Be-

trieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie

es zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung

einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

Gooseneck microphone

Please read these operating instructions carefully

prior to operation and keep them for later use.

1 Applications

This gooseneck microphone is specially designed

for application in PA systems and other applica-

tions requiring a fixed microphone for announce-

ments, lectures, or other occasions where speech

is transmitted.

The microphone receives the supply voltage re-

quired for the operation via the connected audio

unit, i.e. the microphone input on the audio unit

must be provided with a phantom power (9–48V).

2Safety Notes

The microphone corresponds to all relevant direc-

tives of the EU and is therefore marked with .

GThe microphone is suitable for indoor use only.

Protect it against dripping water and splash

water, high air humidity, and heat (admissible

ambient temperature range 0– 40°C).

GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use

chemicals or water.

GNo guarantee claims for the microphone or lia-

bility for any resulting personal damage or ma-

terial damage will be accepted if the microphone

is used for other pur poses than originally in-

tended, if it is not correct ly connected or not re-

paired in an expert way.

3Setting into Operation

1)Connect the microphone to a balanced XLR

microphone input of the audio unit (e.g. mixer,

amplifier). The microphone input must be

equipped with a phantom power of 9– 48V,

otherwise no microphone op er ation will be pos-

sible.

2)Adjust the gooseneck of the microphone as

desired.

3)As soon as the operating voltage is fed to the

microphone, the red ring lights up, and the

microphone is ready for operation.

If the microphone is to be put out of oper-

ation definitively, take it to a local recy-

cling plant for a disposal which is not

harmful to the environment.
