Depending on the antenna used, you must set its gain and set the installation setting to 'Outdoor'. This is to ensure that EIRP meets the limit set by the local

authorities. This is done in the Quickset, CPE menu.

First steps:

Open the cover;

Connect Ethernet cable from your computer to the Ethernet port;

Plug the device into the power source;

Download WinBox configuration tool;https://mt.lv/winbox

Default IP: 192.168.88.1, user name:and there is no password, or use

admin

Neighborstab and connect through MAC address(or, for some models, check

user and wireless passwords on the sticker);

Once connected configure the device, so it has an active Internet connection;https://mt.lv/configuration

Upgrade the RouterOS software to the latest version;https://mt.lv/upgrade

Connect again and in the QuickSet menu choose your country, to apply country regulation settings;

Set the antenna gain, depending on the antenna used;

set the installation setting to 'Outdoor';

Set up your wireless network password, the password must be at least eight symbols;

Set up your router password in the bottom field to the right and repeat it, it will be used to log in next time.
