Please read this manual carefully before using this device.

This device is not intended for medical use in hospitals: For

household use only.

Use the heating blanket as under blanket only:

- The device is only to be used with the original hand control FH 422.

Do not use if wet.

Before use, damp or wet heating blankets must

be dried thoroughly.

Do not use if folded.

Do not use if strongly creased.



Before each use of the heating blanket make sure that it is not

damaged.

It should not be used in case of visible damage of the

hand control, switches, plug or the heating blanket itself. Please

contact the manufacturer or authorised agent prior to any further use.

Do not use on a person incapable of movement, a baby, a

person insensitive to heat, or animals. Do not let children play

with the device.

Ensure that children do not use this device unsupervised. Chil-

dren under 8 years of age must not use this device unless a parent

or guardian has set the control to the lowest temperature setting 1.

This device may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people

who have reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or inade-

quate experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised

or have been instructed on how to use the device safely and have

understood the resulting dangers.

Do not insert pins or other sharp objects.

Do not cover the hand control! To ensure that the hand control

functions correctly, do not place it on or under the heating blanket

or cover it with other objects.

Make sure that the heating blanket and the cord does not get

trapped when used on an adjustable bed.

The cable should not be wound around the hand control.

If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, an authorised agent or similarly qualified

persons in order to avoid any hazards.

Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself. Special

tools are required to re-assemble the device.

This device emits very weak electrical and magnetic fields

which may disturb the function of your cardiac pacemaker.

Therefore, we recommend you to consult your physician and the

manufacturer of your cardiac pacemaker before using this device.

Allow the device to cool down before folding and storing it in

a dry place. Do not place heavy objects on it to prevent buckling.



Not suitable for children between 0-3 years!

Children under 3

years of age are unable to respond to overheating.

Electronic devices must be disposed of in accordance with the

locally applicable regulations, not with domestic waste.

1. How to Use a Microlife Heating Blanket

1. Beginning from the foot end spread out the heating blanket flat

onto the mattress.

2. After this, pull up the sheet over the bed as usual, so that the

heating blanket comes between the mattress and the sheet.

3. Make sure that the heating blanket is spread out flat without

any folds. Check this while making the bed again as the heating

blanket may only be used if it is spread out evenly.

4. Now you can switch on the heating blanket using the hand control.

Level 1 corresponds to minimal and level 6 to maximal heating. For

a comfortably warm bed: approx. 30 minutes before going to bed,

switch on the heating blanket to level 6 and cover it with a quilt.

After this reduce the heat to levels 1-3: This is especially suited for

the use during the entire night.

After 12 hours of continuous use, the heating blanket switches

off automatically,

however the indicator light will remain illuminated.

To reset the timer and start a new heating period, move the slider to

the off «0» position and then back to the desired heat setting.

6. Unplug the heating blanket when finished.

2. Cleaning Instructions

WARNING: Always unplug the power cable from the mains

socket before undertaking any cleaning of the product.

1. Detach the plug coupling (and therefore the switch) before starting

the wash cycle. Do not allow the hand control to get wet.

2. The heating blanket must not be dry-cleaned.

3. The heating blanket may be machine washed according to the

washing instructions given on the blanket label. Wash the

heating blanket at 40 °C using the gentle wash program for sensi-

tive textiles and a fine-fabric detergent.

4. For laundering put the heating blanket into a laundry bag.

5. Do not spin-dry or use a tumble-dryer.

6. Dry the heating blanket carefully. In order to do so, place it on a

clothesline or a rail. Do not attach using clothes pegs. Never

switch the device on for drying. Do not connect to the power

supply before the blanket is completely dry.

Frequent laundering leads to premature ageing. Wear and

tear as a consequence of frequent or incorrect laundering

is excluded from the guarantee.



Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children

without supervision.

guarantee covers the hand control, cable, and the heating blanket itself.

This guarantee does not cover incorrect use, accidents or damage

resulting from failure to follow instructions, or modifications to the device

not carried out by the manufacturer.

The guarantee is only valid upon presentation of the guarantee card

completed by the dealer.

Veuillez lire ce manuel attentivement avant d'utiliser ce produit.

Ce produit ne se destine pas à une application médicale en

milieu hospitalier. Il est réservé à un usage domestique.

Utilisez la couverture chauffante comme sous couverture

seulement:

- Cet appareil ne peut être utilisé qu’avec la télécommande FH 422.

-Evitez toute utilisation en cas d'humidité. Toute couverture

chauffante humide ou mouillée doit être parfaitement séchée

avant l'utilisation.

-Ne l'utilisez pas si elle est pliée.

-Ne l'utilisez pas si elle est fortement froissée.

Vérifiez l'état de la couverture chauffante avant toute utilisa-

tion. Ne vous en servez pas si vous observez des défauts sur le

thermostat, les interrupteurs, le connecteur ou la couverture chauf-

fante elle-même. Dans ces cas là, merci de contacter le fabricant

ou le distributeur avant toute utilisation.

N'appliquez pas le produit sur une personne incapable de

bouger, insensible à la chaleur, sur un bébé ou sur des

animaux. Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec le produit.



Ne laissez jamais les enfants utiliser le produit sans surveillance.

Les enfants en dessous de 8 ans ne doivent pas utiliser ce produit à

moins qu'un adulte ait réglé sur la température la plus basse «1».

Ce produit peut être utilisé par des enfants de 8 ans et plus ou par

des personnes à mobilité réduite, ou en incapacité sensorielle ou

mentale ou sans connaissances du produit dans le cas où ces

derniers auraient été correctement renseignés sur l'utilisation du

produit et les dangers inhérents possibles.

N'y insérez pas d'épingle ni aucun autre objet pointu.

Ne recouvrez pas la commande manuelle! Pour garantir un fonc-

tionnement correct de la commande, ne pas la placer sur ou en

dessous de la couverture chauffante ou d'un autre objet.

Si vous utilisez un lit réglable, assurez-vous que la couverture

chauffante et le câble ne se coincent pas.

N'enroulez pas le câble autour du thermostat.

Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, faites-le remplacer

par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou des personnes

ayant des qualifications similaires pour prévenir tout risque.

N'essayez pas d'ouvrir ou de réparer le produit vous-même. Le

réassemblage du produit nécessite des outils spéciaux.

Le produit émet de très faibles champs éléctriques et magné-

tiques qui pourraient perturber le bon fonctionnement de votre

pacemaker. Ainsi, nous vous recommandons de demander l'avis

de votre médecin et du fabricant de votre pacemaker.

Laissez le produit refroidir avant de le plier et de le stocker

dans un endroit sec. Ne placez pas d'objets lourds sur le produit

pour éviter le flambage.

Ne convient pas à un enfant de 0 à 3 ans! A ces âges les

enfants sont incapables de réagir à la surchauffe.

Les appareils électroniques doivent être éliminés en confor-

mité avec les prescriptions locales, séparément des ordures

ménagères.

1. Utilisation d'une couverture chauffante Microlife

1. A partir du pied du lit, étendez la couverture chauffante à plat sur

le matelas.

2. Mettez ensuite le drap de lit de façon que la couverture chauffante

soit entre le matelas et le drap de lit.

3. Assurez-vous que la couverture chauffante est bien à plat et qu'elle

ne forme pas de plis. Vérifiez aussi si la couverture chauffante est

bien à plat lorsque vous faites le lit car elle ne peut être utilisée que

si elle ne forme pas de plis.

4. Vous pouvez maintenant allumer la couverture chauffante à l'aide

de la commande manuelle. Le niveau 1 correspond au minimum, le

niveau 6 au maximum. Pour un lit confortable, réglez la couverture

chauffante sur le niveau 6 pendant environ 30 minutes avant de

vous coucher et couvrez-le avec l'édredon. Ensuite, réduisez aux

niveaux 1-3 pour le reste de la nuit.

5. Après 12 heures de fonctionnement continu, la couverture

chauffante s'éteint automatiquement. Mais le témoin reste

allumé. Pour réinitialiser la minuterie et redémarrer une session de

chauffage, mettez le curseur sur «0», puis au niveau souhaité.

6. Débranchez la couverture chauffante lorsque vous avez fini.

2. Instructions de nettoyage

AVERTISSEMENT: Débranchez toujours le câble d'alimenta-

tion de la prise de courant avant de procéder au nettoyage du

produit.

1. Débranchez aussi la prise du câble d'alimentation et donc l'interrup-

teur avant de procéder au nettoyage. Ne mouillez pas le thermostat.

2. La couverture chauffante ne peut pas être nettoyée à sec!

3. La couverture chauffante peut être lavée en machine à condi-

tion de respecter les instructions de lavage qui figurent sur

l’étiquette de la couverture. Lavez la couverture chauffante à 40

°C à l'aide du programme de lavage pour textiles fragiles et d'un

détergent pour tissus fins.

4. Pour le lavage en machine, placez la couverture chauffante dans le

sac à linge.

5. N'utilisez ni essoreuse ni séchoir à tambour.

6. Séchez la couverture chauffante avec précaution. Pour ce faire,

placez-la sur une corde à linge ou un séchoir. N'utilisez pas de

pinces à linge. N'utilisez en aucun cas le produit pour le

séchage. Ne branchez l'alimentation électrique que si la couver-

ture chauffante est tout à fait sèche.

Les lavages fréquents provoquent une usure prématurée.

L'usure et la déchirure résultant de lavages fréquents ou

incorrects ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.

Le nettoyage et maintenance ne doivent pas être réalisés par

des enfants sans surveillance.

elle-même. Elle ne s'étend pas à un emploi incorrect, à des accidents ou

modifications non effectuées par le fabricant.

La garantie n'est valide que sur présentation de la carte remplie

par le revendeur.
