Personal Scale

Conditions of use:

If possible, the weighing should be done undressed. Please keep the weighing conditions constant, i.e.

at the same time each day. By nature, the body weight is subject to fluctuations (for example loss of

water after taking an exercise or after a sauna visit, after a meal, etc.). To be able to compare readings

it is important to do the weigh-in under the same conditions.

Note:

1. Place the scale on a flat and firm surface (tiles, hardwood flooring etc.). A weigh-in on a carpet will

give an erroneous result.

2. Always stay in the centre of the scale to prevent the scale from tipping to the side.

3. Please take care that no heavy objects falls on the scale. The glass surface is breakable.

4. Attention - Slip hazard! Do not stand on the scale with wet feet and ensure that the weighing platform

is dry.

Preparation:

Open the battery cover at the bottom side of the scale and remove the battery safety strip. Please

ensure a correct polarity of the batteries (+/-).

There is a switch at the bottom side of the scale for country specific settings with the option to switch

from kg = kilogram to st:lb = stone:pounds or to lb = pound.

Weighing function:

1. Switch on the scale by using the tap-on function. For this, tap with your foot quickly on the centre of

the scale. The display reads “----” and a few seconds later “0.0 kg”. The scale is now ready to use.

2. Step on the centre of the scale. Remain stationary on the weighing platform and relax. After a few

seconds, your weight will be displayed.

3. After weighing, step off the scale. The scale will switch off automatically after a few seconds.

Error messages:

“Err2” = Weighing procedure failed, please repeat.

“Err1” = Overload, the weight exceeds the maximum capacity of 180 kg. Please immediately remove

the critical load to avoid load cell damage.

“Lo” = Batteries are used spent, please replace the batteries.

Gebrauchsbedingungen:

Wenn möglich sollte das Wiegen unbekleidet stattfinden. Stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass die

Voraussetzungen für die Gewichtskontrolle gleich bleiben (z.B. täglich zur gleichen Zeit. Der Körper ist

von Natur aus Schwankungen ausgesetzt, z.B. Wasserverlust nach der Ausübung von Sport oder nach

einem Saunabesuch, nach dem Essen usw.). Um vergleichbare Anzeigewerte zu ermöglichen ist es

wichtig das Wiegen so genau wie möglich unter den gleichen Voraussetzungen auszuführen.

Anmerkung:

1. Stellen Sie die Waage auf einen ebenen und festen Untergrund (Fliesen, Holzboden usw.) Wiegen

auf einem Teppich wird ein falsches Ergebnis erzielen.

2. Stehen Sie immer in der Mitte der Waage, um ein Umkippen der Waage zur Seite zu verhindern.

3. Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass keine schweren Gegenstände auf die Waage fallen. Die

Glasoberfläche kann zerbrechen.

4. Achtung - Rutschgefahr! Stellen Sie sich nicht mit nassen Füssen auf die Waage und versichern Sie

sich, dass die Oberfläche der Waage trocken ist.

Vorbereitung:

Öffnen Sie die Batterieabdeckung auf der Unterseite der Waage und entfernen Sie den

Sicherheitsstreifen der Batterie. Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polarität (+/-) der Batterien.

Es gibt einen Schalter auf der Unterseite der Waage für länderspezifische Einstellungen mit der Option

von kg = Kilogramm auf st:lb = Stone:Pfund oder auf lb = Pfund umzustellen.

Wiegefunktion:

1. Schalten Sie die Waage durch Antippen ein. Hierfür tippen Sie mit Ihrem Fuß kurz auf die Mitte der

Waage. Auf der Anzeige erscheint „----“ und einige Sekunden später „0.0 kg“. Die Waage ist jetzt

zum Gebrauch bereit.

2. Stellen Sie sich auf die Mitte der Waage. Verweilen Sie unbeweglich auf der Waagenoberfläche

und entspannen Sie sich. Nach einigen Sekunden wird ihr Gewicht angezeigt.

3. Nach dem Wiegen treten Sie von der Waage herunter. Die Waage wird sich nach einigen Sekunden

automatisch ausschalten.

Fehlermeldungen:

„Err2“ = Wiegen fehlgeschlagen, bitte wiederholen.

„Err1“ = Überlast, das Gewicht übersteigt die maximale Kapazität von 180 kg. Bitte entfernen Sie sofort

die kritische Last um eine Beschädigung der Waage zu vermeiden.

„Lo“ = Die eingesetzten Batterien sind leer, bitte ersetzen Sie die Batterien.
