Installing Batteries in the Remote Control
1. Flip the remote control over and locate the battery compartment on the back.
Slide or press the compartment cover following the arrows to open it.
2. Insert x2 12V A23 batteries into the compartment, matching the orientation of the
polarity (+ / -) as indicated. Close the compartment securely after insertion.
Pairing the Remote to the Smoke Alarms
To pair the remote to smoke alarms, press and hold the Test/Hush button on the primary
unit until the indicator flashes 3 times then immediately release it.
The indicator will flash rapidly for 2 minutes while waiting for other devices to pair. If you
need to end the pairing in advance, press the Test/Hush button again.
Press Test button on the remote control. If the pairing is successful, the Red indicator on the
remote will flash twice.
I s s, f the product have been previously paired with other group it will exit directly after the
Green indicator flashes 4 times. For a successful match, you should clear paired data on all
units first.
Clearing paired data: Press and hold the Test/Hush button and
wait for the Green indicator to flash 4 times, immediately release
the button. If the paired data is cleared successfully, it will flash 3
times slowly and exit. Otherwise, repeat the above steps to clear.
Button Functions
Test button: Aim the remote at the smoke alarm you wish to test.
Press the test button, the smoke alarm will sound for 10-15 seconds.
Note: Do not press any other buttons during this time, instead wait
10 15 seconds until the alarm has stopped.-
Hush button: If the smoke alarm has been triggered and you need
to stop, aim the remote at the smoke alarm and press the hush
button. alarms are Note: Hush function will only work when smoke
triggered. the the If s s moke alarm are in t esting state, they cannot
be silenced.
