β’ξ BeforeξξΆnallyξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξinstalling the unit, connect the wiring
temporarily,ξ ξ ξ ξmaking sure it isξ ξall connectedξ ξup properly,ξ
and andξ ξ ξthe unit ξtheξ ξsystem work.
β’ξ When mounting unit, none theξ ξ ξthis ξ ξ ξmake sure ξ ξof ξ ξ ξleads are
trappedξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξbetween this unit and the surrounding metalworkξ
orξξΆttings.
β’ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot mount this unit near theξ ξ ξ ξheater outlet, where
it beξ ξwould ξ ξaξ²ected byξ ξ ξ ξheat, or near theξ ξ ξdoors, where
rainwaterξ ξ ξ ξ ξmight splash onto it. (Neverξ ξ ξ ξinstall in locations
such dangerξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξas the above because of the ξ ξ ξof malfunction
due highξ ξto ξtemperatures.)
β’ξ Beforeξdrillingξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξany mounting holes always check behindξ
where the theξ ξ ξ ξ ξyou want to drill ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξholes. Do not drill into ξgasξ
line, line, wiring other importantξ ξbrake ξ ξelectrical ξ ξor ξ ξparts.
β’ξ Ifξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthis unit is installed in the passenger compartment,
anchorξ ξ ξ ξit securely so itξdoesξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot break free while theξ ξ ξcar is
moving,ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξand cause injury or an accident.
β’ξ Ifξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthis unit is installed under front seat, make sure it does
not obstructξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξseat movement. Route all leads andξ ξcords
carefully the slidingξ ξaround ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξmechanism so they do notξ ξget
caughtξ ξ ξor pinched inξ ξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξthe mechanism and cause short
circuit.
Care and maintenance
β’ξ When theξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξproduct gets dirty, wipe dry with silicon cloth
orξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξsoft cloth. If it is seriously stained, remove stain with
aξ ξ ξ ξaξcloth moistened with neutralξ ξ ξ ξcleaner and then wipeξ
theξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξcleaner away. Do not use hard cloth and/or volatile
substance such lacquerξ ξ ξas ξ ξ ξ ξthinner or alcohol, scratches,ξ
deformation, damageξ ξ ξdegradation and/or ξ ξmay result.
β’ξ When component gentlyξaξ ξlens ξ ξ ξ ξgets dirty, wipe ξwithξaξ ξsoft
clothξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξmoistened with water. Do not rubξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξwith dry cloth to
preventξscratchingξtheξlens.
Installation Procedure
1ξ Toξpreventξaξshortξcircuit,ξremoveξtheξ ξfromξtheξkey
ignitionξandξdisconnectξtheξ ξbattery.-
2ξ Makeξtheξproperξinputξandξoutputξwireξconnectionsξ
forξeachξunit.
3ξ Connectξtheξwiringξharnessξwiresξinξtheξfollowingξ
order:ξground,ξignitionξandξcameraξunit.
4ξ Installξtheξunitξinξyourξcar.
5ξ Reconnectξtheξ ξbattery.-
WARNING
To prevent injury or fire, take the following
precautions:
β’ξ Toξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξprevent short circuit, never put or leaveξ ξ ξany metallic
objectsξ ξ ξ ξ(such as coins orξ ξ ξ ξmetal tools) inside theξunit.
β’ξ Installation and specialistξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξwiring of this product require ξ
skillξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξand experience. To assure your safety,ξ ξ ξaξplease request
specialist technicianξ ξ ξ ξ ξto install the unit.
β’ξ When the theξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξyou make hole to install ξ ξ ξcamera, check ξ
location tanks and andξ ξ ξof pipes, ξ ξ ξwiring ξ ξ ξavoid touching
them. Otherwise theξ ξ ξ ξ ξit may cause ξξΆre.
β’ξ Whenξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξyou make hole with drill, use goggles to protect
yourξeyes.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the product, take the
following precautions:
β’ξ Makeξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξsure to ground the unit toξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξnegative 12V DC power
supply.
β’ξ When replacing new theξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξaξfuse, only use ξ ξ ξfuse with ξ
prescribedξ ξrating. Using the wrongξaξ ξ ξfuse with ξ ξ ξ ξrating may
cause toξ ξ ξyour unit ξmalfunction.
β’ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot use your own screws. Use only theξ ξ ξscrews provided.
If useξ ξyou ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe wrong screws, you could damage the unit.
NOTE
β’ξ Aξ ξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξrear view camera is camera that providesξ ξsymmetrical
images in theξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξsame way as rear andξ ξ ξside view mirrors.
β’ξ Connectionξ ξaξto TVξwithξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξan RCA video input is possible,ξ
butξ ξ ξ ξconξΆrm whether the TVξ ξyou useξ ξaξ ξ ξhas reverse gear
connection function.ξ
β’ξ This product isξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξdesigned to supplement the driverβs rear
view,ξ ξ ξ ξ ξbut the camera images doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot show all dangers and
obstacles. sure lookξ ξBe ξ ξto ξbehindξ ξ ξ ξ ξyou when reversing to
conξΆrmξ ξthe view.

is farξ ξ ξ ξwide and the ξviewξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξaξis narrow, which may create
falseξ ξ ξ ξsense of distance. Beξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξsure to look behind you whenξ
reversing the view.ξ ξ ξto conξΆrm ξ
β’ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot wash your car withξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξan automatic car wash or
high-pressureξ ξ ξwater as itξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξmay result in water entering the
camera cameraξ ξ ξor the ξ ξfalling oξ².
β’ξ Checkξ ξcamera bracketξ ξ ξinstallation before driving.
ξ Areξ ξ ξthe screws loose?

β’ξ Layξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe cords by avoiding high-temperature areas.ξ ξUse
corrugatedξ ξtubes forξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξwiring inside the engine room. Ifξaξ
cord contactsξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξhigh-temperature area of the vehicle,ξ ξthe
coating melt short-circuiting,ξ ξmay ξ ξ ξand cause ξ ξ ξwhich may
leadξ ξaξ ξto ξΆre orξ ξelectric shockξhazard.

WARNING
β’ξ Ifξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξyou connect the ignition wire (Red) to the car chassis
(Ground),ξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξyou may cause short circuit, that in turn may
startξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξξΆre. Always connect those wires to the power source
running theξ ξthrough ξ ξfuse box.
β’ξ Doξ ξ ξnot cut outξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe fuse from the ignition wire (Red).ξ ξThe
powerξ ξ ξ ξsupply must be connectedξ ξto theξ ξ ξ ξwires via the fuse.
CAUTION
β’ξ Ifξ ξ ξ ξ ξyour carβsignition does notξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξhave an ACC position, connect
the ignition wires turnedξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξto power source that can be ξ ξon
andξ ξ ξoξ² with theξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξignition key. If you connect the ignition
wire voltageξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξaξ ξto power source with constant ξ ξ ξsupply, as
withξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξbattery wires, the battery may die.
β’ξ Ifξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe fuse blows, ξΆrst make sure the wires arenβt touching
to cause shortξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξcircuit, then replace the old fuse with one
withξ ξ ξthe same rating.
β’ξ Insulateξ ξ ξ ξunconnected wires with vinylξ ξ ξ ξtape or other similarξ
material.ξ ξ ξaξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξTo prevent short circuit, do not remove the caps
on endsξ ξthe ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξof the unconnected wires or the terminals.
β’ξ Afterξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe unit is installed, check whether the brake lamps,
blinkers, wipers,ξ ξetc.ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξon the car are working properly.
β’ξ Installξ ξ ξ ξ ξso that it does notξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξobstruct the rear ξΆeld of view.
β’ξ Installξ ξ ξ ξ ξso that it does notξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξprotrude from the side of theξcar.
β’ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot perform installation in rain or fog.
β’ξ When humidity the theξ ξ ξ ξ ξis high, dry ξ ξ ξ ξsurface to which ξ ξ ξunit is
toξ ξ ξ ξbe attached before installing.
β’ξ Moisture onξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe attachment surface reduces adhesive
strength, the comingξ ξ ξ ξ ξwhich may lead to ξ ξunit ξoξ².
β’ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot attach the camera bracketξ ξ ξ ξto areas on theξ ξ ξcar body
treatedξ ξ ξ ξ ξwith ξΈuorocarbon resin, or glass.
β’ξ Mayξ ξ ξ ξ ξresult in the rear viewξ ξ ξcamera falling oξ².
-ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot apply water to the unit.
-ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot expose the unit to rain.
-ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot subject the camera to unnecessary force.
-ξ Thoroughly forξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξclean where tape is used ξ ξ ξ ξsticking on the
unit.
β’ξ Referξ ξ ξ ξto the Instructionβs manualξ ξ ξ ξ ξfor details on connecting
the other then connectionsξ ξ ξunits, ξ ξmake ξcorrectly.
β’ξ Secureξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe wiring with cable clamps or adhesive tape.
Toξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξprotect the wiring, wrap adhesive tape around themξ
whereξ ξ ξ ξ ξthey lie against metal parts.
β’ξ Routeξ ξand secureξ ξ ξ ξall wiring so itξ ξ ξ ξ ξcannot touch any moving
parts,ξ ξ ξ ξsuch as the gearξ ξ ξ ξ ξshift, handbrake and seat rails.
β’ξ Doξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξnot route wiring in places that get hot, such as nearξ ξthe
heater outlet.ξ ξ ξ ξ ξIf the insulation ofξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe wiring melts or gets
torn,ξ ξ ξaξ ξthere is danger ofξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξthe wiring short-circuiting to the
vehicleξbody.
β’ξ When replacing theξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξ ξfuse, be sure to use onlyξ ξ ξ ξfuse of the
rating the holder.ξ ξ ξprescribed on ξ ξfuse
β’ξ Toξ ξ ξ ξ ξminimize noise locate the TVξ ξ ξ ξantenna cable, radio
antenna cable and cable eachξ ξ ξ ξRCA ξ ξ ξ ξ ξas far away from ξ ξother
