FG016 | Abluftsteuerung
Wenn bei geschlossenem Fenster und einer
in Betrieb beîšżndlichen Feuerstelle (Ofen, Kamin) die
Dunstabzugshaube eingeschaltet wird, saugt diese
giftige Kohlenmonoxid-Gase aus dem Kamin in den
Raum und kann Menschen und Tiere im Raum töten.
Diese Abluftsteuerung sorgt dafĂĽr, dass die Dunst-
abzugshaube (oder andere Abluftventilatoren) nur
eingeschaltet werden können, wenn das Fenster auf
„Kipp“ oder offen steht.
Die Feuerstättenverordnung M-FevVO§4 verbie-
tet den Betrieb einer Feuerstätte und gleichzeitiger
Luftabsaugung, es sei denn, es liegt eine ausreichen-
de Frischluftversorgung (z.B. gekipptes Fenster) vor.
Der Magnetsensor der Abluftsteuerung wird am Fens-
ter montiert. Erst wenn dieser ĂĽber das ca. 5 m lan-
ge Kabel das Signal „Fenster offen“ schickt, kann die
Dunstabzugshaube eingeschaltet werden. Ein RĂĽck-
sog gefährlicher Rauchgase in die Wohnräume wird
so verhindert. Die Abluftsteuerung ist ein Zwischen-
stecker, der einfach zwischen die Steckdose und dem
Stecker der Dunstabzugshaube gesteckt wird.
FG016 | Exhaust Control
If an exhaust hood is switched on with the
window closed and a hearth is in use (oven, îšżrepla-
ce), it sucks toxic carbon monoxide gases from the
îšżreplace into the room and may kill men and animals
in the room. This exhaust control ensures that the
exhaust hood (or other exhaust ventilators) may only
be switched on if the window is in „tilt position“ or
open.
The Fireplace Directive (M-FevVO§4) prohibits the
operation of a îšżreplace and simultaneous suction of
air, unless there is a sufîšżcient fresh air supply (e.g.
window in tilt position).
The magnetic sensor of the exhaust control is îšżtted
at the window. The exhaust hood can only be swit-
ched on if this transmits the signal “window open”
via the approx. 5 m long cable. A back suction of
dangerous ue gases into the living spaces is thus
prevented. The exhaust control is an adapter plug,
which is simply put between the socket and the plug
of the exhaust hood.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung:
Zur Einschaltkontrolle von Abluftventilatoren, die nur
bei gekipptem bzw. offenem Fenster in Betrieb ge-
nommen werden können.
Aufbauanweisung:
Der Zwischenstecker wird in die Steckdose gesteckt,
in die Steckdose an dem Zwischenstecker wird der
Stecker des Abluftventilators (Dunstabzugshaube)
gesteckt.
Der Magnetschalter, der sich am Ende des Kabels zum
Zwischenstecker bendet, wird ach oben an dem
Fensterrahmen befestigt. Genau gegenĂĽber auf dem
Fensterügel befestigen Sie den Magneten (weißes
Teil ohne Kabelanschluss). Bei geschlossenem Fens-
ter muss der Magnet genau max. 1 mm entfernt und
parallel zum Magnetschalter positioniert sein. Wenn
das Fenster geöffnet (gekippt) wird, muss sich der
Magnet > 10 cm vom Magnetschalter weg bewegen.
Wenn der Magnet neben dem Magnetschalter liegt
(Fenster geschlossen) schaltet dieser aus und die
Dunstabzugshaube kann nicht eingeschaltet werden.
Wenn der Magnet vom Magnetschalter weg bewegt
wird (das Fenster wird geöffnet), schaltet der Mag-
netschalter ein und die Dunstabzughaube kann auch
eingeschaltet werden.
Inbetriebnahme:
Wenn alles angeschlossen ist, ist das Gerät betriebs-
bereit.
Sie sollten es jetzt testen:
• Fenster geöffnet (Magnet ist > 10 cm vom Magnet-
schalter entfernt):
Ihre Dunstabzugshaube lässt sich einschalten.
• Dann Fenster schließen:
(Der Magnet liegt parallel zum Magnetschalter):
die Dunstabzugshaube lässt sich nicht einschalten.
Wenn das Gerät so reagiert, ist alles in Ord-
nung.

Use as directed:
Turn-on control of exhaust ventilators that can only
be operated when the window is in tilt position, open
respectively.
Assembly instructions:
The adapter plug is put into the socket. The plug of
the exhaust ventilator (exhaust hood) is put into the
socket at the adapter plug.
The magnetic switch, which is at the end of the cable
towards the adapter plug is fastened at at the top
of the window frame. Fasten the magnet (white com-
ponent without cable connection) exactly opposite
on the casement. When the window is closed, the
magnet must be exactly positioned 1 mm at most
distant from and parallel to the magnetic switch. The
magnet must move > 10 cm away from the magnetic
switch if the window is opened (in tilt position).
If the magnet lies next to the magnetic switch (win-
dow closed), this switches off and the exhaust hood
may not be turned on. If the magnet is moved away
from the magnetic switch (the window is opened),
the magnetic switches on and the exhaust hood may
also be turned on.
Setting into operation:
The device is ready for operation if everything has
been connected.
• You should test it now:
the window is open (the magnet is > 10 cm away
from the magnetic switch):
your exhaust hood can be switched on.
• Then close the window:
(The magnet is parallel to the magnetic switch):
the exhaust hood cannot be switched on.
Everything is all right if the device reacts in
this manner.
