The COM-VAM02 is a versatile and precise digital panel meter for
simultaneous measurement of DC voltage and current. Designed
for reliable use in laboratory, industrial, and mobile DC systems, it
oers a wide measuring range and easy integration into a variety of
applications such as power supplies, battery systems, or solar controllers.
The device supports an operating voltage of 3.5 – 30 V DC, measures voltages
up to 100 V DC, and currents up to 50 A DC with a fine resolution of 0.1 V / 0.1
A. Both measured values are displayed separately on bright, high-contrast
3-digit LED segment displays, featuring 0.28″ digit height per display. The
red display indicates voltage, while the green display shows the current.
For high-current measurement, the COM-VAM02 uses an external precision
shunt resistor, allowing safe, low-loss measurement even at high load
currents. The included calibration potentiometer enables fine adjustment
of the current reading to ensure long-term measurement accuracy.
With a refresh rate of 500 ms and a measurement accuracy of ±1
% + 2 digits, the device provides fast and reliable readings for
real-time monitoring. The compact design (48 × 29 × 22 mm) and
lightweight construction make it easy to integrate into front panels
or enclosures, while the wide operating temperature range (–10 °C
to +60 °C) ensures stable performance under demanding conditions.
Thanks to its four-wire system for current measurement and an additional
voltage-sense wire, installation is straightforward and secure. This makes
the COM-VAM02 a robust, precise, and user-friendly dual display meter,
ideal for engineers, technicians, and developers who require a dependable
measurement solution for DC applications.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Please read these safety instructions carefully before
installing or operating the device. Improper use or incorrect
wiring may lead to damage, malfunction, or personal injury.
This measuring instrument is designed exclusively for DC voltage and
current measurement within the specified technical limits. Do not use
it for AC applications or beyond its rated values. Operate the device
only within the voltage range stated in the specifications. Connecting
the instrument to higher voltages can cause permanent damage.
Disconnect all power sources before wiring or modifying connections.
Ensure correct polarity of all terminals (V+, V–, A+, A–). Use properly
dimensioned cables and connectors suitable for the expected current,
and avoid loose connections, short circuits, and exposed conductors.
There is a risk of electric shock, which can result in serious injury or death. Work
on high-voltage circuits or live electrical systems should only be performed by
qualified electricians or trained professionals. Always ensure that the power
supply is disconnected before performing any installation or maintenance work.
The instrument is intended for dry indoor environments. Protect it
from moisture, condensation, high humidity, and direct sunlight. Do
not touch the measuring terminals during operation. Ensure adequate
ventilation and do not cover the display or heat-dissipating components.
The module must not be operated near flammable materials or gases.
Before cleaning, disconnect the power supply. Use a dry, so cloth only – never
solvents or aggressive cleaners. The device contains no user-serviceable parts;
repairs should only be carried out by the manufacturer or qualified personnel.
Dispose of the device according to local electronic waste
regulations (WEEE). Do not dispose of it in household waste.
Incorrect wiring or use beyond the specified limits may lead to overheating,
damage, fire, or electric shock. Always verify polarity, voltage, and proper
wiring before connecting the device.
