Installation Instructions

1. For new construction, install device in approved junction box per device manufacturers

instructions.

2. Congure base by removing cord set ports as per diagram. (1)

3. Select proper device insert. If necessary, modify toggle/single receptacle insert for appropriate

device. (2)

4. Snap insert into base.

5. Secure base onto device or junction box using device screws or box screws provided (3)

6. Snap cover portion onto appropriate hinges. Cover must always hinge on top. (3)

1. En cas de nouvelle construction, installer le dispositif dans une boîte de connexion approuvée

selon les directives du fabricant du dispositif.

2. Congurer la base en retirant les ports de cordon tel qu’illustré sur le diagramme. (1)

3. Choisir la garniture isolante appropriée au dispositif. Si nécessaire, modier le bouton ou la

garniture isolante de prise simple en fonction du dispositif. (2)

4. Engager la garniture isolante dans la base.

5. Fixer la base au dispositif ou à la boîte de connexion à l’aide des vis du dispositif ou de celles

fournies avec la boîte. (3)

6. Remettre le couvercle sur les charnières appropriées. Le couvercle doit toujours pendre sur le

dessus. (3)

1. Para una nueva construcción, instale el dispositivo en una caja de empalme aprobada de

acuerdo con las instrucciones del fabricante del dispositivo.

2. Congure la base mediante la remoción de los puertos del cordón eléctrico como lo indica el

diagrama. (1)

3. Seleccione la pieza del dispositivo adecuada. Si es necesario, cambie la pieza del receptáculo

ya sea para interruptor simple o de palanca para el dispositivo adecuado. (2)

4. Encaje la pieza a la base.

5. Asegure la base al dispositivo o caja de empalme usando los tornillos del dispositivo o los

tornillos de la caja incluidos. (3)

6. Encaje la cubierta en las bisagras adecuadas. La cubierta siempre debe ir ajustada arriba. (3)

If within the warranty period specied, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, Intermatic Incorporated will replace it free of charge.

This warranty is extended to the original household purchaser only and is not transferable. This warranty does not apply to: (a) damage to units caused by

accident, dropping or abuse in handling, acts of God or any negligent use; (b) units which have been subject to unauthorized repair, opened, taken apart

or otherwise modied; (c) units not used in accordance with instructions; (d) damages exceeding the cost of the product; (e) the nish on any portion of

the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear; (f) transit damage, initial installation costs, removal costs, or

reinstallation costs. INTERMATIC INCORPORATED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT
