1. Open the battery compartment on the scale underside.

2. Remove isolating tab from beneath the battery.

3. Select kg, st or lb weight mode by the switch inside the battery compartment.

4. Close the battery compartment.

5. Position scale on firm flat surface. For use on carpet attach the enclosed carpet feet.

PREPARING YOUR SCALE

1. Tap the platform centre (vibration activates your scale) and remove your foot.

2. Wait until zero is displayed.

3. Step on and stand very still while the scale computes your weight.

4. Your weight is displayed.

5. Step off.

6. Your weight is displayed for a few seconds then the scale will switch off.

OPERATING YOUR SCALE

Err Weight exceeds maximum capacity.

LO Replace battery.

WARNING INDICATORS

• Always weigh yourself on the same scale placed on the same floor surface.

Do not compare weight readings from one scale to another as some differences will exist due

to manufacturing tolerances.

• Placing your scale on a hard, even floor will ensure the greatest accuracy and repeatability.

• Weigh yourself at the same time each day, before meals and without footwear.

First thing in the morning is a good time.

• Your scale rounds up or down to the nearest increment. If you weigh yourself twice and get

two different readings, your weight lies between the two.

• Clean your scale with a damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaning agents.

• Do not allow your scale to become saturated with water as this can damage the electronics.

• Treat your scale with care - it is a precision instrument. Do not drop it or jump on it.

ADVICE FOR USE AND CARE

If you experience any difficulty in the use of your scale:

• Check the battery is correctly fitted.

• Check that you have selected your preference of stones/pounds, kilograms or pounds.

• Check that the scale is on a flat, level floor and not touching against a wall.

• If when you use the scale there is no display at all or if ‘LO’ is displayed - try a new battery.

• If ‘Err’ is displayed the scale has been overloaded.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

1. Ouvrez le logement à pile situé sur le dessous du pèse-personne.

2. Retirez la languette de protection du dessous de la pile.

3. Déterminer l’unité de poids (kg, st ou lb) à l’aide du sélecteur de mode situé dans le

compartiment batterie.

4. Refermez le logement à pile.

5. Placez le pèse-personne sur une surface plane et ferme. Fixez-y les pieds à moquette fournis pour

l’utiliser sur de la moquette.

MODE D'UTILISATION

1. Posez le pied au centre du plateau (la pression active votre pèse-personne), puis retirez-le.

2. Attendez que la remise à zéro s’affiche.

3. Montez sur le plateau et attendez sans bouger que l’appareil calcule votre poids.

4. Votre poids s’affiche.

5. Descendez.

6. Votre poids reste affiché quelques secondes, puis le pèse-personne s’éteint.

FONCTIONNEMENT DE VOTRE PÈSE-PERSONNE

Err Le poids est superieur á la capacité maximum.

LO Remplacez la pile.

INDICATEURS D'AVERTISSEMENT

• Nettoyez les parties en plastique du pèse-personne avec un chiffon humide.

• Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs. Ne pas l’immerger.

• Pesez-vous à la même heure tous les jours avant les repas et sans chaussures.

• Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats ne pas utiliser le pése-personne sur des surfaces inégales ou

des tapis épais.

• Ne laissez pas tomber le pése-personne ou ne sautez pas dessus.

• Pesez-vous toujours sur le même pèse-personne et sur la même surface.

• Ne pas comparer votre poids de deux pèse-personne différents – ils varient due aux tolérances

différentes des fabricants.

• Si vous pesez deux fois et que le poids affiché varie votre poids exact est intermédiaire entre les

deux affichés.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Si vous rencontrez des problèmes lors de l'utilisation de votre pèse-personne:

• Vérifiez que la pile a bien été mise en place.

• Vérifiez que vous avez indiqué votre préférence entre stones/livres, kilogrammes ou livres.

• Vérifiez que le pèse-personne est posé sur un sol plat et uniforme et qu’il n’est pas en contact

avec un mur.

• Si l’écran reste entièrement vierge ou affiche ‘LO’ lorsque vous utilisez le pèse-personne,

essayez de changer la pile.

• Si ‘Err’ s’affiche, cela signifie que la charge nominale du pèse-personne a été dépassée.
