CONNECTING THE WIRES
4.Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite(or
ribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesure
alltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)on
mountingstrap(B)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew
(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
5.Placebackplate(F)overmountingstrap(B)sothatmountingscrews(D)protrudethroughtheholesinbackplate(F).Securethe
backplatetothemountingstrapwithdecorativenuts(J).Twistuntilthebackplateofthextureissnugagainstthewall.
6.Slideglass(I)overthesocket(G)andsecureinplacewithsocketcover(H).
Installlightbulb(notincluded)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.

CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Removeallofthecontentsfromthecarton.See
theimportantnotesabove.Shutoffthepowerat
thecircuitbreakerandcompletelyremovetheold
xturefromthewall,includingtheoldmounting
strap.
1.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralpairsof
threadedholesandtwoofmountingscrews(D).
Youmayneedtotightenhexnuts(C)thatholdthe
screwsinplace.
2.Placemountingstrap(B)uptoyourjunction
box.Placebackplate(F)overthemountingstrap
liningupmountingscrews(D)withtheholesin
backplate(F).Thiswillallowyoutoensurethat
youarehangingthexturestraight.
3.Pullthehousewiresthroughthecenterof
mountingstrap(B).Securemountingstrap(B)to
thejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(A)anda
screwdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
