Torque Screwdriver

(QSN 40: 0.08 – 0.40 Nm, QSN 120: 0.2 – 1.2 Nm, QSN 600: 1.0 – 6.0 Nm, QSN 900: 4.0 – 9.0 Nm)

Accuracy: +/- 6% of Torque Setting

Calibration Period: Every 12 Months or 5000 cycles (minimum)

Mechanism: Slipping - Incorrect tightening is impossible

At the set torque, the handle rotates through

an angle of 60° before resetting.

Safety & Maintenance

This Torque Tool is a precision instrument and should be used for its

intended purpose only

Only hold the tool using the handgrip

Always ensure that the tool is in correct alignment with the fastener

Torque tools should be regularly calibrated and inspected to ensure correct

operation

Ensure the tool is clean and free from oil, grease and water before use

Do not use extension bars to increase the leverage of the handle

Never dip into cleaning uid or petroleum

How to adjust your Torque Screwdriver

To adjust the torque setting:

Engage the adjusting mechanism by pressing

and holding down on the anodised adjusting knob.

To increase torque:

Rotate the handle clockwise until the required

torque is selected on the calibrated scale.

To reduce torque:

When adjusting, always approach the required

torque from a lower setting.

Rotate the handle anti clockwise passed your

setting, then increase torque to the required

value.

To increase leverage:

Optional lock on T-Bar for larger models of

screwdrivers, provides extra leverage when

required. (Order Code P29530).

This ts into the ¼" Square Drive (SD) in

the end of the handle.

To use Torque Screwdriver:

The Ergo Quickset Screwdriver is designed

for use with sockets, screwdriver bits and blades.

After use, set the screwdriver at the lowest setting

on the scale.

Servicing Information

Regular servicing of your Torque Tool by competent personnel is important to

ensure it continues to perform correctly.
