Operation



Poweringthemeter

Ifthe the themeterissuppliedwithoutbatteriesinstalled,install suppliedbatteriesin rear

batterycompartmenttopowerthemeter.Pleaseobserve proper polarity.

Ifthe themeterissuppliedwith batteriesinstalled,and a protectivebatterystripis ininstalled 

the compartment, the thebattery remove protectivestriptopower meter.

Alternatively,plugthe the theACadaptorinto jackon sideofthemeterandthenintoanAC

power powersourceto themeter.

NormalOperationMode

Whenswitched displaysON,the LCD  ‘0000’for that a periodof ontime,depending thetime the

meter thenhasbeeninactive.Themeterwill proceed normaltothe modeofoperationwhere

the LCD the displays currentCOlevelsinppm,theTemperature(°C/°F),andRH%(relative

humidity)alternatelyevery 6 seconds.

Status Indicator LED

The statusFrontpanel LEDuses user a color‐codingsystemtoinformthe astothemeasuredCO

concentration; CautionGreenfor forGood(<10ppm);Yellow  (10to29ppm);RedforDanger

(>30ppm). LEDIfthe failstoilluminate,pleasereturntheunitforservice.

Controlbutton

TheControlbutton meterlocatedon left ofthe side the isusedtocontroland program  a variety

ofmeterfunctions.Pressandholdthe theControlbuttonforatleast 3 secondstoaccess 

Control ControlSetupMode.Repeatedpressesofthe  button availablecyclethroughthe 

parameters.Theseparameters,inorder,are:

 ZERO Calibration

 Temperature   Unit selection (°C/°F)

 Temperature       compensation (used in conjunction with side potentiometer)

 Humidity       compensation (used in conjunction with side potentiometer)

 Alarm         Beeper Threshold (25, 30, 35, 50, 100, 200 ppm)

 Factory   Default setting reset

 Escape/Return(abortandreturntonormalmode)



ZEROCalibration

EnsurethattheZero Calibration is inperformed  a cleanairenvironment(noCOgases).

PressandholdtheControlbuttonfor 3 seconds(until       appears on the LCD screen) and

then enterpressandholdtheControlbuttonagainto thecalibrationmode(‘CAL’should

appearonthedisplay).
