To clean the unit, use only a dry, lint free cloth and apply light pressure to remove dirt. Take -

Der Gigabit Ethernet PoE++ Splitter EX 60327 teilt das Signal eines PoE Servers (PSE) in - -
Daten und Stromversorgung auf und gibt beide Signale getrennt aus. Damit können auch nicht
PoE fähige Ethernet Endgeräte (IP Kameras, WLAN Access Points...) an einen PoE Switch - - - - - -
oder anderen PSE angeschlossen werden und dessen Stromversorgung nutzen. Er entspricht
dem PoE++ Standard IEEE 802.3bt. Die Spannung am Terminal Block zur Versorgung des
Endgerätes kann individuell zwischen 3VDC und 36VDC eingestellt werden. Die maximale
Ausgangsleistung beträgt 50W bei max. 10A. Durch das robuste Metallgehäuse und den
erweiterten Betriebstemperaturbereich von 40°C bis 75°C eignet sich der EX 60327 für eine - -
Vielzahl von Anwendungen auch in rauen Umgebungen. Zum Lieferumfang gehören ein
vormontiertes DIN Rack Kit und eine Wandmontagehalterung.- -

Please read the following installation instructions.
1. - -Install the EX 60326 on a mounting rail using the DIN Rail kit or on the wall using the wall
mounting brackets.
2. Connect your PoE PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) to the Ethernet uplink port (PoE++
Data).
3. The digital display will now show the set output voltage. Use the supplied screwdriver to
set the correct output voltage for the end device you wish to power with the EX-60327.
4. Connect your Ethernet end device (e.g. IP camera, IP phone, ...) to the Ethernet downlink
port (Data) and the terminal block (pay attention to the polarity).
5. The digital display will now show the power consumption of the terminal device in addition
to the voltage.

The digital display shows the set output voltage and the
current power consumption of the connected load.
The output voltage can be continuously adjusted
between 3 VDC and 36 VDC using the supplied
screwdriver.

TECHNICAL NOTE
Procedure for STP Cable Grounding
When using shielded cables to connect two Ethernet devices, a ground loop may occur if the
shielding on the cables generates an additional grounding connection path. This can cause
ground current to flow through to the Ethernet ports and damage the devices. If it is necessary
to use shielded cables, we recommend using a metallic RJ45 connector on one end and a non-
metallic connector on the other end. Alternatively, a patch panel can be used in between the
two devices to prevent ground loops from occurring.
For connections over short distances (e.g., between two devices installed in the same cabinet),
both ends of the shielded cable can be referenced to the same grounding point. Therefore, in
this case, it is acceptable to use a shielded cable with metallic RJ45 connectors on both
devices.

The Gigabit Ethernet PoE++ splitter EX 60327 splits the signal from a PoE server (PSE) into -
data and power supply and outputs both signals separately. This means that non PoE capable - -
Ethernet end devices (IP cameras, WLAN access points, etc.) can also be connected to a PoE
switch or other PSE and use its power supply. It complies with the PoE++ standard IEEE
802.3bt. The voltage at the terminal block for supplying the end device can be set individually
between 3VDC and 36VDC. The maximum output power is 50W at max. 10A. The EX 60327's -
robust metal case and extended operating temperature range of 40°C to 75°C make it suitable -
for a wide range of applications, even in harsh environments. Supplied with a pre mounted DIN- -
Rail kit and a wall mounting bracket.

Auf der Digitalanzeige kann die eingestellte Ausgangs-
spannung und der aktuelle Stromverbrauch des
angeschlossenen Verbrauchers abgelesen werden.
Die Ausgangsspannung kann mit dem mitgelieferten
Schraubendreher stufenlos zwischen 3 VDC und 36
VDC eingestellt werden.
Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Installationshinweise.
1. -Installieren Sie den EX 60326 mit dem DIN Rail Kit auf eine Tragschiene oder mit der -
Wandmontagehalterung an die Wand.
2. Verbinden Sie Ihr PoE PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) mit dem Ethernet Uplink Port
(PoE++ Data).
3. Die digitale Siebensegmentanzeige zeigt nun die eingestellte Ausgangsspannung an.
Stellen Sie mit dem mitgelieferten Schraubendreher die richtige Ausgangsspannung fĂĽr
das Endgerät ein, das Sie mit dem EX 60327 betreiben möchten.-
4. - - -Verbinden Sie Ihr Ethernet Endgerät (z.B. IP Kamera, IP Telefon, ...) mit dem Ethernet
Downlink Port (Data) und dem Terminal Block (Polarität beachten).
5. Die digitale Siebensegmentanzeige zeigt nun neben der Spannung auch den
Stromverbrauch des Endgerätes an.

TECHNISCHER HINWEIS
Verhalten bei STP Kabelerdung-
Bei der Verwendung von geschirmten Kabeln zur Verbindung zweier Ethernet Geräte kann eine -
Erdungsschleife entstehen, wenn die Abschirmung der Kabel einen zusätzlichen
Erdungsverbindungspfad erzeugt. Dies kann dazu fĂĽhren, dass Erdungsstrom zu den Ethernet-
Anschlüssen fließt und die Geräte beschädigt. Wenn es notwendig ist, geschirmte Kabel zu
verwenden, empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines metallischen RJ45 Steckers an einem Ende -
und eines nicht metallischen Steckers am anderen Ende. Alternativ kann ein Patchpanel -
zwischen den beiden Geräten verwendet werden, um Erdschleifen zu vermeiden.
Bei Verbindungen ĂĽber kurze Entfernungen (z. B. zwischen zwei im selben Schrank installierten
Geräten) können beide Enden des abgeschirmten Kabels auf denselben Erdungspunkt
bezogen werden. Daher ist es in diesem Fall akzeptabel, ein abgeschirmtes Kabel mit
metallischen RJ45 Steckern an beiden Geräten zu verwenden. -

Zur Reinigung des Gerätes verwenden Sie bitte ausschließlich ein trockenes nicht faserndes
Tuch und entfernen Sie die Verschmutzung mit leichtem Druck. Im Bereich der AnschlĂĽsse bitte
darauf achten, dass keine Fasern des Tuchs in der Buchse hinterlassen werden.
Verwenden Sie bitte zu Reinigung in keinem Fall ein feuchtes oder nasses Tuch!
