EZ Hotspot Extender

Remove the rear bottom panel.

Type ezhotspot.eu in your browser.

Please select a Hotspot with 40% or more signal quality where

possible to ensure a good and stable connection. Select the SSID of

the hotspot and click on ‘Join Network’.

Connect one end of the Ethernet cable (not supplied) to the LAN

(PoE) port on the EZ Hotspot Extender. The LAN (PoE) port can be

founded on the right-hand side as seen from the back of the device.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the PoE injector’s

PoE port. Connect the Power Adapter DC inlet to the 24V DC IN of

the PoE Injector and the power adapter to an electrical outlet. The

device is ready for conguring when the two LEDs (Power and

Wireless) are lit and the green LED stops blinking. This may take

about 30 seconds.

Both user name and password are root.

Scan for Hotspots.

Check the details and choose ‘Submit’. Do the same on the next

page, change the encryption if you prefer and choose ‘Save &

Apply’.

Go to your network center, view the SSIDs (network names) and

select EnGenius-ezhotspot.euXXXXXX. You can nd this address at

the back of your product.

When connecting to Wispots of UPC and Ziggo, the encryption must

be adjusted. The steps you need to perform themselves are indicated,

you only need to click.

Note! Auto recovery: When extender cannot connect due to insufcient

range or incorrectly credentials such as encryption key (if any), a SSID

broadcasting “EnGenius-CannotJoinOrNotSetup” will appear. Kindly

retry again.
