Thebatterycompartment is located under the folding stand. Raise the stand and

useasmallslottedscrewdrivertoloosenthetwoscrewsthatsecurethebattery

door.Topreventyoufromlosingthescrewstheyareequippedwithwashersthat

preventthemfrombeingcompletelyremovedfromthedoor.

Removethedoorandinsertthe3“AA”batteries in the battery compartment.

Werecommendusingawell-knownbrandofalkalinebatteriesforlongestlifeand

bestperformance.Replacethebatterydoor and tighten the screws.

PositioningTheRadio

IMPORTANT:Thisradioisdesignedtobesplash/moistureresistant.Itisnotwaterproofandcannotbeimmersedinwaterorany

otherliquid.Youmayhangtheradiofromtheshowercurtainrodinyourbathroombutitshouldbepositionedinsuchawaythat

itisnotinthedirectpathoftheshowerspray.Openthefoldingleg/standtoplacetheradioonyourbathroomvanity,table,shelf

oranyotherflatsurface.

BackLitDisplay

TheClock/Timerdisplayin thismodelhasamomentarybluebacklightingsystem.Pressinganykeyturns‘On’the displaybacklightingfor

approximately6seconds,thenthedisplaylightingswitches‘Off’automatically to conserve the batteries.

RESETButton

Iftheunitissubjectedtoexcessstaticelectricitytheclock/timermay‘freeze’and not respond to any of the controls. If this occurs first

removeallbatteriesuntilthedisplaygoescompletelyblank,thenre-insertthebatteries.Ifthisfailstocorrecttheproblem,removethe

batteriesagainanduseastraightenedpapercliporsimilarobjecttodepresstheRESETbuttonlocatedinsidethesmallholebelowthe

batterycompartment.Thenre-insertthebatteries,replacethebatterydoorandresettheclock.
