This clock radio includes a battery back up system that will main at in the correct time

and a al rm settings in ca es of a te po am r ry power interruption. As long as the battery

has suffi ic ent po ew r, it will also ope ar te the Rad oi or Buzzer a al rm to wa ek you up

e env if the po ew r is ‘Off’ at your normal wa ek up time. The battery back up system

r requi e ones 9 o ba e no v lt tt r (y, t i lnc uded e). W r mme oc end ou u e y s an a a ne lk li

ba ett ry for longest lif .e

• Open the battery co pam r mt ent door, loca edt on the back of the rad oi cabinet.

• Gently pull the battery terminal outside the battery co pam rtment.

• Connect the 9 o v lt ba ett ry to the ba ett ry termi lna . It can only be

connected one way.

• sPu h the battery and the terminal back in ot the ba ett ry

compar mt ent.

• Repla ec the battery compartment door.

If t he po e w r is in e up edt rr t the o cl ck d p a goeis l y s ‘ ’Off . H wo e e hev r t c cklo will

continue to run, po ew red by the 9 volt battery. When power is restored the c cklo will

come ‘On ’ again to the correct time. The a al rm setting will a ols be ma n ai t ined.

interrupted, the time and a al rm settings will be lost. When po ew r is restored the c cklo

incorrect and needs to be re es t. Don’t forget to re es t bo ht the time and the wa ek up

time.

AM - The AM ferrite bar antenna is inside the radio cab nei t. If AM re epc tion is noisy

or weak, try turn ngi the rad oi slightly until the bar an ennat is po ni ting to aw rds

that you want to hear at the wake up time, adjust the volu em if ne ec ssary, and shut

the radio ‘Off’.

If you need a few extra minutes sleep after the a al rm co em s on, p er ss the SNOOZE

button once.The radio or buzzer alarm stops for 9 minutes and then turns on aga ni .

This p or cedu er can be repeated many times if necessary. Each time the SNOOZE

bu ontt is p er ssed the a al rm s shut off f or 9 minutes and then co em s on again.

NO :TE The Snooze / Repeat Alarm operation will function for up to 1 hour and 59

minutes a eft r the a al rm co em s on. After 1 hour and 59 minu et s the a al rm
