1. Intended Use
This product is designed to check the water content of
brake uid quickly and eciently. Fitted with a printer
for printing o the test results, essential for safety checks
and servicing.
Any other application beyond the conditions established
for use will be considered misuse. Draper Tools accepts no
responsibility for improper use of this product.

• ONLY trained and competent personnel may operate
this device.
• use the tester for any other purpose than which DO NOT

CAUTION! Always wear safety googles and gloves
when working with brake uid. If the brake uid
comes into contact with skin, wash o immediately
and seek medical advice if necessary.
• clean the tester probes after every use.Always
• DO NOT use this device if the tester, clamps or probe are
damaged in any way.
• attempt to repair this device; it contains no DO NOT
user-serviceable parts.
• Only use a DC 12V vehicle battery, DO NOT use 24V or
any other voltage with this tester.

6. Using the Printer function

1. Insert the print paper roll into the printer
compartment (3).
2. After carrying out the brake uid test press the conrm
button to enter the print mode.
3. The date and Vin number (last 4 digits) can be printed.
Press the
/decrease button (7) and /increase
button (9) to select each digit, press the conrm button
after each selection.
4. Once selection completed press the conrm button
again to print out the test results.
7. Maintenance, Storage and
Disposal
• After use clean the probes to remove any brake
uid residue.
• Store the device in a cool, clean and dry environment,
out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
• Calibration - To conrm the accuracy of the tester,
carry out a test using clean water. If the tester is working
correctly the temperature reading will be 100°C/212°F.
• At the end of its working life, dispose of the product
responsibly and in line with local regulations.
Recycle where possible. dispose of this product DO NOT
with domestic waste; most local authorities provide
appropriate recycling facilities.

5. Testing The Brake Fluid
1. Connect the clamps to a 12V vehicle battery – ensuring
the positive (+) red clamp (4) is connected to the positive
terminal and the negative (-) black clamp (5) to the
negative terminal.

2. Press the
/decrease button (7) and /increase
button (9) to select the brake uid type to test.
Then press the conrm button (6).
3. Dip the tester into the brake uid until the probes are
fully submerged and press the conrm button (6).

4. The uid quality results will be displayed on the screen
(2) examples below: -

5. To reset or return to the previous screen press the reset
