Installation Guide
Description
The CrestronÂŽ CEN-CI3-1 is a compact,
rack-mountable enclosure designed to provide a
versatile control interface and expansion solution using
any single 3-SeriesÂŽ Control Card. It is used to expand
the control ports of a 3-Series Control System
ÂŽ.
Installation
The CEN-CI3-1 is designed to be placed on a shelf or
rack mounted using the optional ST-RMK Rack Mount
Kit (sold separately).
Mounting into a Rack
For rack mounting, use the 04-40 x 1/4” screws that
come with the ST-RMK to secure one or two
CEN-CI3-1 units to the ST-RMK.

Holes for Mounting to
ST-RMK Rack Mount Kit
CAUTION: The CEN-CI3-1 should be used in a
well-ventilated area. The venting holes on the sides
should not be obstructed.
Mounting onto a Flat Surface
When placing the CEN-CI3-1 onto a at surface or
stacking it with other equipment, attach the included
feet near the corners on the underside of the
CEN-CI3-1.
Communicating with the Control Card
A 3-Series Control Card must be installed in the
CEN-CI3-1 because communication is with the installed
card and not with the CEN-CI3-1 itself.
Communication can be via TCP/IP or USB.
