13. Use hairsetter on a level surface.
14. Do not touch the metal radiator strips
that hold the rollers – they are hot.
15. This appliance is not a toy. Keep away

INSTRUCTIONS
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR HAIRSETTER
1. Your hairsetter is uniquely designed with
a retractable cord for easy storage. Place
hairsetter on a firm, flat surface. Gently pull
the cord from the base of the hairsetter. Open
the lid and take out the clip bracket and all
clips, then close the lid. With the lid closed,
plug cord into standard electrical outlet. This
appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
2. Once plugged in, turn the unit on by slid-
ing the switch to the ON pos ition. The red
light will go on, the rollers will heat up
quickly and the ionic energy will be auto-
matically activated (please refer to HOW TO
CURL YOUR HAIR for further instruction).
Use the control dial to choose the desired
temperature for your hair type. 12 variable heat
settings give you greater versatility.
3. Allow rollers to heat with lid closed, as this
will provide the fastest, most efficient heat-up.
Once the rollers’ indicator light turns white,
they have reached your desired temperature
and you can begin setting your hair. For tighter
curls, allow rollers to heat longer at a higher
temperature. Never leave your hairsetter on and
unattended. Always unplug the hairsetter when
not in use. Allow the hairsetter to cool down
after use, and store in a safe place.
4. Hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp
– never wet – when setting.
5. This appliance has a 60-minute auto OFF
function. If the appliance is left on it will auto-
matically shut off around 60 minutes.
NOTE: Red ON indicator light will remain illu-
minated. To restart the hairsetter for operation,
turn the switch off and then back on again.
USER MAINTENANCE
Your hairsetter is designed for household use
and is virtually maintenance free. This product
represents the highest standards of workman-
ship and engineering research.
If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the
appliance from the power source. Allow the
hairsetter to cool. Clean the unit and the metal
radiator strip with a cloth. (Occasionally you may
want to clean your rollers. Use a damp cloth and
mild detergent or soap.) If any abnormal condition
occurs, unplug the hairsetter, allow it to cool, and
return it to an authorized service representative
for repair.
STORAGE
Allow hairsetter to cool. Pull gently on the plug and
the retractable cord will coil inside the hairsetter
(Fig. 1). Handle cord carefully
to extend its life; avoid jerking
or straining plug connections.

children, in a safe, dry location. Fig. 1
HOW TO CURL YOUR HAIR
1. Place ends of hair
on roller and wind
toward the scalp. Roll
up hair firmly, and
secure clip, crossing
over roller.
2. The firmness of the
curl is regulated by the temperature setting
chosen on the control dial, the diameter of
the roller, and the length of time the roller is
left in your hair.
3. For tight, firm curls, use smaller rollers and
a higher temperature, and leave roller in hair
for at least ten minutes before removing.
For soft, wavy curls, use larger rollers and a
lower temperature and remove rollers after
a shorter period of time. Our 12 variable
heat settings give you longer-lasting styles.
4. Removing roller: Hold roller in one hand while
removing clip with the other. Gently drop roller
(DO NOT PULL) and let curl bounce back after
roller has been completely removed. Let
cool for one minute for a firmly set curl, and
then style your hair into a look that lasts
for hours.
IMPORTANT: After using the hairsetter several
times, you will find the best roller selection and
the best timing for the texture of your hair and for
the result you desire.

DE OPERACIÓN
MODO DE EMPLEO
1. Su juego de rulos calientes cuenta con un
cable retráctil para un fácil almacenaje.
Ponga el aparato sobre una superficie
plana y segura. Jale suavemente el cable.
Abra la tapa y saque los clips (situados en
la barra de almacenaje). Cierre la tapa y
enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente.
El cable de este aparato cuenta con un
enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha
que la otra). Como medida de seguridad,
aquel enchufe se podrá enchufar de una
sola manera en las tomas de corriente
polarizadas. Si el enchufe no entra en la
toma de corriente, inviértelo. Si aun así no
entra completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
2. Encienda el aparato, deslizando el
interruptor hacia “ON”; el indicador
luminoso rojo se encenderá y los rulos
calentarán rápidamente, activando
automáticamente la función iónica
(véase la sección “CÓMO MARCAR
EL CABELLO” para más información).
Ajuste la temperatura al nivel deseado,
según su tipo de cabello. Doce opciones
de temperatura ofrecen mayor versatilidad.
3. Mantenga la tapa cerrada hasta que los rulos
estén calientes; esto logrará un calentamiento
más rápido y efectivo. Cuando el indicador de
temperatura se pone blanco, puede empezar
a marcar el cabello. Para conseguir rizos
apretados, permita que los rulos se calienten
por más tiempo, a una temperatura más alta.
Nunca descuide/deje el aparato sin vigilancia
después de encenderlo. Siempre desenchufe
el aparato después del uso. Después del uso,
permita que el aparato se enfríe y guárdelo
en un lugar seguro.
4. El cabello debe estar limpio y seco, o
ligeramente húmedo; no marque el cabello
mojado.
5. Este aparato cuenta con una función de
apagado automático. Para su seguridad, el
aparato se apagará automáticamente
después de 60 minutos si olvida apagarlo.
NOTA: el indicador luminoso rojo
permanecerá encendido. Para volver a
encender el aparato, ponga el botón de
encendido/apagado en “OFF”, y luego en
“ON” otra vez.
INSTRUCCIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO
Este aparato p2-ha sido diseñado para uso
doméstico y requiere poco mantenimiento.
Ha sido fabricado usando un alto nivel de
tecnología y competencia.
Cuando sea necesario limpiarlo, desenchúfelo
y permita que se enfríe. Limpie la carcasa
del aparato y las barras calentadoras con
un paño seco. De vez en cuando, limpie los
rulos usando un paño húmedo y detergente o
jabón suaves. En caso de mal funcionamiento,
desenchufe el aparato, permita que se enfríe y
devuélvalo a un centro de servicio autorizado.
ALMACENAJE
Permita que el aparato se enfríe. Agarre el
cable por el enchufe y jálelo ligeramente para
guardarlo en el aparato (Fig. 1) Manipule el
cable con cuidado para prolongar su vida útil.
No lo tironee ni lo retuerza,
especialmente al nivel del
enchufe. Guarde el aparato
en un lugar seco y seguro,
fuera del alcance de los
niños.
CÓMO MARCAR EL CABELLO
1. Separe una sección
de cabello, coloque
las puntas en el
centro del rulo y
enrolle este hacia
el cuero cabelludo.
Enrolle el cabello
firmemente, y sujete el rulo con una pinza
puesta alrededor del mismo.
2. La textura de los rizos dependerá del
diámetro de los rulos, de su temperatura y
del tiempo que permanecen en el cabello.
3. Para obtener rizos apretados y firmes,
utilice rulos más pequeños y un ajuste de
temperatura más alto, y deje los rulos en el
cabello por un mínimo de 10 minutes antes
de sacar los rulos. Para obtener rizos sueltos
y ondas suaves, utilice rulos más grandes y
un ajuste de temperatura más bajo, y deje
los rulos en el cabello por menos tiempo.

permiten crear estilos duraderos.
4. Para quitar los rulos: sostenga el rulo con
una mano y retire el clip con otra mano.
Deslice suavemente el rulo (NO LO JALE)
y permita que el cabello rebote libremente.
Permita que el cabello se enfríe por un
minuto antes de peinarlo; esto “fijará” los
rizos y logrará un peinado más duradero.
IMPORTANTE: la experiencia le enseñará
cuales rulos elegir y cuánto tiempo dejarlos
en el cabello, según su textura, para conseguir
los resultados deseados.
DOS PUERTOS IÓNICOS GENERAN IONES
NEGATIVOS QUE PUEDEN:
• neutralizar la carga positiva en el cabell
con frizz
• eliminar la estátic
• agregar brill
NOTA: puede que el aparato produzca
un chasquido de vez en cuando; esto es
normal (es debido a la alta cantidad de iones
generados por el generador de iones).
