15. Center of rollers will be hot. Hold rollers
by ends to roll hair.

INSTRUCTIONS
How to Operate Your Setter
1. Place setter on a firm, flat surface. With
the pouch lid closed, plug cord into outlet.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
2. Once plugged in, the rollers will heat up
in minutes. The fastest, most efficient
heat-up is provided when the pouch lid
is closed. Once the rollers are hot, you
can begin styling your hair. (Please refer
to How To Curl and Style Your Hair for
further instruction.)
3. Never leave your setter plugged in and
unattended. Always unplug the setter
when not in use. Allow the setter to cool
down after use. Store unit in a safe place.
4. When using the setter, your hair should
be clean and dry (or slightly damp),
never wet.

How To Curl and Style Your Hair
MEDIUM ROLLERS
Use on short to medium-length
hair to create fullness or a tight
curl. Tight curls can be created
at the nape of the neck, and
used to frame your face.
LARGE ROLLERS
Can be used on medium to
long hair to create a romantic,
pretty, and full curl.
1. Place ends of hair in teeth of starter strip
and wind toward scalp. Roll hair firmly
and secure roller with a clip by crossing
clip over roller.
2. The firmness of the curl is regulated by
several factors: heat-up time, diameter of
roller, and length of time roller is left in the
hair. For tight, firm curls, use small rollers.
For longer-lasting curls, the rollers should
be allowed to heat up longer and left in
the hair for a longer period of time before
removing.
3. For soft, romantic curls and volume, use
large-sized rollers. IMPORTANT: After
using the styling setter several times,
you will find the best combination for
your hair and the results you desire.
4. To remove rollers, hold roller in one hand
and remove clip with the other hand.
Gently drop roller (DO NOT PULL), and let
curl bounce back once roller has been
removed from hair. Let cool for one minute
for a good set, then style your hair as
desired.
MAINTENANCE
Your setter is designed for household use
and is virtually maintenance free. This
product represents the highest standards of
workmanship and engineering research.
If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect
the appliance from the power source. Allow
the setter to cool. Clean the unit with a cloth.
(Occasionally you may want to clean rollers.
Use a damp cloth and mild detergent or soap.)
If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the
styling setter, allow it to cool, and return it to
an authorized service representative for repair.
STORAGE
Allow setter to cool. Handle cord carefully
to prolong its life; avoid jerking or straining
at plug connections. Place setter out of
reach of children in a safe, dry location.

Modo de empleo
1.. Ponga el aparato sobre una superficie pla
y segura. Cierre la cubierta y conecte el
cable a una toma de corriente. el cable de
este aparato está dotado de una clavija
polarizada (una pata es más ancha que
otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá
enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de
corriente polarizada. Si no entrara en la toma
de corriente, inviértala. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
2.. Una vez conectado el aparato, los rul
calentarán en tan solo minutos. Mantenga
la cubierta cerrada hasta que los rulos estén
calientes; esto logrará un calentamiento
más rápido y efectivo. Empiece a marcar
el cabello cuando los rulos lleguen a la
temperatura deseada. (véase la sección
“ ” para másCÓMO MARCAR EL CABELLO
información).
3.. Nunca descuide ni abandone el apara
después de encenderlo. Desconecte el
aparato después del uso. Permita que
el aparato se enfríe antes de guardarlo.
Guárdelo en un lugar seguro.
4.. Su cabello debe estar limpio y seco,

Cómo marcar el cabello
RULOS MEDIANOS
Úselos para dar volumen y
crear rizos apretados sobre
el cabello corto o medio-
largo. Los rizos apretados
son perfectos en la nuca y
alrededor del rostro.
RULOS GRANDES
Úselos para crear rizos suaves
y románticos sobre el cabello
medio-largo a largo.
1. Coloque las puntas sobre la tira, y enrolle
el rulo hacia el cuero cabelludo. Enrolle el
cabello firmemente y sujete el rulo con un
clip puesto alrededor del mismo.
2. La textura de los rizos dependerá del
diámetro de los rulos, de su temperatura
y del tiempo de pausa. Para obtener
rizos apretados y firmes, utilice los rulos
más pequeños. Para conseguir rizos
más duraderos, permita que los rulos se
calienten por más tiempo y déjelos en
elcabello por más tiempo.
3. Para crear ondas suaves y románticas
y volumen, utilice rulos más grandes.
IMPORTANTE: la experiencia le
enseñará cuánto tiempo dejar los
rulos en el cabello para conseguir los
resultados deseados.
4. Para quitar los rulos, sostenga el rulo
con una mano y retire el clip con la otra.
Deslice suavemente el rulo (NO LO JALE) y
permita que el cabello rebote libremente.
Permita que el cabello se enfríe por un
minuto antes de peinarlo para “fijar” los
rizos.
MANTENIMIENTO

doméstico y requiere poco mantenimiento.
Ha sido fabricado usando un alto nivel de
tecnología y competencia.
Cuando sea necesario limpiarlo,
desenchúfelo, y permita que se enfríe.
Limpie el aparato con un paño ligeramente
humedecido. De vez en cuando, limpie
los rulos usando un paño húmedo y
detergente o jabón suave. En caso de mal
funcionamiento, desconecte el aparato,
permita que se enfríe y regréselo a un
centro de servicio autorizado.
