Why use a power capacitor?

Thi r s powe capacity is an energy

storage devi toce. It is designed

supplement you car’s charging system,

when yo io ur aud amplifier places a

high current demand upon it. This

occurs, ic for example, when the mus

yo e au ar playing cont ins a loud,

transi .ent, deep bass signal

The l o yo overal bass response f ur

system will be enhanced by using this

device. Since automotive batteries are

not to designed deliver the current

required by modern car audio systems,

a capacitor such as this one, which is

capable of discharging extremely

rapidly on demand, is a logical addition

to yo o syur audi stem.

In addition, this capacitor can filte or ut

the AC voltage induced in the

amplifier’s power supply. Unchecked,

this voltage can cause audible noise

in the s sound tem sys . It i

recommended to use a capacitor with

a minimum o e r f on mic ofarad (1F) for

each s o 500 watt f amplifier power.
