Introduction:Thank you for purchasing the American DJ Emerald ®

Scan II. The Emerald Scan II is a DMX intelligent, laser effect that cre-

ates multiple patterns. This unit can be used as a stand alone, sound-

active unit or in a Master/Slave conguration. The unit can also be

controlled via DMX controller. For a dramatic laser show use several

Emerald Scan II’s together. This piece is best used with a fog or haze

machine to enhance the beam output.

Unpacking:Every Emerald Scan II has been thoroughly tested and

has been shipped in perfect operating condition. Carefully check the

shipping carton for damage that may have occurred during shipping.

If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect the unit for

any damage and be sure all accessories necessary to operate the unit

have arrived intact. In the event damage has been found or parts are

missing, please contact our toll free customer support number for fur-

ther instructions. Please do not return the unit to your dealer without
