DO NOT OPERATE ANY FUNCTION THAT TAKES YOUR

ATTENTION AWAY FROM SAFELY DRIVING YOUR VE-

HICLE. Any function that requires your prolonged at-

tention should only be performed after coming to a com-

plete stop. Always stop the vehicle in a safe location

DO NOT ALLOW CABLES TO BECOME ENTANGLED IN

SURROUNDING OBJECTS. Arrange wiring and cables

in compliance with the manual to prevent obstructions

when driving. Cables or wiring that obstruct or hang up

on places such as the steering wheel, gear lever, brake

pedals, etc. can be extremely hazardous.

DO NOT SPLICE INTO ELECTRICAL CABLES. Never cut

away cable insulation to supply power to other equip-

ment. Doing so will exceed the current carrying capac-

ity of the wire and result in fire or electric shock.

DO NOT DAMAGE PIPE OR WIRING WHEN DRILLING

HOLES. When drilling holes in the chassis for installa-

tion, take precautions so as not to contact, damage or

obstruct pipes, fuel lines, tanks or electrical wiring. Fail-

ure to take such precautions may result in fire.

DO NOT USE BOLTS OR NUTS IN THE BRAKE OR

STEERING SYSTEMS TO MAKE GROUND CONNEC-

TIONS. Bolts or nuts used for the brake or steering sys-

tems (or any other safety-related system), or tanks

should NEVER be used for installations or ground con-

nections. Using such parts could disable control of the

vehicle and cause fire etc.

KEEP SMALL OBJECTS SUCH AS BOLTS OR SCREWS

OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Swallowing them

may result in serious injury. If swallowed, consult a phy-

sician immediately.

CAUTION

HALT USE IMMEDIATELY IF A PROBLEM APPEARS.

Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to

the product. Return it to your authorized Alpine dealer

or the nearest Alpine Service Center for repairing.

HAVE THE WIRING AND INSTALLATION DONE BY EX-

PERTS. The wiring and installation of this unit requires

special technical skill and experience. To ensure safety,

always contact the dealer where you purchased this prod-

uct to have the work done.

USE SPECIFIED ACCESSORY PARTS AND INSTALL

THEM SECURELY. Be sure to use only the specified ac-

cessory parts. Use of other than designated parts may

damage this unit internally or may not securely install

the unit in place. This may cause parts to become loose

resulting in hazards or product failure.

ARRANGE THE WIRING SO IT IS NOT CRIMPED OR

PINCHED BY A SHARP METAL EDGE. Route the cables

and wiring away from moving parts (like the seat rails)

or sharp or pointed edges. This will prevent crimping

and damage to the wiring. If wiring passes through a

hole in metal, use a rubber grommet to prevent the wire’s

insulation from being cut by the metal edge of the hole.

DO NOT INSTALL IN LOCATIONS WITH HIGH MOIS-

TURE OR DUST. Avoid installing the unit in locations

with high incidence of moisture or dust. Moisture or

dust that penetrates into this unit may result in product

failure.

de tels objets peut entra ner de graves blessures. En casî

EVITE DA AR LOS TUBOS Y EL CABLEADO CUANDOÑ

TALADRE AGUJEROS. Si taladra agujeros en el chasis

durante la instalaci n, tome las precauciones necesa-ó

rias para no rozar, da ar u obstruir los tubos, las tube-ñ

r ctri-ías de combustible, los depósitos o el cableado elé

co. De lo contrario, podr a provocar un incendio.í

NO UTILICE TUERCAS O PERNOS EN EL SISTEMA DE

FRENOS O DE DIRECCI N PARA REALIZAR LAS CO-Ó

NEXIONES A MASA. Los pernos o tuercas empleados

en los sistemas de freno o de direcci n (o en cualquieró

otro sistema relacionado con la seguridad del vehícu-

lo), o los dep sitos, NUNCA deben utilizarse para insta-ó

laciones de cableado o conexi n a masa. Si utiliza talesó

partes podr incapacitar el control del veh culo y provo-á í

car un incendio, etc.

MANTENGA LOS OBJETOS PEQUE OS, COMO PERNOS YÑ

TORNILLOS, FUERA DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS. La

ingestión de estos objetos puede provocar lesiones graves.

Si esto ocurre, consulte con un m dico inmediatamente.é

RECE ALG N PROBLEMA. ÚSu uso en estas condicio-

rizado o al Centro de servicio Alpine m s pr ximo paraá ó

repararla.

CONFÍE EL CABLEADO Y LA INSTALACI N A PROFE-Ó

SIONALES. El cableado y la instalación de este equipo

requieren una competencia y experiencia t cnica con-é

firmada. Para garantizar la seguridad, p ngase siempreó

en contacto con el distribuidor al que ha comprado el

equipo para confiarle estas tareas.

UTILICE LOS ACCESORIOS ESPECIFICADOS E INSTÁ-

LELOS CORRECTAMENTE. Aseg rese de utilizar losú

accesorios especificados solamente. La utilizaci n deó

otras piezas no designadas puede ser la causa de daños

en el interior de la unidad o de una instalaci n incorrec-ó

ta. Las piezas pueden aflojarse, lo que, adem s de será

peligroso, puede provocar averías.

DISPONGA EL CABLEADO DE FORMA QUE LOS CABLES

NO SE DOBLEN, NO SE CONTRAIGAN NI ROCEN UN

BORDE MET LICO AFILADO.Á Aleje los cables y el ca-

bleado de piezas m viles (como los ra les de los asien-ó í

tos) o de bordes puntiagudos o afilados. De esta forma

evitará dobleces y daños en el cableado. Si los cables

se introducen por un orificio de metal, utilice una

arandela de goma para evitar que el borde met lico delá

orificio corte el aislamiento del cable.

NO INSTALE LA UNIDAD EN LUGARES MUY HÚMEDOS

O LLENOS DE POLVO. Evite instalar la unidad en luga-

res con altos ndices de humedad o polvo. Si entra pol-í

vo o humedad, el equipo puede averiarse.
