The device is supplied with a protective film on the front. If you replace
this, it is best to use a Volla screen protector for the model so that the
fingerprint is optimally recognized by the sensor.

recognition sensor, which is displayed on the
screen as soon as you have set up at least one
fingerprint profile.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
When using the device for the first time, it is
recommended to charge it for at least one hour.
To do this, connect the device to a suitable
USB-C power adapter using the USB-C cable
supplied. The power supply unit must support the PD 3.0 charging
protocol for the fast charging function. A power supply unit and other
accessories are available at store.volla.online. If the device was switched
o, the device starts in charging mode and displays the charging status
for a short time. To display the charging status again, briefly press the
power button.
INSERT SIM AND MEMORY CARD
You can insert two nano SIM cards and into the smartphone.
1. insert the SIM needle into the small lock of the SIM compartment until
the SIM sledge protrudes slightly.
2. pull out the SIM tray and insert one or two SIM cards so that the gold-
colored contact surfaces are facing outwards.
3. push the SIM tray all the way back into the SIM compartment so that
the small hole is facing outwards.
SWITCHING THE DEVICE ON
Press the power button for a few seconds
until the device starts.
SETTING UP THE DEVICE
• When you start the device for the first
time, the setup wizard appears.
• If you have inserted one or two SIM cards into the device, you must
first enter the corresponding PIN for each of these SIM cards.
• Tapping on “Next” or “Skip” at the bottom of a page will take you
to the next step. On some pages, such as the end user license
agreement, scroll to the bottom to go to the next step.
• Good to know: The signature created for fingerprint and facial
recognition is only stored in encrypted form on the device and is
never shared with apps or cloud services.
• In the last step of the setup wizard, you can restore the data from
another Volla Phone by transferring the backup copy.
• After completing the setup wizard, you will be taken to the start app
with an introduction to basic functions. Your Volla Phone Quintus is
now ready for everyday use.
CREATE ACCOUNTS
You can connect the Volla Phone Quintus to your e-mail inboxes, online
calendars and address books.
1. open the “Mail” app to set up your mailboxes. Tap on “Go” to start
the wizard.
2. open the “Sync” app and grant the necessary permissions after the
setup wizard by tapping on “Manage permissions”. Then tap on the
plus sign at the bottom right to add your online account for contacts
and calendar.
You can obtain the settings from your respective service provider.
