TUBELESS READY

ATTENZIONE:

Utilizzare esclusivamente cerchi delle dimensioni indicate sull’e-

tichetta della confezione. Vericare attentamente che la sede di

tallonamento non abbia spigoli vivi.

In caso il vostro cerchio abbia installato il nastro di adattamento

tubeless, accertatevi che sia posizionato correttamente nella gola

del cerchio e non salga sui anchi dello stesso.

INSTALLAZIONE

1. Inserire il primo tallone dello pneumatico nella gola del cerchio.

2. Introdurre nella gola del cerchio il secondo tallone partendo dal

lato opposto rispetto alla valvola per agevolarne l’installazione.

3. -Con l’apposito utensile rimuovere il meccanismo dal corpo val

vola e gonare lo pneumatico alla pressione massima indicata

per permettere il tallonamento del copertoncino riscontrabile da

un suono tipo “clack”. Potrebbe essere necessario l’utilizzo di

una pompa a due stadi (booster) o di un compressore. Con-

trollare che la centratura della gomma sia esente da difetti; in

caso contrario sgonare lo pneumatico e ripetere le operazioni

di assestamento no ad ottenere la corretta centratura.

4. -Agitare energicamente la bottiglia di liquido sigillante per tu

beless ready. Sgonare lo pneumatico, posizionare la valvola

ad ore 5 o 7 ed introdurre 30/50 ml di liquido. Nota: il liquido è

soggetto ad asciugatura e potrebbe essere necessario reintro-

durne un quantitativo di circa 30 ml ogni 3/6 mesi.

5. Installare nuovamente il meccanismo della valvola prestando

attenzione a non avvitarlo troppo forte per evitare danni alla

valvola stessa. Utilizzi di utensili diversi da quello apposito pos-

sono portare al danneggiamento della valvola.

6. Posizionare lo pneumatico con la valvola ad ore 11 o

1 e gonarlo alla pressione desiderata facendo atten-

zione a non superare il limite indicato sull’etichetta.

Non superare la pressione di 5 bar su cerchi hookless.

7. Tenendo la ruota dal mozzo metterla in rotazione inclinandola

sui due anchi per permettere al liquido di raggiungere tutte le

superci interne.

MANUTENZIONE E SICUREZZA

Per la pulizia dello pneumatico utilizzate acqua e sapone neutro;

sono assolutamente da evitare detergenti aggressivi o solventi di

varia natura.

Il montaggio deve essere effettuato completamente a mano, qua-

lora l’installazione risultasse difcile avvalersi dell’uso di un caccia-

gomme; in nessun caso utilizzare oggetti diversi per l’installazione.

Non utilizzare sui rulli d’allenamento.

Veloex non si assume alcuna responsabilità per danni a cose e/o

persone causati dal liquido sigillante per tubeless ready.

CLINCHER TIRES

WARNING:

Use only rims whose dimensions are specied on the label of the

package.

Make sure the tire bead location has no sharp edges.

In case of tubeless rim tape, make sure it is correctly positioned

into the rim groove and not curled up onto the sidewalls of the rim.

INSTALLATION

1. Fit the rst tire bead into the rim groove.

2. Fit the second tire bead into the rim groove starting from the

opposite side from the valve for easier installation.

3. Remove the valve core from the body with the specic tool

and inate the tire up to the maximum specied pressure to

get the tire bead to seat against the rim, signalled by a “pop/

clack” noise. It may be necessary to use a tire booster or an air

compressor. Check the tire is evenly centred; otherwise deate

the tire and repeat the centring operation until the tire bead has

seated properly.

4. Energically shake the tubeless ready sealant bottle. Deate the

tire, position the valve at 5 or 7 o’clock and inject 30/50 ml of

sealant. Please note: as the sealant may dry it might be neces-

sary to insert other 30 ml every 3/6 months.

5. Install the valve core once again, avoid damaging it by screwing

the valve too tight. Using tools other than the specic one can

also damage the valve.

6. Seat the tire with the valve at 11 or 1 o’clock and inate at the

right pressure without exceeding the limit specied on the label.

Do not exceed 5 bars pressure on hookless rims.

7. -Roll the wheel by holding the hub, bending it onto the two side

walls to make the liquid spread evenly onto the inner surface.

MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY

Clean the tire only with neutral soap and water; avoid any solvents

or aggressive cleansers.

Mounting must be done entirely by hand.

In case of difculty installing the tire use a tire lever; never use any

other tool for the installation.

Do not use on training rollers.

Veloex will not accept responsibility for damage to things or peo-

ple caused by tubeless ready sealant.
