1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions
Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
Indoor use only.
Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.
Never leave the magnifying lens unattended where direct sunlight may pass through
it: this creates a fire hazard.
3. General Guidelines
Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
• Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
• Protect the device against extreme heat, dust and moisture.
• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Do not replace a damaged power cord yourself
but refer to an authorized dealer.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• There are no user-serviceable parts.
4. Installation/operation
• Open the table clamp by twisting the T-handle counter clockwise.
• Slide the clamp over a suitable and solid horizontal surface capable of carrying it, T-handle at the bottom.
• Twist the T-handle clockwise until the clamp is firmly secured to the surface.
• Slide the stem of the lamp into the hole on top of the clamp.
• Plug the power cable into a suitable mains outlet.
• Switch on the lamp with the On/Off button on top of the lamp.
• The magnifying lens is protected by a hard cover. Fold it upwards to use the lens. Do not force. Always close it
when not in use to avoid fire hazard (sunlight).

2. Instrucciones de seguridad
Mantenga el aparato lejos del alcance de personas no capacitadas y niños.
Sólo para el uso en interiores.
No exponga este equipo a lluvia, humedad, temperaturas extremas, polvo ni a ningún
tipo de salpicadura o goteo.
Nunca deje la lámpara con lupa en un lugar donde pueda ser expuesta directamente al
sol: esto crea un riesgo de incendio.

• No agite el aparato. Evite usar excesiva fuerza durante el manejo y la instalación.
• No exponga este aparato a polvo, humedad y temperaturas extremas.
• Familiarícese con el funcionamiento del aparato antes de utilizarlo.
• Por razones de seguridad, las modificaciones no autorizadas del aparato están prohibidas.
• Utilice sólo el aparato para las aplicaciones descritas en este manual. Su uso incorrecto anula la garantía
completamente.
• Los daños causados por descuido de las instrucciones de seguridad de este manual invalidarán su garantía y su
distribuidor no será responsable de ningún daño u otros problemas resultantes.
• El usuario no habrá de efectuar el mantenimiento de ninguna pieza.
4. Instalación/uso
• Gire la palanca en forma de ‘T’ en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj para abrir la abrazadera.
• Instale la abrazadera en una superficie sólida y estable con la palanca hacia abajo.
• Gire la palanca en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para fijar la lámpara con lupa a la superficie.
• Introduzca el brazo en la abertura prevista de la parte superior de la abrazadera.
• Conecte el cable de alimentación a la red eléctrica.
• Active la lámpara con lupa con el interruptor I/O.
• La lupa está equipada con una tapa protectora. Abra cuidadosamente esta tapa para utilizar la lupa. Vuelva a
cerrarla después del uso.

• pie de sobremesa: VTLAMPST1
