We congratulate you on the purchase of your new
product. You have chosen a high quality product.
The instructions for use are part of the product. They
contain important information concerning safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all of the safety information
and instructions for use. Only use the product as
described and for the speciïŹed applications. If you
pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure
that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
î™șProper use
The battery storage case is intended for storing
non-rechargeable batteries (battery type: D, C, AA,
AAA, 9V) and button cell batteries (not include
batteries). A battery tester is included and intended
for checking the residual voltage of disposable and
rechargeable batteries with a voltage of 1.5 and
9 volts. Both the battery storage case and the
battery tester are only suitable for indoor dry areas
use.
The product is only suitable for use in private
households and is not intended for commercial use.

CHILDREN!
Never allow children to play unsupervised with
the packaging material. There is a danger of
suïŹ€ocation from the packaging material.
Children frequently underestimate the dangers.
Children should be kept away from the product
at all times. This product is not a toy.
 This product can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the product in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with
the product. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without
supervision.
 Children must never be allowed to play with the
product.
 Do not use the product if it is damaged.
Damaged products represent a danger of death
from electric shock!
 Do not expose the product to
- extreme temperatures,
- strong vibrations,
- heavy mechanical loads,
- direct sunlight,
- moisture.
Otherwise there is a danger that the product
will be damaged.
 Please note that the guarantee does not cover
damage caused by incorrect handling, non-
compliance with the operating instructions or
interference with the product by unauthorised
individuals.
 Under no circumstances should you take the
product apart. Improper repairs may place the
user in considerable danger. Repairs should
only be carried out by specialist personnel.
 Please keep the product clean.
 Do not allow the product to be subjected to
extreme heat or cold.
 Do not allow the product to be subjected to
extreme temperature ïŹ‚uctuations. Failure to
observe this advice could lead to condensation
forming. Wait until the product has reached
temperature of the room before you use it.
 Before inspection, please read the
manufacturer’s instructions for the respective
battery.
Do not ïŹll the battery storage box too much, i.e.
do not exert too much -pressure on the folding
mechanism, this may destroy the storage box.
Do not allow water or moisture to enter the
storage box.
Do not let ïŹlled storage box submerge in water.
In case of damage to the box, or if moisture gets
inside the box, stop using it immediately.

 Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures, which could aïŹ€ect batteries /
rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct
sunlight.
 If batteries / rechargeable batteries have
leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush
immediately the aïŹ€ected areas with fresh water
and seek medical attention!

Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable
batteries from the product immediately.
This product contains coin / button cell
batteries. If a coin / button cell battery is
swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in
just 2 hours and can lead to death.
î™șBefore use
Note: Remove all packaging material from the
product.
The battery is already installed on delivery.
Pull the insulating strip out of the battery
compartment.
Your product is now ready for use.
î™șInsert / change battery
 Remove the battery compartment cover 3 at
the back of the battery tester. If necessary, use a
ïŹ‚at-head screwdriver; (see illustration).
 If applicable, remove the old battery. Insert a
battery (CR2032, 3V). The plus (+) symbol on
the battery must point outwards.
Note: Please observe the correct polarity. This
is indicated in the battery compartment.
 Then close the battery compartment again.
î™șOperating instructions
î™șMeasuring D, C, AA, AAA, N
and LR44 batteries
 Place a battery of the type D (see ïŹg. B), C (see
ïŹg. C), AA (see ïŹg. D), AAA (see ïŹg. E), N
(see ïŹg. F), LR44 (see ïŹg. G). Please observe
the correct polarity.
Note: Please ensure for proper contact
between the battery and the product.
 Read the voltage of the connected battery using
the voltage display 5 and the 1.5 V scale 4.
î™șMeasuring 9 V battery
 Position the 9 V battery on the test contacts 7
(see ïŹg. H).
Please observe the correct polarity that is shown
on the test contracts 7 .
Note: Please ensure for proper contact
between the battery and the test contacts 7 .
 Read the voltage of the connected battery using
the voltage display 5 and the 9 V scale 6.
HINTS:
Product does not react or the resulting
measurement is unlikely.
The battery has not been inserted properly.
Remove the battery and wait for a few
seconds, or press the reset button 2 on the
back of the product. For this purpose a paper
clip or a similar object can be used. Reinsert
the battery.
î™șCleaning and maintenance
 The product should only be cleaned on the
outside with a soft dry cloth.
 Under no circumstances should you use liquids
or detergents, as these will damage the product.

Leaked or damaged batteries /
rechargeable batteries can cause
burns on contact with the skin. Wear
suitable protective gloves at all times
if such an event occurs.
 In the event of a leakage of batteries /
rechargeable batteries, immediately remove
them from the product to prevent damage.
 Only use the same type of batteries /
rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and
new batteries / rechargeable batteries.
 Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the
product will not be used for a longer period.
Risk of damage of the product
Only use the speciïŹed type of battery /
rechargeable battery!
Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries
according to polarity marks (+) and (–) on the
battery / rechargeable battery and the product.
Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean
the contacts on the battery / rechargeable
not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening
hours can be obtained from your local
authority.
Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries
must be recycled in accordance with Directive
2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return
the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the
product to the available collection points.
Environmental damage through
incorrect disposal of the
batteries / rechargeable
batteries!
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be
disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They
may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations.
The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as
follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
That is why you should dispose of used batteries /
rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
PWarranty and service
PWarranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality
guidelines and meticulously examined before
delivery. In the event of product defects you have
legal rights against the retailer of this product.
Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our
warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the
date of purchase. The warranty period begins on
the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales
receipt in a safe location. This document is required
as your proof of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials
or manufacture within 3 years from the date of
purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our
choice – free of charge to you. This warranty
becomes void if the product has been damaged, or
used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material
or manufacture. This warranty does not cover
product parts subject to normal wear, thus
possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries)
or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches,
rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

Achten Sie darauf, dass weder Wasser noch
Feuchtigkeit in die Aufbewahrungsbox gelangt.
Die gefĂŒllte Aufbewahrungsbox darf nicht in
Wasser getaucht werden.
Bei SchĂ€den an oder Feuchtigkeit in der Box,
mĂŒssen Sie die Benutzung sofort einstellen.

Verschlucken kann zu Verbrennungen,

Schwere Verbrennungen können innerhalb von
2 Stunden nach dem Verschlucken auftreten.
 EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Laden Sie
nicht auïŹ‚adbare Batterien niemals
wieder auf. Schließen Sie Batterien /
Akkus nicht kurz und / oder Ă¶ïŹ€nen
Sie diese nicht. Überhitzung,
Brandgefahr oder Platzen können die
Folge sein.
Werfen Sie Batterien / Akkus niemals in Feuer
oder Wasser.
Setzen Sie Batterien / Akkus keiner
mechanischen Belastung aus.
Risiko des Auslaufens von Batterien /
Akkus
Vermeiden Sie extreme Bedingungen und
Temperaturen, die auf Batterien / Akkus
einwirken können z. B. auf Heizkörpern /

Wenn Batterien / Akkus ausgelaufen sind,
vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und
SchleimhĂ€uten mit den Chemikalien! SpĂŒlen Sie
die betroïŹ€enen Stellen sofort mit klarem Wasser
und suchen Sie einen Arzt auf!
 SCHUTZHANDSCHUHE
TRAGEN! Ausgelaufene oder
beschÀdigte Batterien / Akkus
können bei BerĂŒhrung mit der Haut
VerÀtzungen verursachen. Tragen
Sie deshalb in diesem Fall geeignete
Schutzhandschuhe.
Im Falle eines Auslaufens der Batterien / Akkus
entfernen Sie diese sofort aus dem Produkt, um
BeschÀdigungen zu vermeiden.
Verwenden Sie nur Batterien / Akkus des
gleichen Typs. Mischen Sie nicht alte Batterien /
Akkus mit neuen!
Entfernen Sie Batterien / Akkus, wenn das
Produkt lÀngere Zeit nicht verwendet wird.

Dieses Produkt beinhaltet Knopfzellen-
Batterien. Wird eine Knopfzellen-Batterie
heruntergeschluckt, kann sie innerhalb 2
Stunden ernsthafte innere VerÀtzungen
verursachen, die zum Tode fĂŒhren können.

î™șVor der Inbetriebnahme
Hinweis: Entfernen Sie alle
Verpackungsmaterialien vom Produkt.
Die Batterie ist bei Auslieferung bereits im
Produkt eingesetzt.
Ziehen Sie den Isolierstreifen aus dem
Batteriefach.
Das Produkt ist nun einsatzbereit.
î™șBatterie einsetzen / wechseln
Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung 3 an
der RĂŒckseite des BatterieprĂŒfers. Verwenden
Sie bei Bedarf einen Schlitzschraubendreher.
(siehe Abbildung).
Entfernen Sie die alte Batterie, falls notwendig.
Legen Sie eine Batterie ein (CR2032, 3 V).
Das Pluszeichen (+) an der Batterie muss nach
außen zeigen.
Hinweis: Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige
PolaritÀt. Diese wird im Batteriefach angezeigt.
 Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.

î™șD-, C-, AA-, AAA-, N- und LR44-
Batterien prĂŒfen
Legen Sie eine Batterie vom Typ D (siehe Abb.
B), C (siehe Abb. C), AA (siehe Abb. D), AAA
(siehe Abb. E), N (siehe Abb. F), LR44 (siehe
Abb. G) ein. Bitte achten Sie auf die PolaritÀt.
Hinweis: GewÀhrleisten Sie einen
angemessenen Kontakt zwischen Batterie und
Produkt.
 Lesen Sie mittels der Spannungsanzeige 5
und der 1,5 V-Skala 4 die Spannung der
angeschlossenen Batterie ab.
î™ș9 V Batterie messen
 Positionieren Sie die 9 V-Batterie an den
Testkontakten 7 (siehe Abb. H).
Bitte beachten Sie die richtige PolaritĂ€t.
Beachten Sie dazu die PrĂŒfkontakte 7 .
Hinweis: Achten Sie auf den einwandfreien
Kontakt zwischen Batterie und Testkontakten 7 .
 Lesen Sie mittels der Spannungsanzeige 5
und der 9 V-Skala 6 die Spannung der
angeschlossenen Batterie ab.
Hinweis:
Produkt reagiert nicht oder die resultierende
Messung ist unwahrscheinlich.
Die Batterie ist nicht korrekt platziert.
Entfernen Sie die Batterie und warten Sie
einige Sekunden, oder drĂŒcken Sie die Reset-
Taste 2
an der RĂŒckseite des Produktes. Zu
diesem Zweck können sie eine BĂŒroklammer
oder einen Àhnlichen Gegenstand verwenden.
Legen Sie die Batterie erneut ein.
î™șReinigung und PïŹ‚ege
 Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur Ă€ußerlich mit
einem weichen, trockenen Tuch.
