1. General information

•

Room thermostat for wall mounting or mounting on a

ush-mounted box

•

The room thermostat complies with EN 60730-2-9 when

installed as intended

•

The RAMSES S series consists of 7 devices: 4 devices

for surface mounting (7010003, 7030003, 7060003,

7080003) and 3 devices for ush mounting (7410300,

7460300, 7480300)

•

External input to connect an external temperature

sensor, oor sensor, etc. (NTC 100 kOhm/25 degrees)

(only for 7080003, 7480300)

•

Optional accessories:

Floor sensor (9070321), RAMSES temperature sensor

(9070459) and ext. temperature sensor (9070191,

9070496); matching cover frames for various switch

programmes (can be ordered optionally)

2. Safety

Assembly and installation should only be carried

out by a qualied electrician, somebody who has

completed appropriate professional training and

has the knowledge and experience necessary to be

able to recognise and avoid the potential dangers

posed by electricity.

Before installation/disassembly, disconnect the

mains voltage and ensure that the parts are no

longer live.

Prior to commissioning and using the product, read

and observe all the operating instructions.

3. Proper use

•

All types of heating can be regulated and controlled

with one room thermostat: gas, water, electric heating,

air conditioning and cooling systems, etc., in detached

houses, ofces, etc.

•

Only use devices in dry indoor rooms

4. Installation

The following must be observed for ideal temperature control:

Protect the room thermostat from moisture, dust, direct

sunlight, heat radiation and draughts.

Installing the room thermostat

You can either mount the room thermostat on the wall or on a

ush-mounted box.

Place the room thermostat on an interior wall, approxi-

mately at eye level (approx. 1.50-1.60 m).

Remove the adjusting wheel with a screwdriver.

Then release the snap-in connection with a screwdriver

from right to left and remove the upper part of the housing

.

Attach the back of the device to the wall (or to a ush-

mounted box) .

Assign and wire the wires (see connection diagrams).

Fit the front of the device, snap into place and t the

adjusting wheel .
