• Bewahren Sie das Gerät und die Batterie außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

• Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren und können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Wurde eine Batterie

verschluckt, kann dies innerhalb von 2 Stunden zu schweren inneren Verätzungen und zum Tode führen. Wenn Sie vermuten,

eine Batterie könnte verschluckt oder anderweitig in den Körper gelangt sein, nehmen Sie sofort medizinische Hilfe in

Anspruch.

• Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinandernehmen oder aufladen. Explosionsgefahr!

• Um ein Auslaufen der Batterien zu vermeiden, sollten schwache Batterien möglichst schnell ausgetauscht werden.

• Beim Hantieren mit ausgelaufenen Batterien chemikalienbeständige Schutzhandschuhe und Schutzbrille tragen!

• Vorsicht beim Umgang mit der Einstichsonde. Das Thermometer nur eingeklappt aufbewahren.

Wichtige Hinweise zur Produktsicherheit!

• Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und Erschütterungen aus.

• Nur der Edelstahl-Einstechfühler ist hitzebeständig bis 300°C.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Mikrowelle, im Backofen oder Grill.

• Halten Sie niemals den Fühler direkt über Feuer.

• Tauchen Sie das Anzeigeelement nicht in Wasser, sonst kann Feuchtigkeit eindringen und zu Fehlfunktionen führen. Nicht in

der Spülmaschine reinigen.

5. Inbetriebnahme und Temperaturmessung

• Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie vom Display.

•

Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie den Deckel mithilfe der beiliegenden Plastikscheibe in Pfeilrichtung (OPEN) drehen und

entfernen Sie den Batterieunterbrechungsstreifen. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder. Achten Sie dabei auf den Dichtungsring.

• Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch bei einem Ausklappwinkel von 45° an. Die Sonde hat einen Ausklappwinkel bis 180°.

• Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit und die Temperatur wird angezeigt.

• Der Sensor befindet sich in der Sondenspitze.

• Zum Messen der Kerntemperatur von Fleisch: Stecken Sie den Fühler mindestens 2 cm tief in die Mitte des dicksten Braten-

teils, bei Geflügel zwischen Rumpf und Schenkel; er sollte weder Knochen noch Knorpel berühren und nicht aus dem Braten

herausragen.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie die Einstichsonde einklappen und mit leichtem Druck in die dafür vorgesehene Aus-

sparung einführen. Ein Klicken ist zu hören.

6. Bedienung

6.1 Hintergrundbeleuchtung

• Drücken Sie die Taste, um die Hintergrundbeleuchtung für 5 Sekunden zu aktivieren.LICHT

6.2 Hold-Funktion

• Drücken Sie die Taste. Es wird die gemessene Temperatur festgehalten.HOLD/MAX MIN

• Drücken Sie die Taste noch einmal, gelangen Sie in den Normalmodus zurück.HOLD/MAX MIN

6.3 MAX/MIN-Funktion

• Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt. Das Gerät befindet sich im MAX/MIN-Modus.HOLD/MAX MIN

• Im Display erscheint MAX. Es wird der höchste Temperaturwert angezeigt seit dem Einschalten des Gerätes.

• Drücken Sie die Taste noch einmal. Im Display erscheint MIN. Es wird der tiefste Temperaturwert angezeigtHOLD/MAX MIN

seit dem Einschalten des Gerätes.

Caution!

• Keep this device and the battery out of reach of children.

• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious inter-

nal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body,

seek medical help immediately.

• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!

• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.

• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.

• Be careful when handling the sharp probe. Always store the instrument folded in.

Important information on product safety!

• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.

• Only the stainless steel probe is heat resistant up to 300 °C.

• Do not use the instrument in the microwave, oven or grill.

• Never hold the probe directly over a fire.

• Do not immerse the display unit in water. Water can penetrate and cause malfunction. Not suitable for dishwasher.

5. Getting started and measuring temperature

• Remove the protective film from the display.

• Open the battery compartment by turning the lid in direction of the arrow (OPEN) using the enclosed plastic disc and remove

the battery insulation strip. Close the battery compartment again. Pay attention to the sealing ring.

• The instrument automatically turns on at an angle of 45°. The instrument has a total angle of 180°.

• The device is ready for use and the temperature is displayed.

• The sensor is located at the probe tip.

• For measuring the core temperature of meat: Plunge the probe at least 2.5 cm into the middle of the thickest part of the

meat; for poultry, between the torso and the thigh - it should not touch bones or cartilage and it should not protrude from the

meat.

• Turn off the instrument by retracting the probe. Insert the probe with a slight pressure into the provided slot. A click is heard.

6. Operation

6.1 Backlight

• Press the light button to activate the backlight for 5 seconds.

6.2 HOLD function

• Press the button. The hold-function for the current temperature is activated.HOLD/MAX MIN

• Press the button again and you will return to normal mode.HOLD/MAX MIN

6.3 MAX/MIN function

• Press and hold the button. The instrument is now in the MAX/MIN mode.HOLD/MAX MIN

• MAX appears on the display. The highest temperature is displayed since the instrument is switched on.

• Press the button again. MIN appears on the display. The lowest temperature is displayed since the instru-HOLD/MAX MIN

ment is switched on.

• Press and hold the button in the MAX/MIN mode to clear the recorded reading. HOLD/MAX MIN

• Press the button again to exit the MAX/MIN mode.HOLD/MAX MIN

6.4 °C/°F display change

• Press the button, to change between °C (default) or °F as temperature unit. °C/°F

6.5 Energiesparmodus

• Bei Nichtbenutzung in ausgeklapptem Zustand wird nach ca. 10 Minuten der Energiesparmodus aktiviert. Das Gerät schaltet

sich automatisch aus. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste und auf dem Display erscheint die Temperatur wieder.

7. Pflege und Wartung

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden! Das Gerät

ist abwaschbar unter fließendem Wasser.

• Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden.

• Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.

7.1 Batteriewechsel

• Wenn das Display schwächer wird, wechseln Sie bitte die Batterie.

• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie mithilfe der beiliegenden Plastikscheibe den Batteriefachdeckel nach links drehen

(Pfeilrichtung) und legen Sie eine neue Batterie (CR2032) ein (+ Pol nach oben).

• Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder, indem Sie den Batteriefachdeckel nach rechts drehen.

•Hinweis: Vor dem Batteriewechsel muss das Gerät ausgeschaltet sein (Temperaturfühler einklappen).

8. Kalibrierung der Temperaturanzeige

• Das Thermometer ist ab Werk eingestellt. Diese Funktion erlaubt es dem Anwender, die Anzeige der Temperaturmesswerte

mithilfe einer Referenzquelle (Eiswasser) neu zu kalibrieren.

• Klappen Sie die Einstichsonde aus.

• Stecken Sie den Einstechfühler für 3 Minuten in ein Gefäß mit Eiswasser, bis die Temperatur sich nicht mehr verändert.

Beachten Sie dabei, dass der Fühler mindestens zu zwei Drittel seiner Länge eingetaucht ist.

• Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt (ca. 5 Sek), um in den Kalibrierungsmodus zu gelangen.°C/°F

• CAL blinkt auf dem Display und kurz danach 0°C /32°F.

• Optional: Sie können während dieser Zeit mit der + oder - Taste einen anderen Wert einstellen (VoraussetzungLICHT HOLD

ist ein zuverlässiger Messwert).

• Bestätigen Sie mit der Taste. PASS erscheint auf dem Display.°C/°F

• Das Gerät ist nun kalibriert.

• Herstellung von Eiswasser: Thermoskanne mit klein gestoßenem Eis komplett füllen. Danach die Thermoskanne mit kaltem

Wasser auffüllen, so dass keine Luft mehr in den Zwischenräumen ist. Nach ca. 30 Minuten hat sich eine Temperatur von

0°C (+0,1°C) im Eiswasser der Thermoskanne gebildet.

6.5 Sleep mode

• The sleep mode is activated when the instrument is not in use (approx. 10 minutes) and the probe is unfolded. The instru-

ment will turn off automatically. Press any button and the temperature reappears again on the display.

7. Care and maintenance

• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents. The device is washable under running

water.

• Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long period of time.

• Keep the device in a dry place.

7.1 Battery replacement

• Change the battery when the display starts to fade.

• Open the battery compartment by turning the lid to the left (in the arrow direction) using the enclosed plastic disc and insert

a new CR 2032 battery (+pole above).

• Close the battery compartment by turning the lid to the right.

•Note: The instrument must be switched off before changing the battery (the temperature probe should be folded).

8. Calibration of the temperature display

• The thermometer has been adjusted in the factory. This function allows the user to recalibrate the temperature measure-

ments with a reference source (ice water).

• Fold out the probe.

• Put the instrument for 3 minutes into a bowl with ice water until the temperature does not change anymore. Note that the

probe is immersed at least two-thirds of its length.

• Press and hold the button (5 sec.) to get into the calibration mode.°C/°F

• CAL and shortly after 0°C/32°F flash on the display.

• Optional: You can enter a different value by pressing the + or - button (assuming a reliable measured value). LIGHT HOLD

• Confirm with the button. PASS appears on the display.°C/°F

• The device is now calibrated.

• Producing of ice water: Fill up a thermos bottle with crushed ice. Then fill cold water into the thermos bottle until the air

comes out of the bottle. After approximately 30 minutes the ice water has a temperature of 0°C (+0,1°C).

10. Waste disposal

required by law to take them to your retail store or to an appropriate collection site depending on national or local

regulations in order to protect the environment.

• Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche pour quitter le mode MAX/MIN.HOLD/MAX MIN

6.4 Commutation °C/°F

• Appuyez sur la touche °C/°F, pour passer de l’affichage de la température en degrés °C (par défaut) à l’affichage en degrés °F.

6.5 Mode économie d’énergie

• Lorsque l'appareil est déplié et qu’il n'est pas utilisé, le mode économie d’énergie est activé après 10 minutes. L'appareil

s'arrête automatiquement. Appuyez sur une touche de votre choix et l'écran affiche à nouveau la température.

7. Entretien et maintenance

• Pour le nettoyage de votre appareil, utilisez un chiffon doux et humide. N’utilisez pas de solvants ou d'agents abrasifs !

L'appareil doit être lavé à l'eau courante.

• Retirez la pile si vous n'utilisez pas votre appareil pendant une durée prolongée.

• Conservez votre appareil dans un endroit sec.

7.1 Remplacement de la pile

• Remplacez la pile si l’affichage s’affaiblit.

• Ouvrez le compartiment à pile en tournant le couvercle vers la gauche en direction de la flèche (en utilisant le disque en plas-

tique fourni) et insérez une nouvelle pile CR 2032 (polarité + vers le haut).

• Refermez le compartiment à pile en tournant le couvercle vers la droite.

•Remarque : Veuillez-vous assurer que votre appareil est éteint avant de changer la pile (la sonde de température doit être

repliée.)

8. Étalonnage de l'affichage de la température

• Le thermomètre est réglé en usine. Cette fonction permet à l'utilisateur d'étalonner l'affichage de la température avec une

source de référence (eau glacée).

• Dépliez la sonde.

• Insérez la sonde pendant 3 minutes dans un récipient contenant de l'eau glacée, jusqu'à ce que la température reste constante.

• Si vous maintenez la touche appuyée (pendant 5 secondes), vous passez en mode d’étalonnage.°C/°F

• Sur l'écran clignote CAL et 0°C /32°F peu de temps après.

• Optionnel : Vous pouvez alors changer la valeur avec la touche + ou ECLAIRAGE HOLD - (sous réserve d'une valeur fiable).

• Validez au moyen de la touche . PASS apparaît sur l'écran.°C/°F

• L'appareil est maintenant calibré.

• Fabrication d'eau glacée : remplir complètement une bouteille thermos de glace pilée. Remplir ensuite la bouteille thermos

d'eau froide, de sorte qu'il ne reste plus d'air dans les interstices. Après environ 30 minutes de l'eau glacée s'est formée

dans la bouteille thermos et possède une température de 0°C (+0,1°C).

• Le produit est destiné uniquement à l'utilisation décrite ci-dessus. N'utilisez jamais l’appareil à d'autres fins que celles décri-

tes dans le présent mode d'emploi.

• Vous ne devez en aucun cas réparer, démonter ou modifier l'appareil par vous-même.

• Cet appareil ne convient pas à une utilisation médicale.

Attention !

Danger de blessure !

• Gardez votre appareil et la pile hors de la portée des enfants.

• Les piles contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé et peuvent être mortelles dans le cas d’une ingestion. Si une pile a été

avalée, elle peut entraîner des brûlures internes graves ainsi que la mort dans l’espace de 2 heures. Si vous craignez qu’une

pile ait pu être avalée ou ingérée d’une autre manière, quelle qu’elle soit, contactez immédiatement un médecin d’urgence.

• Ne jetez jamais de piles dans le feu, ne les court-circuitez pas, ne les démontez pas et ne les rechargez pas. Risque d'explosion !

• Une pile faible doit être remplacée le plus rapidement possible afin d'éviter toute fuite.

• Pour manipuler des piles qui ont coulé, utilisez des gants de protection chimique spécialement adaptés et portez des lunettes

de protection !

• Soyez prudent en utilisant la sonde ! Assurez-vous toujours que le thermomètre est plié lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.

Conseils importants de sécurité du produit !

• Évitez d’exposer l’appareil à des températures extrêmes, à des vibrations ou à des chocs.

• Seule la sonde en acier inoxydable est résistante à une chaleur de 300 °C.

• N'utilisez jamais votre appareil dans un four à micro-ondes, un four ou un grill.

• Ne placez jamais la sonde directement sur le feu.

• N'immergez pas l'appareil d'affichage dans l'eau car l'humidité pourrait pénétrer et causer un dysfonctionnement. Votre in-

strument ne peut pas être lavé au lave-vaisselle.

5. Mise en service et mesure de la température

• Retirez le film de protection de l'affichage.

• Ouvrez le compartiment à pile en tournant le couvercle dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre (en utilisant le dis-

que en plastique fourni) et enlevez le film de protection de pile. Refermez le compartiment à pile. Ce faisant faites attention à

l'anneau de protection en caoutchouc.

• L'appareil se met automatiquement sur un angle de 45°. La sonde dispose d'un angle total de 180°.

• Votre appareil est maintenant prêt à fonctionner et la température est affichée sur l'écran.

• Le palpeur se trouve à la pointe de la sonde.

• Pour la mesure de la température à cœur de la viande : insérez la sonde au minimum à 2 cm de profondeur dans la partie la

plus épaisse de la viande, pour les volailles entre la carcasse et la cuisse ; la pointe ne doit pas être en contact avec les os ou

avec le cartilage. Elle ne doit pas dépasser du morceau de viande.

• Éteignez l’appareil en repliant la sonde. Pousser la sonde avec une légère pression dans l’espace prévu à cet effet. Un clic se

fait entendre.

6. Utilisation

6.1 Éclairage de fond

• Appuyez sur la touche pour activer l'éclairage de fond pendant 5 secondes.ECLAIRAGE

Attenzione!

Pericolo di lesioni:

• Tenete il dispositivo e la batteria lontano dalla portata dei bambini.

• Le batterie contengono acidi nocivi per la salute. Se ingerite, le batterie possono essere mortali. Se una batteria venisse inge-

rita, potrebbe causare gravi ustioni e portare alla morte nel giro di due ore. Se si sospetta che una batteria sia stata ingerita o

inserita nel corpo in altra maniera, consultare immediatamente un medico.

• Non gettare le batterie nel fuoco, non polarizzarle in maniera scorretta, non smontarle e non cercare di ricaricarle. Pericolo di

esplosione!

• Sostituite quanto prima le batterie quasi scariche, in modo da evitare che si scarichino completamente.

• Quando si maneggiano batterie esaurite indossare sempre guanti resistenti alle sostanze chimiche e occhiali di protezione.

• Maneggiare con attenzione la sonda. Riporre il dispositivo sempre con la sonda piegata.

Avvertenze sulla sicurezza del prodotto!

• Non esporre l'apparecchio a temperature estreme, vibrazioni e urti.

• Solo la sonda è resistente alle alte temperature fino a 300 °C.

• Non utilizzare il dispositivo nel forno a microonde, nel forno o nella griglia.

• Non tenere mai il sensore direttamente sopra la fiamma.

• Non immergere l'unità di display in acqua: l’umidità può penetrare e causare errori di funzionamento. Non adatto per lavasto-

viglie.

5. Messa in funzione e misura della temperatura

• Rimuovere il foglio protettivo dal display.

• Aprire il vano batteria ruotando il coperchio (utilizzando il disco di plastica fornito) in direzione della freccia (OPEN) e togliere

la striscia d’interruzione dalla batteria. Richiudere il vano batteria. Fare attenzione alla guarnizione.

• L'apparecchio si accende automaticamente con un angolo di 45°.

• L'apparecchio p3-ha un angolo massimo di 180°.

• L'apparecchio è pronto per l'uso. Appare la temperatura attuale.

• Il sensore si trova nella punta della sonda.

•

Per misurare la temperatura interna della carne: Inserire la sonda ad almeno 2 cm di profondità al centro della parte di carne più

spessa, per il pollame tra il petto e le cosce; la punta non deve toccare né le ossa né la cartilagine e non deve sporgere dall’arrosto.

• Per spegnere l'apparecchio ripiegare la sonda inserendola nelle apposite scanalature, esercitando una leggera pressione. Si

sente un clic.

6. Uso

6.1 Retroilluminazione

• Premere il tasto per attivare la retroilluminazione dopo 5 secondi. LUCE

6.2 Funzione HOLD

• Premere il tasto . Viene fissata la temperatura misurata.HOLD/MAX MIN

• Premere il tasto per ritornare alla modalità normale.HOLD/MAX MIN

6.3 Funzione MAX/MIN

• Tenere premuto il tasto . Il dispositivo si trova in modalità MAX/MIN.HOLD/MAX MIN

• MAX appare sul display. Viene visualizzata la temperatura massima registrata a partire dall'accensione del dispositivo.

• Premere nuovamente il tasto . MIN appare sul display. Viene visualizzato la temperatura minima registrata aHOLD/MAX MIN

partire dall'accensione del dispositivo.

• Tenere premuto il tasto in modalità MAX/MIN per riportare la visualizzazione ai valori attuali. HOLD/MAX MIN

• Premere nuovamente il tasto per uscire dalla modalità MAX/MIN.HOLD/MAX MIN

u niet dat uw wettelijke rechten door verkeerd gebruik niet meer gelden. Voor schade die wordt veroorzaakt doordat u

geen rekening houdt met de handleiding aanvaarden wij geen aansprakelijkheid.

•Ook zijn wij niet verantwoordelijk voor verkeerde metingen en de mogelijke gevolgen die daaruit voortvloeien.

•Volg in elk geval de veiligheidsinstructies op!

2. Hoe u uw nieuw apparaat kunt gebruiken en alle voordelen ervan in één oogopslag

3. Voor uw veiligheid

• Het product is uitsluitend geschikt voor de hierboven beschreven doeleinden. Gebruik het product niet anders dan in deze

handleiding is aangegeven.

• Het eigenmachtig repareren, verbouwen of veranderen van het apparaat is niet toegestaan.

• Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor medische doeleinden.

Voorzichtig!

Kans op letsel:

• Bewaar het apparaat en de batterij buiten de reikwijdte van kinderen.

• Batterijen bevatten zuren die de gezondheid schaden. Het inslikken van batterijen kan levensgevaarlijk zijn. Als een batterij

wordt ingeslikt, kan dit binnen 2 uur tot ernstige interne brandwonden en tot fataal letsel leiden. Als u denkt dat de batterijen

zijn ingeslikt of in een willekeurig lichaamsdeel terecht zijn gekomen, dient u onmiddellijk medische hulp te zoeken.

• Batterijen niet in het vuur gooien, niet kortsluiten, niet uit elkaar halen of opladen. Kans op explosie!

• Zwakke batterijen moeten zo snel mogelijk worden vervangen om lekkage van de batterijen te voorkomen.

• Draag handschoenen die bestand zijn tegen chemicaliën en een beschermbril wanneer u met uitgelopen batterijen hanteert!

• Wees erg voorzichtig met de meetvoeler om ongelukken te voorkomen. Bewaar de thermometer opgeklapt.

Belangrijke informatie voor de productveiligheid!

• Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan extreme temperaturen, trillingen en schokken.

• Alleen de voeler uit roestvrij staal is hittebestendig tot 300 °C.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet in de magnetron, bakoven of grill.

• Houdt de voeler nooit vlak boven het vuur.

• Dompel het afleeselement niet in water, anders kan er vocht binnendringen en dit tot functiestoringen leiden. Niet geschikt

voor de vaatwasser.

5. Inbedrijfstelling en temperatuurmeting

• Verwijder de beschermfolie van het display.

• Open het batterijvak met behulp van de bijgevoegde plastic schijf en draai het deksel in de richting van de pijl (OPEN), ver-

wijder de batterijstrip. Sluit het batterijvak weer. Zorg voor de sluitring.

• Het apparaat wordt automatisch ingeschakeld bij een hoek van 45°. De sonde heeft een totale hoek van 180°.

• Het apparaat is nu bedrijfsklaar en de actuele temperatuur verschijnt op het display.

• De sensor bevindt zich in het sondepunt.

• Voor het meten van de kerntemperatuur van het vlees: steek de meetvoeler minstens 2 cm diep midden in het dikste gedeelte

van het vlees, van het gevogelte tussen romp en poten; botten of kraakbeen mogen er niet mee in aanraking komen. De

meetvoeler mag niet uit het vlees steken.

• Schakel het apparaat uit door opnieuw de sonde dicht te klappen en duw het met een lichte druk in de voor haar voorgeziene

uitsparing. Men hoort een klik.

6. Bediening

6.1 Achtergrondverlichting

• Druk op de toets en de achtergrondverlichting gaat gedurende 5 seconden branden.LICHT

6.2 HOLD functie

• Druk op de toets. De temperatuurmeting wordt vastgehouden.HOLD/MAX MIN

• Druk nog eens op de toets om naar de normaalmodus terug te keren.HOLD/MAX MIN

6.3 MAX/MIN functie

• Houdt de toets ingedrukt. Het apparaat is in de MAX/MIN-modus.HOLD/MAX MIN

• MAX verschijnt op het display. De hoogste temperatuur wordt weergegeven sinds het apparaat is ingeschakeld.

• Druk nog eens op de toets. MIN verschijnt op het display. De laagste temperatuur wordt weergegeven sindsHOLD/MAX MIN

het apparaat is ingeschakeld.

• Houdt de toets in de MAX/MIN-modus ingedrukt om de MAX/MIN waarden te resetten. HOLD/MAX MIN

• Druk nog eens op de toets, om de MAX/MIN modus te verlaten.HOLD/MAX MIN

6.4 Commutazione °C/°F

• Premere il tasto per scegliere fra la visualizzazione della temperatura in gradi °C (predefinito) o °F. °C/°F

6.5 Modalità di risparmio energetico

• In caso di mancato utilizzo, viene attivata la modalità di risparmio energetico dopo circa 10 minuti, se la sonda non è piegata.

L'apparecchio si spegne automaticamente. Premere un tasto a piacere e sul display viene visualizzato di nuovo la temperatura.

7. Cura e manutenzione

• Per pulire l'apparecchio utilizzare solo un panno morbido leggermente inumidito. Non usare solventi o abrasivi. L'apparec-

chio è lavabile in acqua corrente.

• Rimuovere la batteria, se non si utilizza l'apparecchio per un periodo prolungato.

• Collocare il dispositivo in un luogo asciutto.

7.1 Sostituzione della batteria

• Cambiate la batteria se le indicazioni sul display diventano più deboli.

• Aprire il vano batteria ruotando il coperchio (utilizzando il disco di plastica fornito) verso sinistra in direzione della freccia.

Inserire una batteria tipo CR2032 (polo + verso l'alto).

• Richiudere di nuovo il vano batteria ruotando il coperchio verso destra.

•Nota: Prima di sostituire la batteria, il dispositivo deve essere spento (ripiegare la sonda).

8. Calibrazione dell'indicazione della temperatura

• Il termometro viene inviato tarato dalla fabbrica. Questa funzione consente all'utente di calibrare la visualizzazione di tempe-

ratura con una fonte di riferimento (acqua gelata).

• Aprire la sonda.

• Inserire la sonda per 3 minuti in un contenitore con acqua gelata fino a che la temperatura non cambi più. Tenete presente

che per questa operazione la sonda deve essere immersa per almeno i due terzi della sua lunghezza.

• Tenendo premuto per 5 secondi il tasto , per passare alla modalità calibrazione.°C/°F

• Sul display lampeggia CAL e in seguito 0°C /32°F.

•

Opzionale: Mentre lampeggia, potete impostare il valore con il tasto - (assumendo un valore di misura affidabile). LUCE + o HOLD

• Confermare con il tasto . Sul display appare PASS.°C/°F

• L'apparecchio è ora calibrato.

• Preparazione dell'acqua gelata: Riempire completamente una caraffa termica con ghiaccio in pezzetti piccoli. Riempire la

caraffa termica con acqua in modo che non vi sia più aria negli interstizi. Dopo circa 30 minuti, nell'acqua gelata della caraffa

termica si è creata una temperatura di 0°C (+0,1°C).

10. Smaltimento

Questo prodotto è stato realizzato utilizzando materiali e componenti di alta qualità che possono essere riciclati e riutilizzati.

È assolutamente vietato gettate le batterie tra i rifiuti domestici.

In qualità di consumatori, siete tenuti per legge a consegnare le batterie usate al negoziante o ad altri enti preposti

al riciclaggio in conformità alle vigenti disposizioni nazionali o locali, ai fini di uno smaltimento ecologico.

Le sigle dei metalli pesanti contenuti sono: Cd=cadmio, Hg=mercurio, Pb=piombo

Questo apparecchio è etichettato in conformità alla Direttiva UE sullo smaltimento delle apparecchiature elettriche

ed elettroniche (WEEE).
