TheLP8863-Q1isanautomotivehigh-efficiencyLED

driverwithboostcontroller.Thesixhigh-precision

currentsinkssupportphaseshiftingthatis

automaticallyadjustedbasedonthenumberof

channelsinuse.Currentsinkbrightnesscanbe

controlledindividuallyandgloballythroughtheSPIor

I2Cinterface;brightnesscanalsobeglobally

controlledwithPWMinput.

Theboostcontrollerhasadaptiveoutputvoltage

controlbasedontheheadroomvoltagesoftheLED

currentsinks.Thisfeatureminimizesthepower

consumptionbyadjustingthevoltagetothelowest

sufficientlevelinallconditions.Awide-range

adjustablefrequencyallowstheLP8863-Q1toavoid

disturbanceforAMradioband.

TheLP8863-Q1supportsbuilt-inhybridPWMand

currentdimming,whichreducesEMI,extendsthe

LEDlifetime,andincreasesthetotaloptical

efficiency.
