TheLMX2594isahigh-performance,wideband

synthesizerthatcangenerateanyfrequencyfrom10

MHzto15GHzwithoutusinganinternaldoubler,

thuseliminatingtheneedforsub-harmonicfilters.The

high-performancePLLwithfigureofmeritof–236

dBc/Hzandhigh-phasedetectorfrequencycanattain

verylowin-bandnoiseandintegratedjitter.Thehigh-

speedN-dividerhasnopre-divider,thussignificantly

reducingtheamplitudeandnumberofspurs.Thereis

alsoaprogrammableinputmultipliertomitigate

integerboundaryspurs.

TheLMX2594allowsuserstosynchronizetheoutput

ofmultipledevicesandalsoenablesapplicationsthat

needdeterministicdelaybetweeninputandoutput.A

frequencyrampgeneratorcansynthesizeuptotwo

segmentsoframpinanautomaticrampgeneration

optionoramanualoptionformaximumflexibility.The

fastcalibrationalgorithmallowschangingfrequencies

fasterthan20µs.TheLMX2594addssupportfor

generatingorrepeatingSYSREF(compliantto

JESD204Bstandard)designedforlow-noiseclock

sourcesinhigh-speeddataconverters.Afinedelay
