TheLMR16006isaPWMDC/DCbuck(step-down)

regulator.Withawideinputrangeof4Vto60V,itis

suitableforawiderangeofapplicationfromindustrial

toautomotiveforpowerconditioningfroman

unregulatedsource.Theregulator’sstandbycurrent

is28µAinECOmode,whichissuitableforbattery

operatingsystems.Anultralow1µAshutdown

currentcanfurtherprolongbatterylife.Operating

frequencyisfixedat0.7MHz(Xversion)and2.1

MHz(Yversion)allowingtheuseofsmallexternal

componentswhilestillbeingabletohavelowoutput

ripplevoltage.Soft-startandcompensationcircuits

areimplementedinternally,whichallowsthedeviceto

beusedwithminimizedexternalcomponents.The

LMR16006isoptimizedforupto600mAload

currents.Ithasa0.765Vtypicalfeedbackvoltage.

Thedevicehasbuilt-inprotectionfeaturessuchas

pulsebypulsecurrentlimit,thermalsensingand

shutdownduetoexcessivepowerdissipation.The
