DS90UB922-Q1,DS90UB926Q-Q1,DS90UB928Q-

Q1,DS90UB948-Q1,orDS90UB940-Q1deserializer,

providesacompletedigitalinterfaceforconcurrent

transmissionofhigh-speedvideo,audio,andcontrol

dataforautomotivedisplayandimagesensing

applications.

Thechipsetisideallysuitedforautomotivevideo-

displaysystemswithWVGAandHDformats.The

DS90UB921-Q1incorporatesanembedded

bidirectionalcontrolchannelandlowlatencyGPIO

controls.Thischipsettranslatesaparallelinterface

intoasinglepairhigh-speedserializedinterface.The

serialbusscheme,FPD-LinkIII,supportsfullduplex

ofhigh-speedvideodatatransmissionand

bidirectionalcontrolcommunicationoverasinglelink.

Consolidationofvideodataandcontroloverasingle

differentialpair(orsinglewire)reducesthe

interconnectsizeandweight,whilealsoeliminating

skewissuesandsimplifyingsystemdesign.

TheDS90UB921-Q1serializerembedstheclock,DC

scrambles&balancesthedatapayload,andlevel

shiftsthesignalstohigh-speedlowvoltage

differential(orsingle-ended)signaling.Upto24data

bitsareserializedalongthevideocontrolsignals.

EMIisminimizedbytheuseoflowvoltageswing

signaling,datascramblingandrandomizationand

spreadspectrumclockingcompatibility.
