1. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface; do not use it on uneven tile, flooring,
or carpeting. Try to keep your scale in the same location or position as much as
possible.
2. Step on the scale with one foot, applying enough pressure to turn the scale on -
then remove your foot.
3. The digital readout should show dashes or zeros.
4. The scale will automatically turn off.
5. Now your scale is ready for you to take a weight reading. Step on the scale evenly
with both feet.
6. If you pick up, move, or bump your scale, please repeat the steps above for best
accuracy.

Quick Use & Helpful Tips
Preparation Before Use
• Some models have a static cling label on the LCD lens to prevent scratching.
Remove before use.
SET THE SCALE IN THE RIGHT POSITION
• Always use the scale on a flat and hard floor surface. Do not use on carpets.
START-UP THE SCALE
• Press firmly once on the scale platform to start-up the scale.
The display shows “” and then turns off. 0.0
The scale is ready for use.
Note: If you move the scale at all, please repeat the steps above for best accuracy.
INSERT THE BATTERY
1. Use 3 AAA (1.5V) batteries (included).
2. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the
scale.
3. Remove the old batteries from the compartment.
4. Place new batteries in the compartment following the ‘+’ and
‘-‘ polarity symbols.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover, making sure it clicks
securely in place.
WEIGHT UNIT SETTING
• Your scale is set at the factory to weigh in pounds (lb).
• You may select kilograms units of measurement by pressing the unit button located on the
back of the scale while the scale is on. (Press firmly on the platform to turn the scale on.)

• The scale will turn off automatically.
• Place your feet in the same position every time you weigh yourself. Stand still during
measurement.
• Weigh yourself without clothing whenever possible. Clothes can vary in weight.
• Move the scale to a location where it won’t be bumped. If your scale is bumped while being
activated or while in use, an inaccurate reading may occur.
• For the most consistent readings, weigh yourself at the same time of day. Allow for weight
fluctuations due to food or drink in your system.

“” Low Battery Warning. Replace the 3 AAA (1.5V) batteries.Lo
“” Zero Position Change. Indicates the current weight Err0
result may not be accurate. Restart the scale again by
pressing lightly on the platform and allowing it to turn off
automatically. The scale will reinitialize and is ready for use.
“” Weight cannot be locked. Be sure to stand completely Err1
still while the scale is reading the weight.
“” Overload Warning. The maximum weighing capacity Err2
of the scale has been exceeded. Remove the weight
immediately otherwise, permanent damage to the scale may
occur.
“” Calibration Error. The scale needs to be recalibrated. C
Step off the platform and allow the display to turn off. Then
step on the scale again and remain still while the scale
computes. Your weight cannot be locked in if you do not
stand still.
• Step onto the scale and stand still
while the weight is being measured.
The weight value will blink, and then
the “” icon will appear. If the STEP OFF
user does not step off, the scale will
automatically shut off.
• Upon stepping off, the scale will cycle
between user numbers 1 and 2.
How To Use Your Scale
This scale includes a weight tracking feature, which shows the amount of weight change
compared to the previously saved measurement.
• Select the user number by pressing the button on the top of
the scale when the desired user number appears. The scale will
automatically shut off shortly if the button is not pressed.
• If your current weight is within + / - 6.6 lbs of your previous
• weight reading, the scale will automatically recognize your
user number.
• If your current weight is greater than + / - 6.6 lbs, please
select the correct user number by pressing the button when
the number appears.
• If there are 2 users that weigh within + / - 6.6 lbs of each
other, select the correct user number by pressing the
button when the user number appears.
• The current weight has been saved under
the selected user number.
• The display will show the previous weight
saved and the difference between the
current reading.
• If there has been weight loss in the
previously saved reading, the display
will show a downward-facing arrow
and the amount of weight lost.
• If there has been weight gain since
the previously saved reading, the
display will show an upward-facing
arrow and the amount of weight
gained.
• If there has not been a change in
weight since the previously saved
reading, the scale will display a “”.0.0
To clear all user data, press and hold the unit button on
the bottom of the scale for 10 seconds. The display will
show "" for 3 seconds before the scale automatically clr
shuts off.

NOTE: If you are the 2nd user and weigh within 6.6 lb of the 1st user: When taking your first
reading, after the weight stabilizes, press the button on the side of the base and select user
