GETTING THE BEST FROM YOUR SENSOR BIN

Thank you for choosing this Swan sensor bin. Please read these instructions carefully, they will tell you how to get the best out of your product. Swan sensor bins

are made from high grade, materials that will look great and give many years of faithful service

1. Open the cover of the battery case at the bottom of the Lid and equip it with four batteries “AA’” observe correct polarity.

2. Place the bin liner in the center of the bin and fold the top of the bag over the edge of the bin. Then place the retaining ring over the liner to secure it into

position.

3. Turn on the power switch at the bottom of the lid. The red indicator light will be on for 2 seconds. And then it flashes once every 4 seconds which shows

that the sensor system is working properly.

4. When putting rubbish into it, keep your hand/object about 5-15cm in front of the inductive window, the lid will open automatically within 0.5 seconds, then

it will close automatically in about 5-6 seconds after your hand/object is removed from the sensor area. Keeping your hand/object within the sensor area

which will keep it open.

5. The indicator light flashes red (every 4 seconds). When the lid opens, the indicator light shows yellow. When the lid closes, the indicator light shows red.

6. The batteries can last about 3- 6 months, assuming the dustbin opens and closes 20 times one day. High-alkaline batteries can last up to 2 years on

standby only.

7. Do not discard spent batteries in household waste. Always dispose of at recycling centre.

This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of original purchase. If any defect arises due to faulty materials or workmanship, the faulty products must

be returned to the place of purchase. Refund or replacement is at the discretion of the store. The following conditions apply:

• The product must be used in accordance with the instructions contained in this instruction guide.
