WARNING

As the main plug is used to disconnect the unit

from the mains, connect the unit to an easily

accessible AC outlet. Should you notice an

abnormality in the unit, disconnect the main plug

from the AC outlet immediately.

The unit is not disconnected from the AC power

source (mains) as long as it is connected to the

wall outlet, even if the unit itself has been turned

off.

The nameplate and important information

concerning safety are located on the bottom

exterior.

Precautions



To disconnect AC power, grasp the plug itself,

not the cord.



Since a strong magnet is used for the speaker,

keep credit cards using magnetic coding or

spring-wound watches, CRT-based TVs, or

projectors, etc., away from the unit to prevent

possible damage from the magnet.



Do not leave the unit in a location near a heat

source such as a radiator or airduct, or in a

place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust,

mechanical vibration, or shock.



Allow adequate air circulation to prevent

internal heat build-up. Do not place the unit on

a surface (a rug, a blanket, etc.) or near

materials (a curtain) which might block the

ventilation holes.



Should any solid object or liquid fall into the

unit, unplug the unit and have it checked by

qualified personnel before operating it any

further.



During a thunderstorm, do not touch the

antenna (aerial) and plug.



Do not touch the unit with wet hands.



Do not place the unit anywhere near water.

NOTES ON LITHIUM BATTERY



Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a

good contact.



Be sure to observe the correct polarity when

installing the battery.



Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers,

otherwise a short-circuit may occur.

0.0005% mercury or 0.004% lead.

By ensuring these batteries are disposed of

correctly, you will help prevent potentially

negative consequences for the environment and

human health which could otherwise be caused

by inappropriate waste handling of the battery.

The recycling of the materials will help to

In case of products that for safety, performance or

data integrity reasons require a permanent

connection with an incorporated battery, this

battery should be replaced by qualified service

Operations

Power source

This unit contains a CR2032 battery as a backup

power source to keep the clock and the alarm

operating during a power interruption (No Power

No Problem system).

Note for customers in Europe

The clock is preset at the factory, and its memory

is powered by the preinstalled Sony CR2032

battery. If the “0:00” appears in the display when

the unit is connected to AC outlet for the first

time, the battery may be weak. In this case,

consult a Sony dealer. The preinstalled CR2032

battery is considered part of the product, and is

covered by the warranty.

You are required to show “Note for customers in

Europe” (in this instruction) to a Sony dealer in

order to validate the warranty for this product.

When to replace the battery

When the battery becomes weak, “” appears in

the display.

If a power interruption occurs while the battery is

weak, the current time and alarm will be erased.

Replace the battery with a Sony CR2032 lithium

battery. Use of another battery may cause a fire or

explosion.

To replace the battery

1 Keep the AC plug connected to the AC

outlet, remove the screw of the battery

compartment at the bottom of the unit,

and open the lid (see Fig. ).

2 Remove the old battery and insert a new

one in the battery compartment with the

 side facing up (see Fig. ).

3 Replace the battery compartment lid and

tighten the screw.

4 Press , RADIO BAND, AUDIO IN or

SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS on the unit to

turn “” off in the display.

Note

 When you replace the battery, do not

disconnect the plug from the AC outlet.

Otherwise, the current date, current time,

alarm and station presets will be erased.

Reset button





CR2032

To reset the unit

Press the reset button with a pointed object if the

unit fails to function properly. The current time,

alarm and station presets, etc., will revert to their

factory presets (see Fig. ).

To charge your iPod

You can use the unit as a battery charger.

Charging begins when the iPod is connected to

the unit.

The charging status appears in the display on

iPod. For details, see the user’s guide of your iPod.

Setting the clock

To set the clock for the first

time

This unit is preset to the current date and time at

the factory, and is powered by a backup battery.

All you need to do the first time is just plug it in

and select your time zone.

1 Plug in the unit.

The current CET (Central European Time)

appears in the display.

2 Press and hold MODE for at least

2 seconds.

Area number “1” flashes in the display.

3 Press TIME SET + or – repeatedly to

select the number as follows:

4 Press DSPL/ENT to set.

Notes



To cancel the time zone setting, press MODE

instead of DSPL/ENT in step 4.



Though the clock is correctly set at the factory,

discrepancies may arise during transport or

storage. If necessary, set the clock to the correct

time by referring to “To set the clock manually.”

When daylight saving time (summer

time) begins

This model automatically adjusts for daylight

saving time (summer time).

“ ” is displayed from the beginning of daylight

saving time (summer time) and disappears at the

end of the daylight saving time (summer time)

automatically.

Auto DST/summer time adjustment is based on

GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

Area number 0:



Daylight saving time (summer time) begins at:

1:00 AM on the final Sunday of March.



Standard time begins at: 2:00 AM on the final

Sunday of October.

Area number 1:



Daylight saving time (summer time) begins at:

2:00 AM on the final Sunday of March.



Standard time begins at: 3:00 AM on the final

Sunday of October.

Area number 2:



Daylight saving time (summer time) begins at:

3:00 AM on the final Sunday of March.



Standard time begins at: 4:00 AM on the final

Sunday of October.

To cancel Auto DST/summer time adjustment

during the daylight saving time (summer

time) period

The Auto DST/summer time adjustment can be

canceled.

Press and hold CLOCK and SNOOZE/

BRIGHTNESS on the unit at the same time for at

least 2 seconds while the clock is displayed.

“ ” and “OFF” appear in the display to show that

Auto DST/summer time adjustment has been

canceled. The display returns to the clock.

Notes



Changes to Auto DST/summer time adjustment

by the unit (see above) are subject to

circumstances and laws in each country/region.

Should this interfere with desired adjustment,

cancel the Auto DST/summer time adjustment

and set the DST display manually as necessary.

Customers living in a country/region that does

not use daylight saving time (summer time)

must cancel Auto DST/summer time

adjustment before using the unit.



To activate Auto DST/summer time adjustment

again, press and hold CLOCK and SNOOZE/

BRIGHTNESS on the unit at the same time for

at least 2 seconds.

“ ” and “On” appear in the display to show that

Auto DST/summer time adjustment has been

activated. The display returns to the clock.

To set the clock manually

To change the clock setting manually, operate the

unit as follows.

1 Plug in the unit.

2 Press and hold CLOCK until the year

flashes in the display.

3 Press TIME SET + or – repeatedly to set

the year, and then press CLOCK.

4 Repeat step 3 to set the month, day, hour

and minute.

The seconds start incrementing from zero.

Notes



If you do not press any button for about

1 minute while setting the clock, the clock

setting will be canceled.

 A 100-year calendar (2011 - 2110) is installed in

the unit. When the date is set, the day of the

week is automatically displayed.

MON = Monday, TUE = Tuesday,

WED = Wednesday, THU = Thursday,

FRI = Friday, SAT = Saturday, SUN = Sunday

To display the year and date

During clock display, press CLOCK on the unit

once for the date, and press it again for the year.

After a few seconds, the display will change back

to the current time automatically.

Remote commander

Before using the supplied remote for the first

time, remove the insulation film.

Aim the remote at the (Remote sensor) of the

unit.

The VOL + and  buttons have a tactile dot.

OFF



Terminate the current function and stop

playback.



Stop a currently sounding alarm/snooze timer.

 (Play/Pause)



Start playing the iPod. Press again to pause/

resume playback.

 (Forward)



Go to the next track.



Press and hold while listening to the sound to

locate a desired point.

 (Backward)



Go back to the previous track. During

playback, this operation returns to the

beginning of the current track. To go back to

the previous track, press twice.



Press and hold while listening to the sound to

locate a desired point.



Go back to the previous menu.

 (Up)/ (Down)



Select a menu item or track for playback.

ENTER



Execute the selected menu item or begin

playback.

SOUND



Select the desired sound effect(s). (For details,

see “To enjoy the bass or expansion sound

effect.”)

VOL +/− (Volume plus/minus)



Adjust the volume.

RADIO BAND



Activate the radio and select a band.

PRESET +/−



Select the preset number or preset station. (For

details, see “Operating the radio.”)

TUNE +/−



Tune into a station when the radio is on.



Press and hold to scan AM or FM stations.

AUDIO IN



Activate the AUDIO IN function when an

optional component is connected. (For details,

see “Connecting optional components.”)

SLEEP



Set the sleep timer. (For details, see “Setting the

sleep timer.”)

Note



Some operations may differ or may not be

available on certain models of iPod.

When to replace the battery

With normal use, the battery (CR2025) should

last for about 6 months. When the remote no

longer operates the unit, replace the battery with a

new one.

Note



If you are not going to use the remote for a long

time, remove the battery to avoid any damage

that may be caused by leakage and corrosion.

Operating an iPod

Compatible iPod/iPhone

models

The compatible iPod/iPhone models are as

follows.

Update software of your iPod/iPhone to the latest

version before using it with this unit.

This unit is not specified for use with an iPad,

To play

1 Set an iPod on the dock connector.

The dock connector can be tilted slightly.

2 Press .

The iPod begins playback.

You can operate the connected iPod via this

unit or the iPod itself.

3 Adjust the volume using VOLUME + or –

(VOL + or – on the remote).

To place and remove the iPod

When placing or removing the iPod, hold it at the

same angle as the dock connector on the unit. Do

not pull the iPod forward too far.

Notes



If a pop-up message appears on the display of

the iPod touch or iPhone, see “About App.”



An iPod in a case or cover can be set in this

unit. However, if the case or cover interferes

with the connection, remove the case or cover

before setting the iPod on the dock connector.



Do not twist or bend the iPod as this may result

in connector damage.



Remove the iPod when transporting it,

otherwise a malfunction may result.



When placing or removing the iPod, hold the

unit securely.



If the battery of your iPod is extremely low,

charge it for a while before operation.



If your iPod cannot reach the supporter located

in front of the unit, attach the supplied cushion

below the supporter.



If the iPod is already playing when set onto the

unit, the sound from the iPod will be output

from the unit speakers, even if the unit was

playing sound from another function.



Sony cannot accept responsibility in the event

that data recorded to an iPod is lost or damaged

when using an iPod connected to this unit.



Operating the radio

To connect the AM loop

aerial

The shape and length of the aerial is designed to

receive AM signals. Do not dismantle or roll up

the aerial.

1 Remove only the loop part from the

plastic stand.

2 Set up the AM loop aerial.

(Refer to the Startup Guide bundled with this

Reference Guide.)

3 Insert the AM aerial terminal in the AM

ANTENNA jack on the rear of the unit.

To adjust the AM loop aerial

Find a place and an orientation that provide good

reception.

Tip



Adjust the direction of the AM loop aerial for

the best AM broadcast sound.

To remove the AM loop aerial

Push and hold down the tab of the aerial terminal

clamp, and pull out the AM loop aerial.

–Manual tuning

Press RADIO BAND to turn on the radio.

2 Press RADIO BAND repeatedly to select

the desired band.

Each time you press the button, the radio

band toggles between AM and FM as follows:

3 Press TUNE + or – repeatedly to tune to

the desired station.

4 Adjust the volume using VOLUME + or –

(VOL + or – on the remote).

To turn off the radio, press OFF/ALARM

RESET (OFF on the remote).

Note



The FM frequency display is accurate to within

0.1 MHz. For example, frequency 88.00 MHz

and 88.05 MHz will be displayed as “88.0 MHz.”

–Scan tuning

The unit automatically scans for AM or FM

stations.

1 Follow steps 1 to 2 in “Manual tuning”

and select the AM or FM band.

2 Press and hold TUNE + or –.

+ : scans upward through the frequency bands.

–

scans downwards through the frequency

bands.

Scanning starts from the currently-tuned

frequency. When a station is received,

scanning stops.

3 Adjust the volume using VOLUME + or –

(VOL + or – on the remote).

–Preset tuning

You can preset up to 20 FM stations and 10 AM

stations.

To preset a station

1 Follow steps 1 to 4 in “Manual tuning”

and manually tune into the station you

wish to preset.

2 Press and hold MODE on the unit for at

least 2 seconds.

3 Press PRESET + or – to select the preset

number, then press DSPL/ENT on the

unit.

Example: The following displays appear

when you preset FM 89.8 MHz to

preset number 1 for FM.



The display shows the frequency for about

10 seconds, and then returns to the current

time.

Notes



To preset another station, repeat these steps.



To cancel the preset number setting, press

MODE instead of DSPL/ENT in step 3.



If you store another station with the same

preset number, the previously stored station

will be replaced.

To tune in to a preset station

1 Follow steps 1 to 2 in “Manual tuning”

and select the AM or FM band.

2 Press PRESET + or – to select the desired

preset number.

3 Adjust the volume using VOLUME + or –

(VOL + or – on the remote).

–Auto preset tuning

1 Follow steps 1 to 2 in “Manual tuning”

and select the AM or FM band.

2 Press and hold RADIO BAND until “AP”

flashes in the display.

3 Press DSPL/ENT on the unit.

The unit automatically presets the available

channels in order.

Tip



To stop auto preset tuning, press RADIO BAND.

To display the preset number and

frequency of the current station

Press DSPL/ENT on the unit once for the preset

number, and press it again for the frequency.

If you press DSPL/ENT on the unit once only, the

display shows the preset number for about

2 seconds, then changes to the frequency.

After a few moments, the display returns to the

current time.

To improve reception

FM: Extend the FM wire aerial fully to increase

reception sensitivity.

AM: Connect the supplied AM loop aerial to the

unit. Rotate the aerial horizontally for

optimum reception.

Notes on radio reception



Do not place the AM loop aerial near the power

supply unit, the unit or other AV equipment

during use, as noise may result.



Keep digital music players or mobile phones

away from the AM loop aerial or the FM aerial,

as this may lead to reception interference.



When you are listening to the radio with an

iPhone connected to the unit, interference with

radio reception may occur.



When you are listening to the radio while

charging an iPod, interference with radio

reception may occur.

Tip



If the FM broadcast is noisy, press MODE on

the unit until “MONO” appears in the display,

the radio will play in monaural and the sound

will become clearer.

Setting the alarm

This unit is equipped with 3 alarm modes—iPod,

radio and buzzer. The clock needs to be set before

the alarm can be set (see “To set the clock for the

first time”).

To set the alarm

1 Press and hold ALARM SET A or B.

“WAKE UP” appears and the hour flashes in

the display.

2 Press TIME SET + or – repeatedly until

the desired hour appears.

To cycle the hour rapidly, press and hold TIME

SET + or –.

3 Press ALARM SET A or B.

The minute flashes.

4 Repeat step 2 to set the minute.

5 Press ALARM SET A or B.

The days of the week flash.

6 Repeat step 2 to set the days of the week.

You can select the days from the following

three options by pressing TIME SET + or –:

Every day: MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT

SUN

Week day: MON TUE WED THU FRI

Week end: SAT SUN

7 Press ALARM SET A or B.

The alarm mode setting is entered.

8 Press TIME SET + or – repeatedly until

the desired alarm mode flashes.

You can choose one of 4 settings: “iPod,” “FM,”

“AM” or “BUZZER.” Set the alarm mode as

follows:

– iPod: see “ To set the alarm as iPod.”

– FM or AM: see “ To set the radio alarm.”

– BUZZER: see “ To set the buzzer alarm.”

 To set the alarm as iPod

Perform steps 1 to 8 in “To set the alarm.”

2 Press ALARM SET A or B to select

alarm mode for “iPod.”

The volume level flashes in the display.

3 Press TIME SET + or – to adjust the

volume.

4 Press ALARM SET A or B.

The setting is entered.

5 If “A” or “B” does not appear in the

display, press ALARM SET A or B

again.

The iPod will sound at the set time.

When using an iPod touch/iPhone



To wake up to music stored in an iPod touch/

iPhone, connect the iPod touch/iPhone to the

unit first, follow the steps above to set alarm

time, and then select the music function.



Even if the alarm setting for iPod is complete, if

you turn the iPod touch/iPhone power off after

inserting the iPod touch/iPhone into the unit,

the alarm will be the buzzer.

 To set the radio alarm

Perform steps 1 to 8 in “To set the alarm.”

2 Press ALARM SET A or B to select

radio band (“FM” or “AM”).

Preset number flashes in the display.

3 Press TIME SET + or – to select the

desired preset number corresponding the

bands or “– –.”

“– –” is the last station received.

4 Press ALARM SET A or B.

The volume level flashes in the display.

5 Press TIME SET + or – to adjust the

volume.

6 Press ALARM SET A or B.

The setting is entered.

7 If “A” or “B” does not appear in the

display, press ALARM SET A or B

again.

The radio will turn on at the set time.

 To set the buzzer alarm

Perform steps 1 to 8 in “To set the alarm.”

2 Press ALARM SET A or B to select

“BUZZER” alarm mode.

The setting is entered.

3 If “A” or “B” does not appear in the

display, press ALARM SET A or B

again.

The buzzer will sound at the set time.

Note



The volume of the buzzer is not adjustable.

To confirm an alarm time

setting

Press TIME SET + or –. The setting will be

displayed for about 4 seconds.

To change an alarm setting

Press and hold TIME SET + for at least 2 seconds

to move the alarm time forwards. Press and hold

TIME SET – for at least 2 seconds to move the

alarm time back.

When you release the button, the changed time

will flash for about 2 seconds. To change the

alarm time again, press TIME SET + or – within

these 2 seconds, otherwise the setting change will

be fixed as displayed.

To doze for a few more

minutes

Press SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS on the unit.

The sound turns off but will automatically come

on again after about 10 minutes.

You can change the snooze time by pressing

SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS on the unit repeatedly

within 4 seconds.

The maximum length of the snooze time is

60 minutes.

To stop the snooze timer, press OFF/ALARM

RESET (OFF on the remote).

To stop the alarm

Press OFF/ALARM RESET (OFF on the remote)

to turn off the alarm.

The alarm will sound again at the same time the

next day.

To deactivate the alarm

Press ALARM ON/OFF A or B to turn off the

alarm A or B indicator from the display.

To activate the alarm

Press ALARM ON/OFF A or B to turn on the

alarm A or B indicator in the display.

Notes



When alarm is set as iPod, only the buzzer

alarm will sound if there is no iPod on the dock

connector, music is not stored in the iPod, or

the iPod touch/iPhone is turned off.



The alarm function works as usual on the first

and last day of daylight saving time (summer

time). As a result, if the Auto DST/summer

time adjustment is set and the alarm is set at a

time skipped when the daylight saving time

begins, the alarm will sound; if the alarm is set

to a time that overlaps when daylight saving

time ends, the alarm will sound twice.



If the same alarm time is set for both alarm A

and B, alarm A takes priority.



If no operation is performed while the alarm is

occurring, the alarm will stop after about

60 minutes.

Note on the alarm in the event of a power

interruption

In the event of a power interruption, the buzzer

alarm will last about 5 minutes if the battery is not

weak. However, certain functions will be affected

as follows:



The backlight will not light up.



If the alarm mode is set to iPod or radio, it will

change to buzzer automatically.



If OFF/ALARM RESET is not pressed, the alarm

will sound for about 5 minutes.



If “” appears in the display, the alarm will not

sound in the event of a power interruption.

Replace the battery if “” appears.



The snooze function cannot be set during a

power interruption.



During a power interruption, each alarm will

sound at the set time only once.

Setting the sleep timer

You can fall asleep to music, etc., using the sleep

timer. The unit stops playback or radio

automatically after a preset duration.

1 Press SLEEP while the unit is turned on.

“SLEEP” appears and the sleep time flashes in

the display.

2 Press SLEEP to set the sleep timer

duration.

Each time you press SLEEP, the duration (in

minutes) changes as follows:

The display returns to current time for about

4 seconds after you have finished the duration

setting and released SLEEP, and then the sleep

timer starts.

The unit plays for the duration you set, and

then stops.

To turn off the unit before

the preset time

Press OFF/ALARM RESET (OFF on the remote).

To change the sleep timer

setting

You can press SLEEP repeatedly to select the

desired sleep timer setting, even after the sleep

timer has been activated.

To deactivate the sleep timer

Press SLEEP repeatedly to set the sleep timer to

“OFF” in step 2.

Connecting optional

components

To listen to sound

1 Firmly connect the line output jack of a

portable digital music player (or other

component) to the AUDIO IN jack on the

back of the unit, using a suitable audio

connecting cable (not supplied).



The necessary type of audio connecting cable

depends on the optional component. Make sure

Disconnect the audio connecting cable from

the unit when it is not in use.

When you listen to the radio with optional

component connected, turn off the connected

component to prevent noise. If noise occurs,

even when the component is turned off,

disconnect and place the optional component

away from the unit.

To enjoy the bass or

expansion sound effect

Three levels of sound effect are available by

pressing SOUND.

Each time you press the button, the sound effect

changes as follows:

“MEGA BASS”: Provides high quality bass sound.

“MEGA Xpand”: Expands the sound field width.

“MEGA BASS” and “MEGA Xpand”: Enables

both the above effects.

To return to standard sound, press the button

until the display(s) disappear.

To set the brightness of the

display

Four levels of brightness are available by pressing

SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS on the unit.

Even if brightness level is set to OFF, it will

change to Low while the alarm is occurring.

Should any problem persist after you have made

The clock flashes “0:00” due to a power

interruption.

The battery is low. Replace the battery. Remove

Voorzorgsmaatregelen



Trek voor het loskoppelen van het apparaat aan

de stekker, niet aan het snoer.



Er wordt een krachtige magneet gebruikt in de

luidspreker, dus houd creditcards met

magnetische codering en horloges die met de

hand worden opgewonden, TV-toestellen met

een cathodestraalbuis of projectoren, enz., weg

bij het apparaat zodat wordt voorkomen dat

deze voorwerpen worden beschadigd door de

magneet.



Plaats het apparaat niet in de buurt van

warmtebronnen, zoals radiatoren of

luchtkanalen, of op een plaats waar het apparaat

wordt blootgesteld aan direct zonlicht,

overmatige hoeveelheden stof, mechanische

trillingen of schokken.

Laat voldoende ruimte vrij voor luchtcirculatie

om oververhitting van het apparaat te

Verwijdering van oude

Het chemisch symbool voor kwik (Hg) of lood

(Pb) wordt toegevoegd wanneer de batterij meer

dan 0,0005 % kwik of 0,004 % lood bevat.

Door deze batterijen op juiste wijze af te voeren,

helpt u mogelijke negatieve gevolgen voor mens

en milieu die zouden kunnen veroorzaakt worden

in geval van verkeerde afvalbehandeling te

voorkomen. Het recycleren van materialen draagt

bij tot het behoud van natuurlijke bronnen.

In het geval dat de producten om redenen van

veiligheid, prestaties dan wel in verband met data-

integriteit een permanente verbinding met een

ingebouwde batterij vereisen, mag deze batterij

enkel door gekwalificeerd servicepersoneel

vervangen te worden. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de

batterij op een juiste wijze zal worden behandeld,

dient het product aan het eind van zijn

levenscyclus overhandigd te worden aan het

desbetreffende inzamelingspunt voor de recyclage

van elektrisch en elektronisch materiaal.

het hoofdstuk over hoe de batterij veilig uit het

product te verwijderen. Overhandig de batterij

aan het desbetreffende inzamelingspunt voor de

recyclage van batterijen.

opnemen met de gemeentelijke instanties, de

organisatie het belast met de verwijdering van

huishoudelijk afval of de winkel waar u het

het apparaat kunt u terecht bij de dichtstbijzijnde

Sony-handelaar.

De toetsen VOLUME + en  zijn voorzien van een voelstip.

Bedieningshandelingen

Voedingsbron

Dit apparaat bevat een CR2032-batterij als back-

upvoedingsbron om ervoor te zorgen dat de klok

en het alarm blijven werken in geval van een

stroomstoring (No Power No Problem-systeem).

Opmerking voor klanten in Europa

De klok is in de fabriek ingesteld en het geheugen

wordt gevoed door de vooraf geïnstalleerde Sony

CR2032-batterij. Als "0:00" in het display wordt

weergegeven wanneer het apparaat voor het eerst

op het stopcontact wordt aangesloten, is de

batterij wellicht bijna leeg. Neem in dat geval

contact op met uw Sony-handelaar. De vooraf

geïnstalleerde Sony CR2032-batterij wordt gezien

als onderdeel van het product en valt onder de

garantieverklaring.

U moet de "Opmerking voor klanten in Europa"

(in deze gebruiksaanwijzing) laten zien aan een

Sony-handelaar om de garantie voor dit product

te valideren.

Wanneer de batterij

vervangen

Als de batterij bijna leeg is, wordt "" in het

display weergegeven.

Als er een stroomstoring optreedt terwijl de

batterij bijna leeg is, worden de huidige tijd en het

huidige alarm gewist.

Vervang de batterij door een Sony CR2032-

lithiumbatterij. Als u een andere batterij gebruikt,

kan dit brand of een ontploffing tot gevolg

hebben.

De batterij vervangen

1 Houd het netsnoer aangesloten op het

stopcontact, verwijder de schroef van het

batterijvak aan de onderkant van het

apparaat en open het deksel (zie afb. ).

2 Verwijder de oude batterij en plaats een

nieuwe batterij met de pluspool  naar

boven gericht in het batterijvak

(zie afb. ).

3 Plaats het deksel van het batterijvak terug

en draai de schroef aan.

4 Druk op , RADIO BAND, AUDIO IN

of SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS op het

apparaat om "" in het display uit te

schakelen.

Opmerking

 Wanneer u de batterij vervangt, mag u het

netsnoer niet loskoppelen van het stopcontact.

Anders worden de huidige datum, de huidige

tijd, het alarm en de voorkeurszenders gewist.





Reset-toets

Het apparaat resetten

Druk met een puntig voorwerp op deze knop als

het apparaat niet goed werkt. De

fabrieksinstellingen worden hersteld voor de tijd,

het alarm, de voorkeurszenders enz. (zie afb. ).

Uw iPod opladen

U kunt het apparaat gebruiken als batterijlader.

Het opladen begint wanneer de iPod wordt

aangesloten op het apparaat.

De aanduiding voor de oplaadstatus wordt in het

display van de iPod weergegeven. Raadpleeg de

gebruikershandleiding van de iPod voor meer

informatie.

De klok instellen

De klok voor het eerst

instellen

Dit apparaat is in de fabriek ingesteld op de

huidige datum en tijd en wordt gevoed door een

reservebatterij. U hoeft het apparaat de eerste keer

alleen maar aan te sluiten op het stopcontact en

uw tijdzone te selecteren.

1 Sluit het apparaat aan op het stopcontact.

De huidige CET-tijd (Centraal-Europese tijd)

wordt weergegeven in het display.

2 Houd MODE minstens

2 seconden ingedrukt.

Hoewel de klok correct is ingesteld in de

fabriek, kunnen er verschillen in de tijd

optreden gedurende vervoer of opslag. Stel zo

nodig de klok in op de juiste tijd en raadpleeg

hierbij "De klok handmatig instellen".

Wanneer de zomertijd begint

Dit model wordt automatisch aangepast aan de

zomertijd.

" " wordt vanaf het begin van de zomertijd

weergegeven en verdwijnt automatisch wanneer

de zomertijd is afgelopen.

De automatische aanpassing naar de zomertijd is

gebaseerd op GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

De aanpassing naar de zomertijd

De automatische aanpassing naar de zomertijd

kan worden geannuleerd.

Houd CLOCK en SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS op het

apparaat gedurende minstens 2 seconden tegelijk

ingedrukt terwijl de klok wordt weergegeven.

" " en "OFF" worden in het display weergegeven

om aan te geven dat de automatische aanpassing

naar de zomertijd is geannuleerd. Het display

keert terug naar de klok.

Opmerkingen



Het moment waarop de tijd op het apparaat

automatisch wordt gewijzigd naar de zomertijd

(zie boven), wordt bepaald door

omstandigheden en de wetgeving in elk land/

elke regio. Mocht dit afwijken van de gewenste

aanpassing, annuleert u de automatische

aanpassing naar de zomertijd en stelt u de

zomertijd handmatig in. Klanten die in landen/

regio's wonen waar de zomertijd niet wordt

gebruikt, moeten de automatische aanpassing

naar de zomertijd annuleren voordat het

apparaat wordt gebruikt.



Als u de automatische aanpassing naar de

zomertijd weer wilt activeren, houdt u CLOCK

en SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS op het apparaat

gedurende minstens 2 seconden tegelijk

ingedrukt.

" " en "On" worden in het display weergegeven

om aan te geven dat de automatische aanpassing

naar de zomertijd is geactiveerd. Het display

keert terug naar de klok.

De klok handmatig instellen

Om de klok handmatig in te stellen, gaat u als

volgt te werk.

1 Sluit het apparaat aan op het stopcontact.

2 Houd CLOCK ingedrukt tot het jaar

knippert in het display.

3 Druk herhaaldelijk op TIME SET + of –

om het jaar in te stellen en druk

vervolgens op CLOCK.

4 Herhaal stap 3 om de maand, de dag, het

uur en de minuten in te stellen.

De seconden gaan lopen vanaf nul.

Opmerkingen



Als u tijdens het instellen van de klok ongeveer

1 minuut niet op een toets drukt, wordt het

instellen geannuleerd.

 Er is een honderdjarige kalender (2011 - 2110)

geïnstalleerd op dit apparaat. Wanneer de

datum is ingesteld, wordt de dag van de week

automatisch weergegeven.

MON = maandag, TUE = dinsdag,

WED = woensdag, THU = donderdag,

FRI = vrijdag, SAT = zaterdag, SUN = zondag

Het jaar en de datum weergeven

Druk tijdens de klokweergave één keer op CLOCK

op het apparaat voor de datum en een tweede keer

voor het jaar.

Na enkele seconden keert het display automatisch

terug naar de huidige tijd.

Afstandsbediening

Voordat u de bijgeleverde afstandsbediening

gebruikt, moet u het plastic beschermlaagje

verwijderen.

Richt de afstandsbediening op

(Afstandsbedieningssensor) op het apparaat.

De toetsen VOL + en  zijn voorzien van

een voelstip.

OFF



De huidige functie beëindigen en het afspelen

stoppen.



Een alarm/sluimerfunctie die geactiveerd is,

stoppen.

Wanneer de batterij

vervangen

Bij normaal gebruik gaat de batterij (CR2025)

ongeveer 6 maanden mee. Als u het apparaat niet

meer kunt bedienen met de afstandsbediening,

vervangt u de batterij door een nieuwe.

Afspelen

1 Plaats uw iPod op de dockaansluiting.

De dockaansluiting kan iets gekanteld worden.

2 Druk op .

Het afspelen op de iPod start.

U kunt de aangesloten iPod bedienen met dit

apparaat of via de iPod zelf.

3 Pas het volume aan met VOLUME + of –

(VOL + of – op de afstandsbediening).

De iPod plaatsen en verwijderen

Wanneer u de iPod plaatst of verwijdert, houdt u

deze in dezelfde hoek vast als de dockaansluiting

op het apparaat. Trek de iPod niet te ver naar

voor.

Opmerkingen



Als er een pop-upbericht weergegeven wordt op

het scherm van de iPod touch of iPhone,

raadpleegt u “Over de App”.



Het is mogelijk om een iPod met beschermhoes

in het apparaat te plaatsen. Als de

beschermhoes een correcte verbinding echter

verhindert, verwijdert u de beschermhoes voor

u de iPod op de dockaansluiting plaatst.



U mag de iPod niet draaien of buigen om

schade aan de aansluiting te voorkomen.



Verwijder de iPod bij transport van het

apparaat; doet u dit niet, dan kan dit defecten

veroorzaken.



Houd het apparaat stevig vast wanneer u de

iPod plaatst of verwijdert.



Als de batterij van uw iPod bijna leeg is, dient u

deze eerst enige tijd op te laden voordat u de

iPod inschakelt.



Als uw iPod niet tegen de steun aan de

voorzijde van het apparaat kan leunen,

bevestigt u het bijgeleverde kussen onder de

steun.



Als er reeds muziek afgespeeld wordt op de

iPod als u deze op het apparaat plaatst, wordt

het geluid van de iPod uitgevoerd uit de

luidsprekers van het apparaat, zelfs als er op het

apparaat geluid van een andere geluidsbron

werd uitgevoerd.



Sony is niet verantwoordelijk voor verlies of

beschadiging van gegevens die op de iPod zijn

vastgelegd wanneer u een iPod op dit apparaat

aansluit.



De radio gebruiken

De AM-kaderantenne

aansluiten

De vorm en lengte van de antenne zijn ontworpen

voor het ontvangen van AM-signalen. Haal de

antenne niet uit elkaar en rol deze niet op.

1 Verwijder alleen het kadergedeelte van

de plastic standaard.

2 Monteer de AM-kaderantenne.

(Raadpleeg de Snelstartgids die bij deze

Naslaggids geleverd is.)

3 Plaats de AM-antenneaansluiting in de

AM ANTENNA-aansluiting aan de

achterkant van het apparaat.

De AM-kaderantenne bijregelen

Zoek een locatie en stand waarbij de antenne een

goede ontvangst heeft.

Tip



Pas de stand van de AM-kaderantenne aan voor

de beste ontvangst van AM-uitzendingen.

De AM-kaderantenne verwijderen

Houd de klem van de antenneaansluiting

ingedrukt en trek de AM-kaderantenne eruit.

–Handmatig afstemmen

Druk op RADIO BAND om de radio in te

schakelen.

2 Druk herhaaldelijk op RADIO BAND om

de gewenste band te selecteren.

Telkens wanneer u op deze toets drukt,

schakelt de radioband als volgt tussen AM en

FM:

3 Druk herhaaldelijk op TUNE + of – om

af te stemmen op de gewenste zender.

4 Pas het volume aan met VOLUME + of –

(VOL + of – op de afstandsbediening).

Om de radio uit te schakelen, drukt u op OFF/

ALARM RESET (OFF op de

afstandsbediening).

Opmerking



De weergave van de FM-frequentie is

nauwkeurig tot op 0,1 MHz. De frequenties

88,00 MHz en 88,05 MHz worden bijvoorbeeld

weergegeven als "88.0 MHz".

–Afstemmen door te scannen

Het apparaat zoekt automatisch naar AM- of FM-

zenders.

1 Volg stappen 1 tot 2 in "Handmatig

afstemmen" en selecteer de AM- of FM-

band.

2 Houd TUNE + of – ingedrukt.

+ : zoekt omhoog in de frequentiebanden.

–

zoekt omlaag in de frequentiebanden.

Het zoeken wordt gestart vanaf de frequentie

waarop momenteel is afgestemd. Het zoeken

stopt zodra een zender wordt ontvangen.

3 Pas het volume aan met VOLUME + of –

(VOL + of – op de afstandsbediening).

–Vooraf afstemmen

U kunt maximaal 20 FM- en 10 AM-

voorkeurszenders instellen.

Een zender vooraf instellen

1 Volg stap 1 tot 4 in "Handmatig

afstemmen" en stem handmatig af op de

zender die u wilt instellen als

voorkeurszender.

2 Houd MODE op het apparaat minstens

2 seconden ingedrukt.

3 Druk op PRESET + of – om het

voorinstelnummer te selecteren en druk

vervolgens op DSPL/ENT op het

apparaat.

Voorbeeld: de volgende informatie wordt

weergegeven op het display

wanneer u FM 89,8 MHz opslaat

onder voorinstelnummer 1 voor

FM.



De frequentie wordt ongeveer

10 seconden op het display weergegeven,

waarna het display terugkeert naar de huidige

tijd.

Opmerkingen



Herhaal deze procedure als u nog een zender

wilt instellen.



Druk in stap 3 op MODE in plaats van op

DSPL/ENT om het instellen van het

voorinstelnummer te annuleren.



Als u een andere zender opslaat onder hetzelfde

voorinstelnummer, wordt de eerder opgeslagen

zender overschreven.

Afstemmen op een voorkeurszender

1 Volg stappen 1 tot 2 in "Handmatig

afstemmen" en selecteer de AM- of FM-

band.

2 Druk op PRESET + of – om het gewenste

voorinstelnummer te selecteren.

3 Pas het volume aan met VOLUME + of –

(VOL + of – op de afstandsbediening).

–Automatisch vooraf

afstemmen

1 Volg stappen 1 tot 2 in "Handmatig

afstemmen" en selecteer de AM- of FM-

band.

2 Houd RADIO BAND ingedrukt tot "AP"

in het display knippert.

3 Druk op DSPL/ENT op het apparaat.

De beschikbare zenders worden automatisch

op volgorde ingesteld op het apparaat.

Tip



Druk op RADIO BAND om het automatisch

vooraf afstemmen te stoppen.

Het voorinstelnummer en de frequentie

van de huidige zender weergeven

Druk één keer op DSPL/ENT op het apparaat

voor het voorinstelnummer en druk nogmaals op

deze toets voor de frequentie.

Als u slechts één keer op DSPL/ENT drukt op het

apparaat, toont het display het voorinstelnummer

gedurende ongeveer 2 seconden en toont het

daarna de frequentie.

Na enige tijd keert het display automatisch terug

naar de huidige tijd.

De ontvangst verbeteren

FM: rol de FM-draadantenne volledig uit om de

ontvangstgevoeligheid te verhogen.

AM:

sluit de bijgeleverde AM-kaderantenne aan

op het apparaat. Draai de antenne

horizontaal voor een optimale ontvangst.

Opmerkingen over radio-ontvangst



Plaats tijdens het gebruik de AM-kaderantenne

niet in de buurt van de stroomvoorziening, het

apparaat of andere AV-apparatuur omdat er

ruis kan ontstaan.



Houd digitale muziekspelers en mobiele

telefoons uit de buurt van de AM-kaderantenne

en de FM-draadantenne omdat deze de

ontvangst kunnen storen.



Als u naar de radio luistert terwijl er een iPhone

is aangesloten op het apparaat, kan de radio-

ontvangst worden gestoord.



Als u naar de radio luistert terwijl u een iPod

oplaadt, kan de radio-ontvangst worden

gestoord.

Tip



Als de FM-uitzending gestoord wordt, drukt u

op MODE op het apparaat tot "MONO" in het

display verschijnt; de radio produceert

monogeluid dat helderder klinkt.

Het alarm instellen

Dit apparaat is uitgerust met 3 alarmmodi—iPod,

radio en zoemer. Om het alarm te kunnen

instellen, moet u eerst de klok instellen (zie "De

klok voor het eerst instellen").

Het alarm instellen

1 Houd ALARM SET A of B ingedrukt.

"WAKE UP" wordt weergegeven en het uur

knippert in het display.

2 Druk herhaaldelijk op TIME SET + of –

tot het gewenste uur wordt weergegeven.

Als u snel door de uren wilt bladeren, houdt u

TIME SET + of – ingedrukt.

3 Druk op ALARM SET A of B.

De minuten knipperen.

4 Herhaal stap 2 om de minuten in te

stellen.

5 Druk op ALARM SET A of B.

De dagen van de week knipperen.

6 Herhaal stap 2 om de dagen van de week

in te stellen.

U kunt de volgende drie opties voor de dagen

kiezen door te drukken op TIME SET + of –:

Elke dag: MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT

SUN

Weekdag: MON TUE WED THU FRI

7 Druk op ALARM SET A of B.

De modus voor het instellen van het alarm

wordt geopend.

8 Druk herhaaldelijk op TIME SET + of –

tot de gewenste alarmmodus knippert.

U kunt kiezen uit 4 instellingen: "iPod", "FM",

"AM" of "BUZZER". Stel de alarmmodus als

volgt in:

– iPod: zie " De iPod gebruiken als alarm".

– FM of AM: zie " Het radioalarm

instellen".

– BUZZER: zie " Het zoemeralarm

instellen".

 De iPod gebruiken als alarm

Voer stap 1 tot en met 8 uit van "Het

alarm instellen".

2 Druk op ALARM SET A of B om de

alarmmodus "iPod" te selecteren.

Het volumeniveau knippert in het display.

3 Druk op TIME SET + of – om het volume

aan te passen.

4 Druk op ALARM SET A of B.

De instelling wordt ingevoerd.

5 Als "A" of "B" niet in het display wordt

weergegeven, drukt u nogmaals op

ALARM TIME SET A of B.

De iPod wordt op de ingestelde tijd

geactiveerd.

Een iPod touch/iPhone gebruiken



Als u wakker wilt worden met muziek die op

een iPod touch/iPhone is opgeslagen, moet u

eerst de iPod touch/iPhone aansluiten op het

apparaat. Voer de bovenstaande stappen uit om

de alarmtijd in te stellen en selecteer de

muziekfunctie.



Zelfs als het instellen van het iPod-alarm

voltooid is, zal het zoemeralarm gebruikt

worden als u de iPod touch/iPhone uitschakelt

nadat de iPod touch/iPhone in het apparaat is

geplaatst.

 Het radioalarm instellen

Voer stap 1 tot en met 8 uit van "Het

alarm instellen".

2 Druk op ALARM SET A of B om de

radioband te kiezen ("FM" of "AM").

Het voorinstelnummer knippert in het display.

3 Druk op TIME SET + of – om het

gewenste voorinstelnummer te selecteren

dat overeenstemt met de banden of "– –".

"– –" is de zender die het laatst is ontvangen.

4 Druk op ALARM SET A of B.

Het volumeniveau knippert in het display.

5 Druk op TIME SET + of – om het volume

aan te passen.

6 Druk op ALARM SET A of B.

De instelling wordt ingevoerd.

7 Als "A" of "B" niet in het display wordt

weergegeven, drukt u nogmaals op

ALARM SET A of B.

De radio wordt op de ingestelde tijd

ingeschakeld.

 Het zoemeralarm instellen

Voer stap 1 tot 8 van "Het alarm

instellen" uit.

2 Druk op ALARM SET A of B om de

alarmmodus "BUZZER" te selecteren.

De instelling wordt ingevoerd.

3 Als "A" of "B" niet in het display wordt

weergegeven, drukt u nogmaals op

ALARM SET A of B.

De zoemer wordt op de ingestelde tijd

geactiveerd.

Opmerking



Het volume van het zoemeralarm kan niet

geregeld worden.

Een ingestelde alarmtijd

controleren

Druk op TIME SET + of –. De instelling wordt

ongeveer 4 seconden weergegeven.

Een alarminstelling wijzigen

Houd TIME SET + ten minste 2 seconden

ingedrukt om de alarmtijd vooruit te zetten.

Houd TIME SET – ten minste 2 seconden

ingedrukt om de alarmtijd terug te zetten.

Wanneer u de toets loslaat, zal de gewijzigde tijd

ongeveer 2 seconden knipperen. Als u de

alarmtijd nogmaals wilt wijzigen, drukt u binnen

deze 2 seconden nogmaals op TIME SET + of –.

Als u dit niet doet, wordt de weergegeven tijd

ingesteld.

Nog enkele minuten

doezelen

Druk op SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS op het apparaat.

Het geluid wordt uitgeschakeld, maar wordt na

ongeveer 10 minuten automatisch weer

ingeschakeld.

U kunt de sluimertijd wijzigen door binnen

4 seconden herhaaldelijk op SNOOZE/

BRIGHTNESS op het apparaat te drukken.

De sluimertijd kan maximaal 60 minuten duren.

Om de sluimerfunctie te stoppen, drukt u op

OFF/ALARM RESET (OFF op de

afstandsbediening).

Het alarm stoppen

Druk op OFF/ALARM RESET (OFF op de

afstandsbediening) om het alarm uit te zetten.

Het alarm wordt de volgende dag weer op

dezelfde tijd geactiveerd.

Het alarm uitschakelen

Druk op ALARM ON/OFF A of B om de A- of

B-aanduiding van het alarm in het display uit te

schakelen.

Het alarm inschakelen

Druk op ALARM ON/OFF A of B om de A- of

B-aanduiding van het alarm in het display in te

schakelen.

Opmerkingen



Wanneer u de iPod als alarm gebruikt, zal het

zoemeralarm weerklinken als er geen iPod op

de dockaansluiting geplaatst is, er geen muziek

opgeslagen is op de iPod of de iPod touch/

iPhone uitgeschakeld is.



De alarmfunctie werkt zoals normaal op de

eerste en laatste dag van de zomertijd. Het

alarm zal weerklinken als de automatische

aanpassing naar de zomertijd ingesteld is en het

alarm ingesteld is op een tijdstip dat wordt

overgeslagen als de zomertijd begint; als het

alarm op een tijdstip ingesteld is dat overlapt als

de zomertijd eindigt, dan weerklinkt het alarm

tweemaal.



Als dezelfde alarmtijd is ingesteld voor zowel

alarm A als B, krijgt alarm A prioriteit.



Als u geen bedieningshandeling uitvoert terwijl

het alarm afgaat, stopt het alarm na ongeveer 60

minuten.

Opmerking over het alarm tijdens een

stroomstoring

Tijdens een stroomstoring werkt het zoemeralarm

gedurende ongeveer 5 minuten als de batterij niet

bijna leeg is. Bepaalde functies worden echter als

volgt beïnvloed:



De achtergrondverlichting gaat niet branden.



Als de alarmmodus is ingesteld op de iPod of

radio, wordt dit automatisch gewijzigd naar de

zoemer.



Als er niet op OFF/ALARM RESET wordt

gedrukt, weerklinkt het alarm gedurende

ongeveer 5 minuten.



Als "" in het display wordt weergegeven, gaat

het alarm niet af als er een stroomstoring

optreedt. Vervang de batterij als "" wordt

weergegeven.



De sluimerfunctie kan niet worden ingesteld

tijdens een stroomstoring.



Tijdens een stroomstoring gaat elk alarm

slechts één keer af op de ingestelde tijd.

De slaaptimer instellen

Met de slaaptimer kunt u in slaap vallen terwijl u

naar muziek enzovoort luistert. Het afspelen of de

radio van het apparaat wordt na een ingestelde

tijdsduur automatisch stopgezet.

1 Druk op SLEEP terwijl het apparaat is

ingeschakeld.

"SLEEP" wordt weergegeven en de slaaptijd

knippert in het display.

2 Druk op SLEEP om de duur van de

slaaptimer in te stellen.

Wanneer u op SLEEP drukt, wordt de duur (in

minuten) als volgt gewijzigd:

Ongeveer 4 seconden nadat u de duur hebt

ingesteld en SLEEP hebt losgelaten, keert het

display terug naar de huidige tijd en wordt de

slaaptimer gestart.

Het apparaat speelt gedurende de tijd die u

hebt ingesteld en stopt dan.

Het apparaat uitschakelen

vóór de ingestelde tijd

Druk op OFF/ALARM RESET (OFF op de

afstandsbediening).

De instelling voor de

slaaptimer wijzigen

U kunt herhaaldelijk op SLEEP drukken om de

gewenste instelling voor de slaaptimer te

selecteren, zelfs nadat de slaaptimer is geactiveerd.

De slaaptimer uitschakelen

Druk herhaaldelijk op SLEEP om de slaaptimer in

te stellen op "OFF" in stap 2.

Druk op OFF/ALARM RESET (OFF op de

afstandsbediening) en stop het afspelen op de

aangesloten component.

Opmerkingen



Het type van de benodigde audiokabel hangt af

van de optionele component. Zorg ervoor dat u

het juiste type kabel gebruikt.



Als het volumeniveau laag is, past u eerst het

volume van het apparaat aan. Als het

volumeniveau nog steeds te laag is, past u het

volume van de aangesloten component aan.



Koppel de audioverbindingskabel los wanneer u

het apparaat niet gebruikt.



Wanneer u naar de radio luistert terwijl er een

optionele component aangesloten is, moet u de

optionele component uitschakelen om storing

te voorkomen. Als er storing optreedt, zelfs

wanneer de component uitgeschakeld is,

koppelt u de optionele component los en plaatst

u deze verder uit de buurt van het apparaat.

Andere handige

functies

Het geluidseffect voor lage

tonen of uitbreiding

bekomen

Er zijn drie geluidseffectniveaus beschikbaar

wanneer u op SOUND drukt.

Telkens wanneer u op deze toets drukt, wijzigt het

geluidseffect als volgt:

"MEGA BASS": zorgt voor kwaliteitsvolle lage

tonen.

"MEGA Xpand": breidt de breedte van het

geluidsveld uit.

"MEGA BASS" en "MEGA Xpand": voor het

inschakelen van beide bovenstaande effecten.

Om terug te keren naar het normale geluid, drukt

u op deze toets tot de weergave verdwijnt.

De helderheid van het

display instellen

Er zijn vier helderheidsniveaus beschikbaar

wanneer u op SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS drukt op

het apparaat.

Zelfs als het helderheidsniveau ingesteld is op Uit,

schakelt het niveau over naar Laag terwijl het

alarm weerklinkt.

Over de App

Er is een specifieke Dock App voor iPod touch en

iPhone verkrijgbaar in de App Store van Apple.

Zoek naar "D-Sappli" en download deze gratis

App voor meer informatie over de functies ervan.

Opmerkingen



Als u de App om verbinding te maken met dit

apparaat niet hebt gedownload op uw iPod

touch/iPhone, is het mogelijk dat er

herhaaldelijk een pop-upbericht weergegeven

wordt om D-Sappli te downloaden.

Schakel de koppelingsfunctie van de App uit

om het pop-upbericht niet langer weer te geven.



Om de koppelingsfunctie van de App uit te

schakelen, verwijdert u de iPod touch/iPhone

uit de dockaansluiting. Druk op  (om de

iPod-functie te activeren) en houd vervolgens

VOLUME – en  op het apparaat gedurende

minstens 2 seconden tegelijk ingedrukt. ("OFF"

wordt weergegeven op het display om aan te

tonen dat de koppelingsfunctie van de App

uitgeschakeld is.)



Om de koppelingsfunctie van de App opnieuw

te activeren, herhaalt u de bovenstaande

stappen. ("On" wordt weergegeven op het

display om aan te tonen dat de

koppelingsfunctie van de App ingeschakeld is.)

Aanvullende informatie

Problemen oplossen

Als het probleem blijft optreden nadat u de

volgende controles hebt uitgevoerd, neemt u

contact op met de dichtstbijzijnde Sony-

handelaar.

"0:00" knippert in het display vanwege een

stroomonderbreking.



De batterij is bijna leeg. Vervang de batterij.

Verwijder de oude batterij en installeer een

nieuwe.

Het radio-, iPod- of zoemeralarm gaat niet af

op de ingestelde alarmtijd.



Controleer of alarm "A" of alarm "B" correct

wordt weergegeven.

Het radio- of iPod-alarm is geactiveerd, maar

u hoort geen geluid op de ingestelde

alarmtijd.



Controleer het ingestelde volume van het

alarm.

Er komt geen geluid uit de iPod.



Zorg ervoor dat de iPod stevig is aangesloten.



Pas het volume aan met VOLUME +/–

(VOL +/– op de afstandsbediening).

De iPod kan niet worden bediend met dit

apparaat.



Zorg ervoor dat de iPod stevig is aangesloten.

Controleer of de iPod compatibel is met dit
