GETTING STARTED WITH SOLIDDRIVE SETUP

Included with the SolidDrive SD1 Desktop Kit-250 for

installation on any horizontal surface:

Two (2) SolidDrive SD-1 Desktop transducers, SD-250 mini

amplier with built-in EQ curves, 15V DC power supply, all

necessary cabling, instructions and durable, padded case.

The SolidDrive SD Desktop Transducers are connected to the

SD-250 amp from the supplied “push-on” connector to the

left and right speaker outputs on SD-250. The special silicone

rubber pad “grips” any non-porous surface.

The portable SolidDrive SD1 Desktop Kit-250 is to be used

with a laptop computer, portable CD player, or other sound

source. The SolidDrive SD1 Desktop utilizes patented

technology to convey an audio signal into a table or counter

top, evenly delivering sound from the entire surface.

1. Connect the power supply to the SD-250 amplier.

2. Plug the power lead from the 15V DC power supply into the DC

IN of the amplier. Connect the SolidDrive with “push-on” connector

to the speaker output of the SD-250. For use with two transducers,

jumper setting should be set to “STEREO”.

3. Connect audio source (MP3 player, computer, etc.) to stereo mini

input. Make sure INPUT SELECTOR is set to STEREO MINI.

4. If outside the USA, use appropriate outlet adapter and plug into

wall outlet.

5. Adjust volume on computer or other audio source to desired level.

The audio output signal level will vary from computer to computer,

You can use the volume control on the SD-250.

6. Adjust the proper electronic EQ on the SD-250 [WOOD, DRYWALL

(gypsum), GLASS, or FLAT] for the surface type the SolidDrive will be

used on.
