• Do not leave vacuum cleaner when it is plugged in.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
servicing.

• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when used by or near children.
• Do not use for any purpose other than described in
this user guide. Use only manufacturer’s
recommended attachments.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance
is not working as it should, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water,
have it repaired at an authorized service center.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle,
close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp
edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord.
Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp
the plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet
hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use
with any opening blocked; keep openings free of
dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air
flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of
body away from openings and moving parts.
• Turn OFF all controls before plugging or
unplugging vacuum cleaner.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible
materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) or
use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not use vacuum cleaner in an enclosed space
filled with vapors given off by oil-based paint, paint
thinner, some moth-proofing substances,
flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.
• Do not use to pick up toxic material (chlorine
bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking,
such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
• Do not use without filters in place.
• Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass,
nails, screws, coins, etc.
• Use only on dry, indoor surfaces.
• Keep appliance on a level surface.
• Do not carry the vacuum cleaner while it is running.

This appliance must be connected to a grounded wiring system. If it should malfunction
or break down, grounding provides a safe path of least resistance for electrical current,
reducing the risk of electrical shock. The cord for this appliance has an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. It must only be plugged into an outlet that is
properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
NOTE: In Canada, the use of a temporary adapter is not permitted
by the Canadian Electrical Code.

Cuando se utiliza un electrodoméstico, es necesario tomar precauciones básicas, que incluyen las siguientes:

Este artefacto se debe conectar a un sistema de cableado con conexión a tierra. Si falla o
se descompone, la conexión a tierra proporciona una vía segura de menor resistencia
para la corriente eléctrica, reduciendo el riesgo de choque eléctrico. El cordón de este
electrodoméstico tiene un conductor de conexión a tierra del equipo y un enchufe con
conexión a tierra. Se debe enchufar solamente en un tomacorriente correctamente
instalado y con conexión a tierra de acuerdo con todos los códigos y ordenanzas.
NOTA: En Canadá, el Código Canadiense de Electricidad no permite
el uso de adaptadores temporarios.
PRECAUCIÓN

• Enchufe el cable solo en tomacorrientes conectados
debidamente a tierra. Consulte las instrucciones sobre la

• No deje sola a la aspiradora cuando se encuentre
enchufada. Desconéctela del tomacorriente cuando no esté
en uso y antes de darle servicio de mantenimiento.
• No la use a la intemperie ni en superficies mojadas.
• No permita que se utilice como si fuera un juguete. Cuando
sea usada por
niños, o cerca de niños, es necesario prestar mucha
atención.
• No utilice la unidad para ningún otro propósito que no sea el
descrito en esta guía del usuario. Use únicamente los
accesorios recomendados por el fabricante.
• No la use si el cable está dañado o enchufado. Si el aparato
no funciona como debería, se p3-ha caído, se p3-ha dañado, se ha
dejado al aire libre o se p3-ha caído al agua, haga que lo
reparen en un centro de servicio autorizado.
• No tire del cable ni jale la unidad con él, no lo use como
manija, tampoco cierre las puertas sobre el cable ni lo jale
alrededor de bordes afilados o esquinas. No opere la
aspiradora sobre el cable. Mantenga el cable lejos de
superficies calientes.
• No desconecte tirando del cable. Para desconectar, agarre
del enchufe, no del cable.
• No maneje el enchufe ni la aspiradora con las manos
mojadas.
• No ponga ningún objeto dentro de las aberturas. No use la
unidad con alguna de las aberturas obstruida; mantenga las
aberturas libres de polvo, pelusas, cabello y cualquier cosa
que pueda reducir el flujo de aire.
• Mantenga el cabello, ropa suelta, dedos y todas las partes
del cuerpo lejos de las aberturas y piezas móviles.
• APAGUE todos los controles antes de enchufar o
desenchufar la aspiradora.
• Tenga mayor cuidado cuando haga limpieza en escaleras.
• No use la aspiradora para recoger líquidos inflamables o
combustibles (líquidos para encendedores, gasolina,
keroseno, etc.) ni la use en áreas donde éstos puedan estar
presentes.
• No utilice la aspiradora en un espacio encerrado lleno de
vapores emitidos por pintura a base de aceite, solvente de
pintura, algunas sustancias a prueba de polillas, polvo
inflamable u otros vapores tóxicos o explosivos.
• No la use para recoger material tóxico (blanqueador con
cloro, amoniaco, limpiador de desagües, etc.).
• No recoja nada que esté ardiendo o humeando, como
cigarrillos, fósforos o cenizas calientes.
• No la use sin que los filtros se encuentren en su lugar.
• No recoja objetos duros o afilados como vidrios, clavos,
tornillos, monedas, etc.
• Úsela únicamente en superficies secas, bajo techo.
• Mantenga el aparato sobre una superficie nivelada.
• No transporte la aspiradora mientras esté funcionando.
