MODELOS
Este manual describe la instalaci贸n, funcio-
namiento y mantenimiento de las
Cortadoras de Fiambre GC-220, GC-250,
GC-275, GC-300, GCP-250, GCP-275, GCP-
300 y GCP-350.
La referencia del modelo y sus caracter铆sti-
cas se indican en la placa de caracter铆sticas
colocada en cada m谩quina.
Estas cortadoras est谩n dise帽adas y fabrica-
das de acuerdo con la Directiva Europea
89/392/CEE.
INSTALACI脫N
Para obtener las mejores prestaciones y
una buena conservaci贸n de la m谩quina,
siga cuidadosamente las instrucciones con-
tenidas en este manual.
Emplazamiento
Colocar la Cortadora sobre una superficie
plana y estable. Las peque帽as desviaciones
se podr谩n compensar ajustando las patas
regulables.
INSTALACI脫N EL脡CTRICA
Las Cortadoras son monof谩sicas y se sumi-
nistran para una tensi贸n de 220V.
Antes de conectar la Cortadora a la red,
comprobar que la tensi贸n del motor y la
red principal coinciden.
Es obligatorio la conexi贸n con TIERRA.
PUESTA EN MARCHA
1.Verificar que el Mando regulador de corte
(A) est茅 en la posici贸n "0".
2.Colocar el producto sobre el Carro (B) y
fijarlo con el Brazo pisador (C).
3.Seleccionar el grosor de corte deseado
mediante el Mando regulador de corte
(A).
4.Poner la m谩quina en funcionamiento
mediante el Interruptor de
Marcha/Parada (D) y asegurarse de que la
Cuchilla (E) gira en sentido contrario a las
agujas del reloj. No sujetar nunca el pro-
ducto con la mano durante el corte: utili-
zar siempre el Brazo pisador (C). Mover el
Carro (B) mediante la Manilla del pisador
(F).
5.Al finalizar el trabajo, parar la Cortadora
accionando el Interruptor de
Marcha/Parada (D) y poner el Mando
regulador de corte (A) en la posici贸n "0".
MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de cualquier intervenci贸n para la lim-
pieza, revisi贸n o reparaci贸n, es obligatorio
desconectar la m谩quina de la red.
Afilado de la cuchilla
Esta operaci贸n es muy importante para
conseguir un corte perfecto y asegurar una
larga duraci贸n de la cuchilla.
Solamente se puede afilar la cuchilla cuan-
do est谩 limpia. Si se afila una cuchilla sucia,
adem谩s de no conseguir un buen afilado,
tanto la cuchilla como la muela de afilar
pueden resultar da帽adas.
Despu茅s del afilado, quitar con un cepillo
las part铆culas de suciedad que puedan que-
dar en la muela de afilar. Adem谩s, habr谩
que pasar un trapo impregnado de alcohol
tanto a la cuchilla como a la muela, a fin de
eliminar el polvillo que se desprende
durante el afilado.
Para un afilado correcto, proceder de la
siguiente manera:
1.Desengrasar las dos caras de la Cuchilla
(E) con un trapo h煤medo impregnado de
alcohol.
2.Aflojar el mando del Soporte del afilador
(G) y levantar el Conjunto afilador (H),
haci茅ndolo girar 180潞 en sentido de las
agujas del reloj. Luego, fijar el Conjunto
afilador (H) en esta posici贸n apretando el
mando (G).
3.Encender la m谩quina y pulsar el Bot贸n de
la piedra de afilar (I) para que la Piedra de
afilar (J) se ponga en funcionamiento.
4.Apretar el Bot贸n de la piedra de afinar (K)
para que la Piedra de afinar (L) elimine la
rebarba que se ha formado en la parte
anterior de la cuchilla durante el afilado.
IMPORTANTE: El afilado debe durar 20
segundos aproximadamente. El afinado,
no m谩s de 2 贸 3 segundos.
5.Apagar la m谩quina y dejar el afilador en
su posici贸n original.
Limpieza
Por motivos de higiene, hay que mantener
la Cortadora limpia. Es necesario desmon-
tar y limpiar la m谩quina al t茅rmino de cada
d铆a o siempre que se cambie el tipo de pro-
ducto que se va a cortar.
1.Desenchufar la m谩quina de la red princi-
pal. No es suficiente con poner el
Interruptor de Marcha/Parada (D) en
posici贸n OFF.
2.Poner el Mando regulador de corte (A) en
la posici贸n "0".
3.Limpiar toda la superficie con una espon-
ja caliente y jabonosa. No utilizar pro-
ductos abrasivos ni detergentes secos, ya
que podr铆an deteriorar la superficie ano-
dizada.
4.Para limpiar la Cuchilla (E) quitar el
Cubre-cuchilla (M), desenroscando el
Tirante con roseta (N). Pasarle un trapo
impregnado en alcohol.
5.Para limpiar el Carro (B) hay que desen-
roscar el Pomo de sujecci贸n (O).
6.Lubrificar todos los puntos de desliza-
miento con aceite no vegetal.
Precauci贸n
1.No quitar el protector transparente de
seguridad (P).
2.No intentar cortar material que no sean
alimentos.
3.Para asegurar un funcionamiento correc-
to, comprobar peri贸dicamente que la
cuchilla, las piedras de afilar y la correa
de transmisi贸n se encuentran en buen
estado.
OTRAS OBSERVACIONES IMPORTANTES
Si el cable de alimentaci贸n se deteriora y es
preciso instalar uno nuevo, dicho recambio
s贸lo podr谩 ser realizado por un servicio
t茅cnico reconocido por SAMMIC.
Nivel de ruido de la m谩quina, en marcha,
colocada a 1,6 m de altura y 1 m de dis-
tancia, inferior a 70 dB (A). Ruido de fondo:
32 dB (A).

MODELS
This manual describes the installation,
operation and maintenance of the GC-220,
GC-250, GC-275, GC-300, GCP-250, GCP-
275, GCP-300 and GCP-350 Slicers.
The model reference and its specifications
are shown on the identification plate loca-
ted in the machine.
These slicer machines have been designed
and manufactured in accordance with the
following European directive: 89/392/EEC.
INSTALATION
For a suitable working operation and long
service life of the machine, follow the ins-
tructions contained in this manual.
Positioning
Place the slicer on a flat and firm area.
Small off-levels can be compensated by
means of the adjustable feet.
ELECTRIC INSTALATION
The slicers are single phase and are sup-
plied for 220V.
Before connecting the Slicer to the mains,
check if the motor is prepared for the same
voltage as the mains.
They must be EARTHED.
STARTING
1.Check if the Slicing control knob (A) is in
position "0".
2.Lay the goods on the Carriage (B), retai-
ning them with the Carriage handle set
(C).
3.Turn the Slicing control knob (A) till you
get the desired thickness.
4.Switch on the Start/stop switch (D) in
order to make the Blade (E) run and make
sure it rotates anti-clockwise.
Always use the Carriage handle set (C)
when you cut, never use your hands to
hold the goods during the cutting opera-
tion. Grasp the Pusher lever (F) to push
the Carriage (B).
5.When you have finished cutting, stop the
slicer by switching off the Start/stop
switch (D) and replace the Slicing control
knob (A) into position "0".
MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, overhauling or repairing
the machine, it is necessary to unplug it
from the mains.
Sharpening de blade
This operation is essential to obtain a per-
fect cut and ensure a long service life of the
blade.
Sharpening the blade must be carried out
when the blade is clean only. Sharpening a
dirty blade would cause damage to both
blade and the grinding wheel, in addition
to poor results.
After sharpening the blade, brush the grin-
ding wheel to eliminate any food residues.
Besides, clean blade and grinding wheel
with an alcohol-impregnated cloth to remo-
ve all traces of grinding dust.
For correct sharpening, proceed as descri-
bed below:
1.Degrease both sides of the blade (E) with
an alcohol-impregnated cloth.
2.Pull on the sharpener set (H), loosening
Sharpener holder (G); turn it clockwise
180潞. Fix the Sharpener set (H) tightening
Sharpener holder (G).
3.Switch on the machine and press the
Grinding abrasive pushbutton (I) to start
the grinding abrasive (J).
4.Press the Grindstone pushbutton (K) to
have the Grindstone (L) remove the burrs
that formed on the front edge of the
blade during sharpening.
IMPORTANT: Sharpening should last
about 20 seconds. Deburring should not
last more than 2 or 3 seconds.
5.Switch off the Start/stop switch (D) and
let down the Sharpener set (H) to its ori-
ginal storage position.
Cleaning
For hygiene reasons, the slicer must be
kept clean. It is therefore necessary to strip
down the machine and clean it at the end
of the workday as well as when changing
the sort of food to be cut.
1.Disconnect the slicer from the mains.
Simply switching off the Start/stop
switch (D) is not sufficient.
2.Place the Slicing control knob (A) in posi-
tion "0".
3.Clean the entire surface with a soft cloth
and hot and soapy water. Do not use
abrasives or dry detergents because they
would harm the anodized surface.
4.To clean the Blade (E), remove the Blade
guard (M) by unscrewing the Rosette tie
(N). Clean with an alcohol-impregnated
cloth.
5.To clean the Carriage set (B), unscrew
Carriage knob (O).
6.Lubricate all the slicing parts with non-
vegetable oil.
WARNING
1.Absolutely do not remove the security
Transparent guard (P).
2.Do not slice up material which is not
foodstuff.
3.If you want your machine to work pro-
perly, periodically check if the blade, the
sharpening stones and the drive belt are
in good conditions.
OTHER IMPORTANT REMARKS
-In the event the power supply cable should
get damaged and have to be replaced, the
repair may only be done by a SAMMIC
approved assistance service.
-The level of noise emission for a machine
working loaded, placed 1,6 metre high and
measured at a distance of 1 metre is less
than 70 dB (A). Backgrond noise: 32 dB (A).
